PPatrick Boland nzWithout doubt this was the best place we've stayed in during our six visits to Thailand. The location was stunning.
The level of service and unfailingly courteous and friendly attitude from every single member of staff was something to behold. And you could tell that this attitude stemmed from the owners themselves, who were so warm but professional in all their dealings with everyone.
This attitude was infectious, and we found that all the guests were relaxed, and perhaps engaged more with people who they'd not normally mix with. A truly magnificent facility, which perfectly matched its jaw dropplinly stunning location.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room for 2 nights.
The location is excellent — very close to the pier, which makes arrival and departure very easy. Our room (105) was also close to the elevators, so it felt even closer to the pier than many of the other rooms.
The room was very clean, and the size was decent. The balcony view overlooks Tonsai Beach, which is always nice to wake up to. Because the hotel is so close to the pier, you can hear and see people down there during the day. However, once the balcony door is closed most of the noise disappears, and we had no problem falling asleep.
Facilities were all working well:
• Elevator was great
• Air conditioning worked properly
• Wi-Fi was fine
• Shower was good
We didn’t use the TV.
The staff were friendly and all spoke English, which made things easy. They do ask for a deposit at check-in, but that seems to be standard practice.
There is breakfast available through the restaurant downstairs. Personally I didn’t enjoy it much, but if you’ve been traveling around Thailand for a while it will probably be fine.
Overall, this is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay on Phi Phi, especially if you want to be right next to the pier.

IIuliia m86Дорога к отелю довольно живописная, местами нужно идти аккуратно. А какие виды!!!! Ух!!! Есть бесплатная лодка от отеля, но впечатлила пешая прогулка, пройтись одно удовольствие. Тихо, если не считать цикад и будьте аккуратны на балкон приходят обезьяны. В номере очень уютно. Есть пижама, зубная паста щетки, крем для лица, фен, чай кофе, мини бар ( платно), воды 2 бутылки бесплатно. К Лонг Бич идти недалеко. Завтраки утром хорошие, еды много.

The location is excellent if you want pretty much everything worth seeing on Phi Phi within walking distance.
As the room is windowless, there is less noise from motorbikes and bars – still some, but nowhere near what you will likely experience at many other hotels on the island.
Bottled water provided.
Free lunch provided (I didn't take advantage if this as the times were fixed and I didn't want to have to eat in a set place during a 2–3 hour window).
Staff were very helpful.
Wifi was good.
Cons
Phi Phi is just too expensive now – what you get (small, windowless room, no room cleaning, no pool/gym etc) is just very poor value for money. In many other parts of Thailand you would get a huge room in a beautiful resort for the same price!
Room not cleaned over 3–4 days.
The room is very small – you are basically paying Singapore prices for a Hong Kong style box room.
Strong smell in the corridors (again, reading many reviews for PhiPhi hotels, this seems quite common), however the room didn't smell at all.
Overall, i'd say this is acceptable if you want one or two nights on PhiPhi. I don't think any more than that is necessary. If it was priced more reasonably, i'd say it could be good value for money but at over 4000 baht a night, it simply isn't right now. But I guess that comes down to competition, supply and demand.
The most important aspect for me was the quietness – not 100% but again, probably better than many other parts of the island.

The location is down a very quiet road just off the Main Street of Ao Nang with all amenities needed within a 10 minute walk. Staff also very helpful booking onward transfers like our shuttle and speedboat to Koh Samui. Highly recommend if visiting Ao Nang.

PPengguna TetamuVery scenic location with very friendly and helpful staff. We did the view point hike on the first day which was good but be ready for a steep start! The shuttle boats were always on time, but be aware the last one back is at 4.30pm so if you want to stay later in the main part of Phi Phi you’ll be looking at a 1600 baht return.
There’s only the one restaurant but had plenty of options, as well as a conscience store that stays open till 10pm.
We went in January and unfortunately the beach and ocean were covered in jelly fish so swimming was near impossible.
Overall decent stay, but note the rooms aren’t sound proof.

PPengguna TetamuI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal.
I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable.
Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data.
Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common.
The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand.
The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon.
The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets.
Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

We had a great time at the pool, and the staff were very friendly. The room was a bit old and the bed was quite hard, but overall, I loved the hotel. EExpat EDventuresA porter met us at the port and kindly carried our bags to the hotel, which was a nice and welcoming start to our stay. The rooms were as described; however, the hotel itself feels quite dated and is in need of general maintenance and updating. There was a noticeable mold smell in the room initially, though this disappeared once the air conditioning was turned on.
Breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee and made-to-order eggs. The private beach was a highlight—quiet, calm, and never crowded. The pool water itself was clean, but unfortunately the surrounding area was littered with cigarette butts. While we were relaxing at the pool, another family began smoking. We informed the front desk, but no action was taken, which was disappointing, especially as there were visible no-smoking signs.
The view from the fourth floor is truly spectacular. We did have one uncomfortable moment when housekeeping entered our room from the deck around 9 a.m. while we were packing. We greeted her immediately; she apologised and left. There was a Koi pond in the main lobby was sad as the fish in the side pond had insufficient water to swim upright.
This hotel could be amazing. Its peaceful location on an otherwise busy island, along with the dramatic cliffside setting and pool deck, gives it enormous potential. Unfortunately, it feels like the property has passed its peak, leaving a sense of missed opportunity rather than what it could still become.
