Věry lovely hotel. City Center , gorgeous swimming pool with amazing view, great breakfast. Very Good Wellness zone and exclusive Thaj massage, which I really liked. The Best weekend stay I can reccommend

Situated in the heart of Karlovy Vary this hotel is in an old style building and require some improvements. The room was spacious but the bedding was not for a 4 star level. There were no toiletries available except the first day and not for two people. There was no shower gel, no shampoo in the bathroom and the hair drier was a joke running for about 10 seconds before cutting off. We found dust everywhere, hair on the bathroom floor and no complimentaries except coffee and tea the first day. The breakfast was very skimpy with some bread rolls of 3-4 days old and poor variety food. We will not return to this hotel and would not recommend to others.

Wir hatten 4 Tage über Travelzoo gebucht. Alles in allem ein schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal und aufmerksamen Service. Das Gepäck wurde aufs Zimmer gebracht und das Auto in der Tiefgarage geparkt. Ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch gemachten Pancakes, Spiegeleiern, Omelettes und Rührei. Lediglich das Buffet am Abend war nichts besonderes und auch nicht wirklich abwechslungsreich. Dafür tolle Lage des Hotels und sehr geräumige Zimmer. Für einen Kurzurlaub sehr zu empfehlen. Lediglich das parken für 20€ /Nacht ist schon sehr happig.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem hundefreundlichen Hotel, was die Auswahl oft schon wieder ein bisschen einschränkt. Beim Hotel Palacky überzeugten hauptsächlich die Lage und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Hotel befindet sich in traumhafter Lage direkt in der Stará Louka, der ”Flaniermeile” Karlsbads. Sowohl die berühmten Kolonnaden als auch der Eingang zur Seilbahn Richtung Aussichtsturm ”Diana” befinden sich fast um die Ecke. Schlafen konnte ich in den Betten erstaunlicherweise sehr gut und kann mich den Beschwerden zumindest in diesem Punkt nicht anschließen. Nun zu den Punkten, die leider negativ aufgefallen sind: Zum Check-In war die Rezeption nicht besetzt, unser Schlüssel lag zusammen mit einem Infoschreiben auf dem Tresen - das ist zwar unkompliziert, jedoch hätte jeder einfach hereinkommen und in unser gebuchtes Zimmer ”einziehen” können, da nichts vorgezeigt oder kontrolliert werden musste (wie auch?!). Das Zimmer selbst war groß und verfügte über einen zusätzlichen Flur und getrenntes Bad und WC - was ich persönlich sehr komfortabel finde. Leider wurde das Zimmer während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Es muss nicht jeden Tag ein Großputz stattfinden, das macht man zu Hause schließlich auch nicht. Auch das tägliche Wechseln der Handtücher finde ich unnötig. Aber wenn man einen Hund dabei hat und das gesamte Zimmer mit Teppich ausgelegt ist, wäre ein wenig Staubsaugen schon angebracht gewesen. Auch der Müll sollte geleert werden, denn es gab für das gesamte Zimmer lediglich einen kleinen Hygieneeimer in der Toilette - dort musste dann notgedungen alles entsorgt werden, was an Abfällen anfiel. Der Vorrat an Toilettenpapier sollte auch zwischendurch einmal kontrolliert und bei Bedarf aufgefüllt werden. In der Fensterscheibe unseres Zimmers entdeckten wir einen ziemlich großen Riss - gefährlich und unansehnlich! Was allerdings täglich gereinigt wurde, war das Restaurant welches sich im Hotel befindet. Dort wurde täglich zur Frühstückszeit gestaubsaugt, sodass man während des Essens immer dem Lärm ausgesetzt war, da sich das Restaurant - mit offener Decke - direkt unter dem Frühstückraum befindet. Selbstverständlich ist es lobenswert und auch akzeptabel, dass täglich gestaubsaugt wird, allerdings frage ich mich, ob man das nicht absprechen und anders planen kann. Frühstück gab es bis 10 Uhr - vielleicht kann man zuerst andere Tätigkeiten verrichten und ab 10 Uhr staubsaugen? Durch die Raumaufteilung des Hauses hat man zwangsläufig den Eindruck, dass direkt neben dem Esstisch gesaugt wird. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, man sollte in dieser Preis- und Hotelkategorie auch keinen Luxus erwarten. Es war ausreichend Auswahl vorhanden, es wurde immer nachgefüllt und man wurde satt - zu Hause habe ich auch keine 5 Brotsorten vorrätig, die ich täglich serviere. Ein bisschen mehr Auswahl an Obst wäre jedoch schön gewesen (es gab täglich Äpfel, aber mehr auch nicht). Leider gibt es keinen hoteleigenen Parkplatz - das sollte man

My wife and I lodged one night at this hotel, while travelling. The room was excellent and rather large. The place is quite big, so getting from the reception to our room and vice versa was a bit complicated, also because you have to use your access pass every time you take an elevator. The receptionists are not sufficiently fluent in English, or don't speak English at all. They did not suggest that I could speak German instead. The breakfast was very nice, with ample choice. The dinner procedure was a bit special... we gave our room number at the restaurant entrance desk and made our choices from the menu. There was no bill or receipt at the end and no signature asked. When I asked the restaurant personnel for the bill, they didn't understand. The drinks, in our case a bottle of wine, were provided by the bar in the room next to the restaurant. Personnel is not taking the drinks order, you have to go to the bar yourself and order it there and you can only pay by card, they do not accept cash. On checkout, next morning, I could pay for the dinner, but only by card, because the receptionist did not have cash change, she said. I would suggest, that the hotel's management thoroughly review all customer interaction processes (reception area, restaurant, bar), because these are inefficient and sometime even unpleasant! The place itself, Karlovy Vary city centre, makes great photographs, but I would rate it 'disappointing' in terms of outdoor amenities. There are countless overpriced jewlery shops, but only a few nice restaurants and bars. If you have seen Karlovy Vary once, you don't need to see it again...

