It was fair for the price and in a good location for accessing the forest park via the East entrance. Great to be able to do our washing and hang it to dry on the covered rooftop. The air conditioning in our room was a bit hit and miss, going from cooling to heating during the night. Overall nice atmosphere.

We had a great experience at Avatar Mountain Resort. All the staff took great care of us and had quick responses to any requests. They helped map out our self tour in the parks and made it very easy for us. The entrance is literally 5 min down the road (as an aside there is a foot massage place just 2 min down the road that took away ALL our leg and foot pain from our long day of hiking). Hotel was spotless and had lots of little extras, like free washers and dryers, robes, and tea.

One of the best room and it look exactly like the image. 恬恬 (tian tian) has superb service, she helped and answered my question very fast. And so are the rest of the staff too; prompt and fast. Good stay and very helpful. Place is clean and room service is awesome. Location is literally right beside the tourist sport. We booked this room for our little honeymoon getaway. The staff was very reponsive and did their best to accomodate us. All our requests were met, and beyond. The Mu river view room was amazing especially on the sunset. Everything was 💯😍

Stay was very good. If you stay for at least 2 nights they provide complimentary transfer to the hotel from train station/airport which is very handy. Location is quite convenient, just a few minutes’ walk to the middle gate. If you do your research properly, middle gate is not a very popular initial destination but it’s actually closer to Bailong elevator and hallelujah mountains, so we found it quite convenient to move around and avoid crowds. You can also go to other gates using taxis. Room was spacious, modern, simple but has all you need after a full day of hike! Breakfast was good. It starts at about 7:30 but you could try ask if there is anything ready earlier if you want a head start to the park. They don’t offer lunch/dinner but there are some restaurants nearby just a couple of minutes walk which are ok. Host was communicative. We talked before coming to China, he got us tickets for the national forest at a discounted rate. In person they were nice, speaking English and helping out. Overall we don’t have any complaints, we would definitely consider staying with them again should we come back to ZJ national forest.

Great location, Great Lake view, Clean comfortable room. The downside is  the reception which is not located in the same building. But the service team is available virtually to attend to enquiries.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel near the Avatar Mountains, surrounded by stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made the experience truly special. She took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the national forest, giving us clear and useful details that made planning our visit so much easier. On top of that, she kindly helped us book the tickets in advance, saving us time and ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out and made our trip even more enjoyable. Thanks to her, we were able to fully appreciate the beauty of the area without any worries. Overall, it was a fantastic stay that we will always remember.

We booked a room with Mountain View 4/28 to 4/30/26. Besides the hotel were convenient shops and eateries though the food is not to our liking. Breakfast was nice with varieties. For us, we enjoyed the washer and dryer provided at L5, saving us a lot of time. Very satisfied with our 2-night stay 👍

The staff was awesome , since we arrived They’ve tried to accommodate every single requirement to make our stay superb … and always smiling , breakfast is an experience , you’ll experience all the home made Chinese breakfast with a warm and welcoming good morning !!! Only one tip !! Make sure you chose the right room for your stay , the views over the river are stunning !!
