Hotel berhampiran Giardino del Diamante, via Gramsci, Rome

With the expectation that this is a guest house (not a hotel), we were duly impressed with the amenities and cleanliness of this place. It is ideally located at Piazza Barberini (next to Metro stop, by the Triton fountain, and across the street from pick up of Rome hop-on/ hop-off bus), with a cafe across the street and several restaurants, pharmacy, bank nearby. It is about a 10-15 leisurely walk to Trevi Fountain, so location is attractive for tourists like us. We travelled as a family (2 adults, 1 child) and we were assigned a triple room overlooking the courtyard (very quiet at night, even for my husband who is a light sleeper). The central air conditioning was amazing, especially in the summer heat. The housekeeping is exceptionally prompt ( we would return after lunch for a siesta and the beds are made, bathroom cleaned, fresh towels available). While they don’t have breakfast onsite at this time, we are able to buy breakfast vouchers for 3 euros for the cafe across the street (this is the discounted rate since the same breakfast is €4.50 without a voucher). This was a quick breakfast type: cappuccino and a cornetto (croissant with Nutella or jam). If you want an American breakfast, that is also available at said cafe. Prior to check-out, the front desk arranged for our airport transfer (€65 van pick up). Alternatively, folks can walk to the taxi stand across the street (€50 standard tariff for airport drop off by taxis) but we had someone with mobility issues so pickup in front of the guest house was ideal. Other amenities included basic soap and body wash, in-room safe, water bottles when we first arrived and small refrigerator inside our room. There is also a vending machine near the front desk for additional water/juice and coffee vending machine (you will need coins- it was maybe 85 cents for a small coffee). There is a nearby PAM grocery we frequented for bottled water and other supplies. Overall, a memorable stay and we hope to back again soon.

This hotel was a disappointment. I stayed there for four nights this easter for my first trip to Rome. I choose this hotel because it was central and medium high ranked, but the only positive thing was the location. It sits centrally located near the Pantheon and most things are in walking distance. However, to even get into the hotel you need to go through a police checkpoint since the hotel is opposite to the parliament building across the piazza. Still that’s not the problem. Although the hotel has a shiny reception the rest of the hotel is worn and not living up to its reputation. The rooms are worn down and though cleaned things doesn’t seem quite clean. The the bed was squeaky and barely holding together. The bathroom shower was broken and the bathroom altogether tiny. Breakfast was another disappointment. Although it had a basic, not continental thought, composition, they always ran out of food before breakfast time was over. The croissants were burnt, the eggs badly overcooked and the cheese dry. Not very pleasant. So the only thing that was positive was the location. Still there is a hundred other hotels with the same location and I can’t imagine them being as bad as this. Spend your money elsewhere.

The hotel was great- it's located 10 mins from termini central station (so easy to get there from the airport and no need to walk alot with your luggage), and from piazza della repubblica (so close to another metro station). The location was great because it's walking distance to everthing you want to see (I only took the metro to the vatican- you could also walk there, which I did on the way back when I had more time). There are also good restaurants, gelaterias and shops in the area (as it's located next to via nazionale and the opera house) and they are usually less expensive and crowded than those near famous sites (so I ate there almost every evening). I had a single room which was clean and had everything I needed (comfy bed, safe, hot water, wifi, etc.). The staff was really nice and helpful (they are there 24/7, and you can leave your luggage with them if you need), and the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit! The room is spacious enough for me and my friend to open our luggage at the same time and still lots of room to walk around with the case opened. The bed and linens are comfortable. Desk to long and wide, with two chairs allow us to use and put on daily skin care together. Only if they could setup slippers in room and add in tooth brush and tooth paste in the bathroom then it will be perfect. Location wise there are quite a lot of restaurants around and it is very close to the central terminal, just a 5-10 minutes walk. You can also take bus or train around to travel around attractions in Rome very easily. There are 2-3 receptionists in the check in counter, they are very knowledgeable to Rome and hotel product knowledge, hope they could keep smile on faces and more friendly. Also I request a non need service to our room to the housekeeping attendant on the second day, but we came back to the room and found it was cleaned. Attached the photo is the door stopper which I found good for the attendant they don’t need to bend their back and also to protect the door from getting starches at the same time.

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. I appreciate how Julian ( the receptionist/ cleaner) welcomed us and did his best while we wait until he finished cleaning our room. We did arrive early so we understand why our room wasn’t ready yet. We have no complaints against him. He is very sweet and nice. However, the room is totally different from the photos posted on their site. The room space was tolerable but no A/C and there is a very weird smell in the bathroom and the second night was totally NO WIFI. I texted the contact number but no response. The shower area was small. I am a petite woman and I weight 120 pounds I barely cannot move a lot and I do not think a 6 foot male weighing more than 200 pounds won’t be able to move freely in the shower cubicle. Another thing that is a disappointment was 2 month and 1 month prior to our arrival We requested for an airport shuttle (since it was mentioned that they offer this service, which is also the major reason we picked this property to stay) the day before the arrival was the only time we found out from Andrea ( he’s a male) that we won’t be able to picked up since he said the shuttle is already full. We we’re really disappointed. If we knew about that hassle we should’ve arrange a different transportation or went to a different hotel that offer the airport pick up. I didn’t like how he sent us the message saying that we never communicated very well with him. Like what I mentioned, we were already trying to request for this 2 months and again a month before our arrival. Only last minute we found out that we’re on our own to figure it out how to get to Dada suites. The only good thing about this property was Julian. We like him a lot . The location was ok but there are better properties that have better location to tourist spots and excellent service.

距離地鐵站需要走路約20分鐘，入口不好找，遇到好心人士幫忙才找到入口，房間沒有上下舖是有點，浴室不知道是我不會使用，還是真的只有冷水可以洗澡 🤣🤣 早餐5歐元，有咖啡，牛奶，可頌跟其他甜點，還有蘋果，種類豐富，距離景點不願走路即可

Only two stars but spotlessly clean. Lovely room and super shower room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Fridge in the room. Coffee machine and snack machine near reception. No lift. Room only. Area is a bit run down. Lovely park 100 metres away with pavement cafe/bar doing basic snacks. Would go there again

Abbiamo soggiornato in occasione dell'evento Europa in danza, insieme a mia figlia che ha partecipato alle audizioni con maestri internazionali. Personale accogliente e preparato. Pulizia della camera ottimale. Colazione a buffet con cibi salati e dolci davvero ottima. Nei pressi c'è un fornitissimo supermercato (Panorama). Facilità di parcheggio nel piazzale antistante l'hotel. Ottima esperienza. Da ripetere.

Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.
