It completely eliminated the need for elevators or hauling my heavy luggage up flights of stairs. I could simply walk right in from a day of exploring and be straight in my room within seconds. It made coming and going incredibly efficient and stress-free.Traditional Charm and High SecurityInstead of the standard electronic card readers that constantly malfunction, the property uses traditional, physical keys. It gave the stay a wonderful, classic bed-and-breakfast charm while making me feel incredibly secure. The locks were sturdy, the property felt tightly monitored, and the staff was always visible and keeping an eye on the premises, which gave me immense peace of mind as a solo guest.The Room: A Perfect Personal SanctuaryMy ground-floor room was a wonderfully designed oasis. It was immaculately clean, quiet, and perfectly sized for a solo traveler. Despite being on the lower level, it was exceptionally well-soundproofed against outside noise, allowing for a fantastic night's sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was lightning-fast for planning my daily itineraries, and the bathroom was spotless with great water pressure.Warm Hospitality and Prime LocationThe staff here truly makes the experience. Without the barrier of a massive lobby, the service felt incredibly personal and warm. They greeted me by name, gave me fantastic local recommendations for solo dining, and always made sure I felt looked after. Plus, the hotel is situated in a wonderfully walkable neighborhood, putting local cafes, transit, and main attractions just a short walk away.The VerdictThis property proves that you do not need flashy high-tech gadgets or massive high-rises to provide a world-class stay. "A unique old hotel where some rooms have a car garage. Fast and satisfying service. There is no elevator for rooms on the second floor. So those bringing large suitcases will be helped by the hotel staff. What I like about this hotel is its security, where there are security guards who always guard and supervise every guest. I especially admire the friendly and attentive female security guards. For the room, I said it was okay because it was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't write a review for it. This hotel is close to a small jeepney terminal and a night market, there are also many restaurants and malls nearby. Just a 10-15 minute walk. When I checked in, I was asked for a 5,000 peso deposit (very large). Since I didn't have enough pesos because I was leaving Manila the next day, when I said I was giving a deposit in Ringgit, dollars, or yen, they allowed me not to give a room deposit. I also don't understand why the deposit was so large. When I gave Ringgit and asked for a receipt, the officer at that time didn't give it and returned my Ringgit. It was very suspicious not to want to provide proof of receipt."
