Great stay, very comfortable beds and a good size pool. Located a but further away from the city.

Reception was wonderfully nice, and she could converse with me in two out of her three languages. Amazing. Clean and tidy well run place. Very comfortable in ”my little trailor” which reminded me of Sapelo Island Georgia.

Beautiful and clean facility but not enough rubbish bins in main camping area as by Tuesday these were overflowing. None of the electric car points were working as they were under maintenance and no fast charging points available so need to take own charge house cable and slow charge.

This hotel was wonderful. It was located on the lake and had amazing views to wake up too. The hotel is very family friendly and includes a heated pool and tennis court. I enjoyed going for a morning walk along the lake too. It was a large apartment and the staff were accommodating too. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked via a travel agent and fully paid. When we checked-in, the staff knew that we already paid via the travel agent. After we checked out, we are shocked that the hotel double charged the room fee to our credit card without informing us. The receptionists are apathy and unhelpful. We are disappointed with Novotel.

Clean room,kitchen,separated toilet and shower.Staffs are kind and friendly.Guests are fun and polite hete.I super recommend and.wanna come back.

Wow! We go upgraded to two bedroom apartment which was really handy since it has washer/dryer plus air conditioning in both bedrooms and open plan living area. Very clean and modern apartment with good appliances (Bosch cooktop, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer). The apartment is sound proofed. They also have 4 varieties of Zealong Tea Estate teas along with the Zealong cups plus coffee pods. The hotel is next to the lake and shops so it’s quite convenient. My only issue is that outside of night time sleeping hours, the air conditioner would turn off by itself after a few minutes. Other than that, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend it to others.

J’ai passé une nuit au Adventure Taupō Hostel et je peux dire que c’est l’un des meilleurs hostels dans lesquels j’ai séjourné. L’établissement est flambant neuf, ce qui se ressent partout : tout est ultra moderne, impeccable et parfaitement entretenu. L’accueil a été excellent, avec un personnel très sympathique, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. La cuisine est tout simplement exceptionnelle. C’est probablement la cuisine de backpackers la mieux équipée que j’aie vue : très propre, immense, avec énormément d’espace de rangement et tout le matériel nécessaire. Le salon commun est lui aussi très agréable, parfait pour rencontrer et échanger avec d’autres voyageurs. Les chambres sont modernes et très bien pensées, avec notamment des prises USB-C directement à disposition pour recharger ses appareils, un détail très apprécié. Franchement, c’est un sans-faute. Pour le rapport qualité-prix, difficile de faire mieux. Je recommande cet hostel à 100 % à tous ceux qui passent par Taupō.

We stayed outside of Taupo, it was ideal for us as we had a few activities booked.the accommodation was great. The rooms were clean and tidy.the beds were comfortable. It had everything that we needed. Hair dryer, fridge kettle iron etc. Would defo stay again. There was a pool that we didnt use as we didnt havethe time and a leisure suite. Would recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful, quiet & undisturbed stay at the Anglers Lodge. The place is tranquil and was not crowded, so we really enjoyed the spacious grounds of the Lodge. The communal kitchen and bathroom facilities were super clean. Overall very well maintained. The pool and games room were much fun for the children. We did fishing at the bay right outside the Lodge. There is minimum 15-20min drive out from the Lodge to Coromandel and the Peninsula.
