Hotel Romantik di Krabi

Without doubt this was the best place we've stayed in during our six visits to Thailand. The location was stunning. The level of service and unfailingly courteous and friendly attitude from every single member of staff was something to behold. And you could tell that this attitude stemmed from the owners themselves, who were so warm but professional in all their dealings with everyone. This attitude was infectious, and we found that all the guests were relaxed, and perhaps engaged more with people who they'd not normally mix with. A truly magnificent facility, which perfectly matched its jaw dropplinly stunning location.

Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all. Some things to keep in mind: - the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night; - the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference; - there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁 - you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path.

We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room for 2 nights. The location is excellent — very close to the pier, which makes arrival and departure very easy. Our room (105) was also close to the elevators, so it felt even closer to the pier than many of the other rooms. The room was very clean, and the size was decent. The balcony view overlooks Tonsai Beach, which is always nice to wake up to. Because the hotel is so close to the pier, you can hear and see people down there during the day. However, once the balcony door is closed most of the noise disappears, and we had no problem falling asleep. Facilities were all working well: • Elevator was great • Air conditioning worked properly • Wi-Fi was fine • Shower was good We didn’t use the TV. The staff were friendly and all spoke English, which made things easy. They do ask for a deposit at check-in, but that seems to be standard practice. There is breakfast available through the restaurant downstairs. Personally I didn’t enjoy it much, but if you’ve been traveling around Thailand for a while it will probably be fine. Overall, this is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay on Phi Phi, especially if you want to be right next to the pier.

We had an amazing stay at Frank Aonang Resort! Everything was wonderful from the beginning to the end. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and conveniently located not far from the main street. All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We especially want to thank Moom and Jan — they were absolutely amazing! They always helped us, gave us useful advice, and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. A special thank you to Jan for organizing tours for us, helping with our airport transfer, and always being there whenever we needed assistance. Her service was truly outstanding and made our trip even more special. Thank you for such a great experience — we would definitely love to come back again!

I booked the Ocean Cliff Villa. I am was here on April 19th, and there were not alot people. They have a boat service that picks you up, and drops you off room the pier. There were maybe only 15 - 20 guest , and no kids were there 🙏🏿! The hotel is very excluded from the rest of the island, which is great if you enjoy calm, peace, and quiet. The room was very clean, and all amenities worked properly. (I like it cold, and the AC was very powerful). The WiFi in my room was strong. I streamed Netflix, watched the NBA playoffs, and facetimed my mama while I was here. The staff was very friendly. They always helped us with our bags, gave extra towels when needed, and would give us a ride up the hill if they saw us walking. The room I purchased was indeed up a slope so be very mindful of that if you have limitations. The breakfast was included in my room, and it was good. For lunch/Dinner I ordered chicken fried rice and beef pad thai. It was very good. I am also very greedy and I eat almost anything so I am not the best person to give a food review, lol. I only stayed on night and I am seriously considering adjusting my vacation schedule so I can come back before I return to the states. 1 night was not enough. If you want to party, please do not ome here, and disturb the peace. There are plenty of other places in Thailand for that. If you want to kick back, vibe, and relax this is your place.

I had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

Check in was a breeze with luggage handlers helping carry your luggage from the pier to the hotel. The reception girls are really lovely and helpful with whatever request you might have(like booking boats to your next destination), just remember to say please and thank you(kohp khun ka/krap). The hotel is the last one on the pier side bay, therefore is really quiet, even now in high season. The down low is that you have to walk 20minutes to restaurants and bars on 30+ degree heat + high humity,so expect to arrive sweating both ways. The hotel itself is probably 40/50 years old and seems that never been renovated, the inside of the rooms need freshing up,paint etc...an overall renovation of the whole building. Although the rooms were clean, aircon was good and our room with the pool access(1 of 3) had great views from the bay. Pool was also clean and it was at a good temperature. If you are here for just a couple of days it is fine. Breakfast is basic but they have an egg station, so you can order your eggs however you prefer. And the black coffee was great too(better than other hotels we stayed in Bangkok/Krabi). The hotel staff were very kind to supply my wife with Flying Rabbit(a local thai version of gaviscon/diarrhoea medicine) which helped a mild food poisoning combined with charcoal tablets. Moreover, the hotel has a little private beach with sun lounges at the very end of the bay, perfect for chilling when you don't have any boat trips booked for the morning. Be aware that it becomes shady after around 3pm because its so close to the mountain. Also there were monkeys signs on your doors to keep them lock to prevent curious monkeys of rummaging through your stuff but we haven't seen any during our 3 night stay. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not unless completely renovated:, too far from the restaurants and bars and very old/tired. Make sure you use some walking shoes when going out because you definitely gonna hit that 10000 steps mark.

На пару дней вполне пойдёт. Но сам РhiPhi нам не понравился.Ехали за релаксом и красивым морем,а по итогу,очень много людей,море не очень чистое,постоянный шум моторных лодок. В отеле номера уставшие,видели тараканов. На завтрак красивый вид из ресторана,выбор небольшой,но всего хватало и было вкусно. Если хотите сразу договориться о трансфере по прибытию,пишите напрямую в отель через ватсап,потому что через трипком был длительный и непродуктивный чат.

Начну с плюсов. Для любителей больших и тихих отелей на острове очень удобно, так как удаленные от шума отели все на горках. Этот на равнине, поэтому с чемоданами и пожилым людям будет не сложно добраться. Есть бассейн, визуально чистый, но мы не плавали. Отель близко от пляжа Лонг бич. Теперь минусы. По сути отель только для переночевать, так как явно не тянет на три звезды. Много чего в номере сломано и его не пытаются починить. Завтраки никакие, скорее всего просто для того, что бы они были. В номере убираются только тогда, когда об этом скажешь, да и то только меняют воду и полотенца. Немытые стаканы упаковали в пакеты выдавая за чистые. Ржавый чайник, оторванная штора, плохой напор воды в душе, жесткие подушки, отсутствует интернет в номере. В общем как и писал, подойдет для просто переночевать.
