The hotel is very close to the attractions. There is a light rail within a 5-minute walk to the station, and St. Bavo's Cathedral is about a 7-minute walk away. The hotel room is very large, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, and no one is sent to clean it every day. Cleaning service is only available if you stay for more than seven days.

Great hotel in a great location! I was situated in the front of the hotel facing the street with beautiful views of Gent’s skyline. Lots of cafes and restaurants just downstairs and in walking distance. There was also a lot of great shopping nearby. Standard retail that you could find in most cities and also interesting shops with handmade and unique products. Also walking distance to all the sights you want to see. Although the room is small, it was comfy.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Coffee, tea and biscuits were provided. The bathroom was bright and the staff at the counter were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the central station, but a little far from the attractions. Since we were not in a hurry, we could reach the attractions in about half an hour.

Very good four-star hotel, the service is very good, there is free parking at the door, it is very important for us to drive by car, it is very convenient to transfer at the highway intersection, there is a very rich breakfast, there is a mini refrigerator, we stayed for two days very satisfied, will stay again next time

The room was fine. We needed extra bedding and 2 nice staff came immediately and made the extra bed for us. However! We arrived with a reservation confirmation of 2 adults 1 child. Their confirmation had 2 people therefore the room they had was too small. They did have another room for 3 they said we could have but it would be 30 euros extra. At the time we simply agreed and paid as there was a big queue behind us and the amount was small. Buttons seemed like a con to extract more money from us, it wasn't our mistake as we had confirmation for 3 people at the designated price. It's a shame as I really liked Ghent and will certainly return but there are other hotels to choose from.

Super warm hotel, must be five-star praise! Hotel location is very good to go out is the castle, a few minutes walk to the attractions super convenient. The most impressive thing is the service of the staff. Especially a lady at the front desk (sorry, I didn't remember her name), asked her how to take the bus to The Hague. At that time, there were other guests waiting. We were not embarrassed to delay. The staff probably checked and we left first. As a result, when she returned to the hotel at night, she specially handed over three notes, which clearly wrote the address of the car, the time of each train, and even how long to get to the station in advance! This detail is really heartwarming! Location plus points, service is full marks, next time you come here!

A fantastic hotel with an excellent location right by the canal. The hotel has two entrances: one accessible by vehicle on a back street, and another directly opening onto the canal. Tour boats stop almost right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to pop back to rest our feet after exploring. The front desk staff were very friendly. The canal view was absolutely worth it; opening the window revealed a postcard-perfect scene. You could happily spend a whole day just enjoying the room. There's a supermarket nearby where you can buy fruit and water, and complimentary water was also provided in the fridge. The spacious bathroom was well-equipped with an iron, hairdryer, slippers, and a shower cap. Marriott's quality standards are definitely upheld here. Highly recommended!

Perfect location near tram stations and lively streets. Lovely and helpful hotel staff, amazing rooms and good ammenities. It's a perfect hotel for small trips look nowhere else! Also rooms have great view of the cathedrals :)

Because I joined a domestic tour group halfway through, I stayed at the hotel. It feels good. The hotel is relatively new and not big, but it is clean and the bed is comfortable. The pillows are weird, square and not good for pillows. , The front desk service is very good, and also helped us to arrange a taxi to Brussels Airport.

The hotel is one stop away from Ghent's central station. Some trains pass through Ghent and then reach this station in one stop. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station. You can take a bus, ride a bicycle or walk to the old town of Ghent (each has a different experience). There is a bus terminal and a Carrefour near the hotel (but the quality of fresh food in this Carrefour is not very good, I recommend Albert Heijn in the city center) The hotel has a parking lot, and the lobby is shared with Ibis style (the price is similar, the rooms here are larger and have a small kitchen). The small kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, microwave, kitchen utensils and tableware) You can take a train from Ghent to Bruges, Antwerp and Brussels (the one-way train journey is less than 1 hour). At night, you can also enjoy the beautiful night view of the ancient city of Ghent. It is highly recommended.
