"Beautiful hotel, very clean, modern and stylish. Our room appears to be newly refurbished as well. The hotel is very safe, staff are very attentive. Except for one rude customer that I had an unfortunate pleasure of witnessing her very appalling childish behaviour toward staff during breakfast service. I feel so sorry for the staff who were treated by this person in such manner. They were nothing but respectful. They handled the incident very professionally and I was impressed. The hotel is also a walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, less than 300 meters walk. The lunch menu especially the lamb shank was an absolute delight according to my husband. The breakfast menu was grand and the best. Absolutely delicious spread. The pool area is very clean and the water is at its perfect temperature. We highly recommend the Steigenberger Hotel Chain. Top notch service."

"I had a fantastic experience during my stay. The hotel is in a great location close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The entrance is elegant and gives a very good first impression. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any request. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay, and the soundproofing made the room quiet despite being in the city center. I also appreciated the complimentary tea, kettle, and bottled water provided in the room. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh food every morning, and the sauna was a great place to relax after a busy day. The hotel also helped arrange airport transportation, which made my trip much easier. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo."

"Excellent place and great people I was visiting Cairo for several days to refresh old memories because I have lived in Zamalek 50 years ago. I looked for the hotel just somewhere in the heart of Northern part of Zamalek, and location at Taha Hussein street was the best possible option, so I have chosen The President hotel. I had just general expectations as from regular three star hotel, but staff and hotel amenities have exceeded my humble expectations far beyond! The room was very clean and spacious, slippers, toothbrush, shower supplies, teapot, tea, coffee bags, minibar - everything was very nice and provided. Starting from security at entrance and reception (I was put to the level where restaurant is for my convenience), everyone was very nice and polite to me. Housekeeping by Mohammed Eldeep was perfect. Service at breakfast was outstanding (and at dinner too), and chef Mitu had cooked the most delicious food with personal attention and kindness. And tour service provided by manager Dahy was beyond perfection - utmost and ultimately outstanding and fabulous. I was taking complex trips around the city and transfer to the airport. With the greatest scrutinous attention to details from Dahy I got excellent service and very professional drivers so my trips were exceptionally planned and fulfilled in time. To wrap up, I strongly recommend the President hotel due to mostly positive and splendid emotions I have received there during my 3-nights stay. Area has great infrastructure once you need 24/7 groceries, pharmacy or ATM. Don't recommend to drive in Zamalek, better take cab or walk."

"We stayed in this hotel for more than 2 weeks. It is a mediocre hotel which is acceptable if one does not expect a good standard. The lobby ceiling is low which is not usual for such big hotels. The bar and the restaurants are not very attractive. The food in the Italian restaurant was of a very low standard and we returned it and skipped this meal. Our newly renovated room in the main building was well acceptable which we experienced after we moved from a very old style room in the tower. It is not far away from the airport and can set e well if one does not expect much. Annoying was that upon checkout it took 15 minutes to proof that our booking had been prepaid which is a other indication for the hotel's organisation and standard."

"The location is at city center nearby to Egyptian Museum. Plenty of amenities within 10 minutes walk. The famed Koshary Abu Tarek is within 6 minutes walk. The rooms are well maintained. There is a staff at the reception 24/7. Guests of all ages and nationalities can be accomodated. Suggestion for improvement: 1. The towels to be issued upon check-in and not upon request. 2. The lift need to be upgraded as I was ever caught inside when there is a power trip. And often the lift did not operate because the lift door was not closed properly. Understand that the lift is not manage by your hostel. Please request for it from the building owner as it is not acceptable. 3. Consider centralized air condition system. Anyone can turn off the air conditioner affecting others."

"I had very bad experience in this hotel and will never stay in the future again. I booked for double room however when I came and checked in and went up to the room , I was surprised that the room has two single beds . Called the reception and informed him but he said that the tour operator did not inform them that I have double occupancy and needs king size bed . They did not have king size bed available so we stayed in this room however , the AC was so noisy to the extend that you can not hear each other when you talk inside the room . I asked them to change the room and they gave me another one but the AC was also extremely loud - I understood after asking few questions that almost all rooms in the hotel are having loud noisy sound .  Next day they changed my room to double room with king size bed and I told them clearly that I need a room with good AC . I moved to the room and I was shocked that the the sound was fine but the AC was not cooling , the temperature in the room was not going below 26 degree. I told the recipient to send the engineering team and they tried to fix it but the problem was the same . No one did any courtesy call to check and I did not tell the Front office team about the problem as I lost all hopes that they will fix it . Stuff are generally not smiling , FO team are very dry and arrogant except for Mostapha , FB team are not smiling at all and they have stiff body language except for one lady in the lobby coffee who is very so cheerful ( morning duty )Muhammad and Amir from the sport bar are amazing and true hoteliers - they know how to talk to guests and they are very pleasant and always smiling - they are really professional. Muhammad from bell desk is just amazing and nice person . Yousef from laundry is a true hotelier who went extra mile and beyond his scope of work when he had to stay late after the closing hours of the laundry when I called him at 9:55pm asking him that I need one shirt urgent  to be pressed as all my shirts are wrinkled in the bag. He helped me to do it and had to stay late - he should be eligible for employee of the month . I am not able to write many details here but I did not have a pleasant experience. Very important point that the feeling that you get to once you enter the hotel from the main entrance of the street that you are entering a military base from the amount of security level they have which I am fine with it but what I do not accept that when I came with uber and it happened few times - those security officers stopping the cars do not have the right to waste the time of the guests when we have to listen to thier personal stories after stoping the car and the guest inside it - it’s absolutely un acceptable and does not reflect a professional image for the hotel - those security officers must be trained to make sure that when uber car or any car enters the hotel with the guest , they should inspect the car and take copies of the drivers licenses instantly and swiftly - not to keep the car waiting for long time until they finish their story . This is irrespecful for the timing and we should pay a good attention to timing and train our staff how to respect it.  The housekeeping attendant forgot the dirty duster on the side table when she cleaned the room ."

"The military runs this hotel. It is alcohol-free. People were smoking everywhere, which may or may not bother others. The breakfast and dining services were good. The room was clean but a little dated. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was helpful and always willing to answer questions and offer assistance. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day. I was disconnected/hung up on 3 times when trying to confirm that someone would be able to check us in when I arrived after midnight. I was told it would be fine but we had to wait for someone to check us in. The pool was great and we have no complaints. We had arranged a driver to take us on our tours so I am not sure if the location is good or not. Great hotel and would recommend it."

"The hotel is very conveniently located near airport, making it a best choice for travelers who are on short visit to or transit via Cairo. The facilities are outstanding with a well maintained swimming pool, nice restaurants, souvenir shops and with nice & attentive staffs. The check in was made a little earlier and smoother via online check-in. The room is clean, well maintained and spacious for the price range. The hotel offers free shuttle service to all the departure terminals (once in 30 minutes for 24 hours) and the complimentary buffer breakfast was awesome with a wide spread of menu items."