Stayed here for a few nights for work during the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. I liked this hotel although it was pretty hard to judge it properly as the entire place was PACKED due to the film festival with all areas and many floors of the hotel being used by companies and displays. It is a bit of an oddity in Karlovy Vary as it's a modern 15 floor tower / conference centre in a town full of Czech old world buildings (I can only imagine the uproar when they planned it). So it's a hotel that also has Spa / Medical Treatment / Swimming pool, thermal pool / pool party / conference centre and restaurants. It seems to be modern by local standards - I was in a superior room with a balcony on the 13th floor with great views. The room had all the mod cons available in most decent hotels, good wi-fi, USB Power outlets, nice firm bed, good regular housekeeping. One thing I noticed was that the beds didn't have a separate sheet, only a fitted sheet and then a throw over dooner - no big deal, just different. Downstairs restaurant doing breakfast / lunch / dinner with a lot of options and really good wait staff. There's a large separate building (accessed by hill climbing elevator) that has an outdoor heated pool, thermal pool, saunas, change facilities - there was also a Pool Party with DJ, bar etc on the weekend days / nights (I assume that's just in summer or just during the film festival). I believe you get complimentary access to the pools /saunas for a couple of hours every day of your stay - I used it every morning for laps, it was great. In the pool complex there's also a decent restaurant with amazing views. As I said, the place was packed and the staff all seemed to handle it well. Everything you could want outside the hotel is a short walk away and there's SO many restaurants / bars etc to choose from. Karlovy Vary wasn't on my list of places to visit, but now that I've been there I'd consider going back.

Unser Zimmer (Superior mit Balkon) war ansprechend und sauber. Der möblierte Balkon war leider nicht nutzbar, da voller Schnee... Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche und kostenlosen Pflegeprodukten. Zimmerausstattung ansonsten normal (TV, WLAN, Minikühlschrank, Bademäntel, Slipper) - kein Safe, kein Wasser/Tee/Kaffee. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Keine Sterneküche jedoch sollte hier für jeden etwas dabei sein! Frühstücksbuffet: ausreichende Auswahl an Speisen - Wurst, Käse, Spiegeleier, Brot, div. Gemüse, Saft aus Automat, Tee und Kaffee sehr gut. Abendbuffet: ebenfalls ausreichende Auswahl an Speisen - Salat, Suppe, 3 versch. Hauptspeisen (z.B. Hackbraten, Hühnchen, Fisch) dazu diverse Beilagen (Nudel mit versch. Soßen, Reis, Kartoffelpüree, Gemüse), Nachspeisen. Getränkepreise völlig in Ordnung. SPA Bereich: Abgesehen von zu wenig Handtüchern - 5 STERNE Schwimmbecken (ca. 28-29°C) mit Massagedüsenbereich. Rundherum bodentiefe Panoramafenster. Die Liegen könnten bei Vollauslastung knapp werden. Separat davon gibt es noch 4 verschiedene Saunen und einen Ruhebereich mit Liegen - alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Dampfbad funktionierte leider nicht. Fazit: abgesehen von ein paar Kleinigkeiten ein schöner Wellnessaufenthalt mit super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Excellent. Hotel was in a great location, clean, staff was helpful and courteous. Room was spacious with balcony, which was very nice. Breakfast spread was also very nice (selection and amount). We were really impressed with the value of the stay here. We did opt to pay extra for the included dinner, which was well worth it. I would rate the dinner 3.5 to 4 out of 5. This is a 160 year old hotel, so expect things to be dated. However the keep it in good shape so that adds to the charm. You will not be disappointed here. I only wish the shower was a bit bigger…other than that, I thought it was great!

I really don’t understand the bad reviews! We stayed 1 night in this hotel and we were very satisfied with everything: the hotel has a great location , the staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean and cozy and the breakfast was nice with enough choices. We payed £47 for a room and we got a great value for this money. We particularly liked The room where the breakfast was served, it had such a special atmosphere with a super view. The only disadvantage was :the hotel doesn’t have its own parking place but we easily found a parking place somewhere else. We will definitely come back

The staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean, with a stunning view of the surrounding nature. The wellness and spa facilities were outstanding. Hotel Esplanade in Mariánské Lázně truly exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect destination for anyone seeking a combination of luxury, relaxation, and first-class service. Nice And clean appartment. Each has a kitchen And bathroom with hairdryer. It was our second stay here this year. Every appartment has unique musical style And there Is also a museum of music (free for guests). It Is not far from center And still parking Is possible nearby (very important for us). Self check-in system Is very easy too And every time we had a question, there Is response on WhatsApp. This service, sending information via WhatsApp (for the First time a few days before we arrived) Is perfect. Lobby Is also comfort - coffee Machine, digital fireplace And So on.
