Hotel berhampiran Sottopassaggio per EUR magliana, Rome

Stayed here for what was supposed to be 3 nights but checked out early and stayed elsewhere. Didn’t bother saying to the hotel we were checking out just left. Didn’t see the point as none of our concerns were attended to whilst we were there. Completely ignored. Firstly the hotel is very far out from rome city centre like a 30/35 min taxi ride. Costing about €40-50. We were ignored at check in with 1 person in front of us and treat unfairly compared to Italian people. An Italian couple were ushered up to the desk to check in in front of us to our disbelief. Upon check in the walls in the bathroom had soap all spilled down them and hadn’t been cleaned off. Our air conditioning wouldn’t work to which we were told at reception it’s fine. The keycard kept locking us out our room every time we left and reception said we must have had it next to keys in our pocket which we didn’t have. But every time we went to room had to go to reception and sort out the card as were locked out. Asked about a cash point nearby to a member of staff and the reply was I don’t know and shrugged shoulders. Then asked about room service and was told don’t think so ask in restaurant. Couldn’t deal with the ignorance anymore so moved elsewhere.

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.

Great hotel! Beautiful pool and pool area. Nice clean rooms with good air-conditioning. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel offers free onsite parking, free wifi, and has a new gym area. 10 Minute taxi ride to the center. A great value for your money. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Very nice classy Italian hotel, has his own history and amazing design I arrived at 13:30 and worker at reception was so nice and checked me in. The room was huge with nice view to the main street. All furniture a bit old but hotel has a real style, I like it a lot Very good cosmetics in bathroom. Breakfast is ok

Accommodation in Rome is insanely overpriced at all price points…However, if one wants to stay in central Rome then this is definitely a great hotel to stay at. Clean, modern, great customer service, extremely comfortable bed! What more can one hope for from a couple of nights stay. It should be noted that the area around Termini is not the nicest in Rome, however the hotel is at least located in the (relatively) better part of the area around termini.

This is not a hotel and can't be called a homestay. It's just a large space separated into many small rooms. We are here to celebrate our wedding anniversary.And they knew. They gave us room No.9 for two nights. There is no place outside the building that marks the name of the hotel. You need to take a lot of stairs to reach the gate. You have to take a lot of stairs to get to the reception, it can't be called a reception, it's just a tiny room. you have to enter 3 times password to get in the geust room. They provide refrigerator, microwave etc. in a public area. The No. 9 room is terrible, There's a secret space inside, I tried to communicate with staff, they replied It's just a wall the architecture of the room! The bathroom is very small, and the shower room can barely stand for one person. It is difficult to turn around. You have to open the door repeatedly to get what you need for the shower cuz there is no place to hold any shower stuff. Btw, when you open the window, you can't see any sunlight. You can only see the garbage, and stinky smell as well. I called and tried to communicated to them about change room, the always reply there is no more room, sorry! But we found the No.5 room is available, and then, no more reply. The room was very damp. When I left, my body was very itchy. I don't know if there were any damp insects. The only advantage here is , you can arrive at the Cavour subway station by taking 5 steps. This is really a terrible accommodation experience. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Many & varied breakfast options. Comfortable air conditioned lounge downstairs off lobby. Proximity to bus, train, restaurants, mini markets and laundry (10 euro W&D) was excellent for 5 days in Rome. Disappointing check-in experience was had and witnessed twice, but fortunately this was the only blight on our stay.

I will start from check in: This was easy, but the guy on the desk was rude and miserable. We were taken to our room by a guy who was slightly more pleasant. We were in Bernini 3. The room was spotlessly clean, but very very small, and dark. The mini bar was filled daily, as were the toiletries and towels, and the room was cleaned to a high standard, it also had awesome aircon. The down side was it’s general size and dungeon like feeling. The 2nd bed was a really thin “mattress” chair bed in alcove in front of the door to the balcony, which didn’t open fully, as the bed was in front of it. We asked for another mattress, as you actually fell through the one on it, which the hotel did for us. Overall the room was functional and clean, but not nice. I think looking at the website and Tripadvisor, the only room with no photos, which maybe due to the fact that you were unable to show how the room was. Breakfast was very nice and fresh made, and the man working there was very nice. The hotel was in the centre of everything, so is a great base, with the trevi fountain 1 minute away, and everything else within a 10-20 minute walk. Sorry for the 3 ranting, the room was terrible, but the hotel and position was great.
