Spacious and clean rooms, very foreigners friendly bathrooms, free breakfast buffet, 5 minutes away from national park, what else can you ask for? 10/10 experience

This was one of the most pleasant stays I had in the first half of my trip. If you want to explore Zhangjiajie forest park, this is the place to stay. They take care of all accommodations for you, and give you a comprehensive list of activities to choose from that they will book for you. The view from the room was absolutely insane and there is even a pool table in the hall. I had a bad experience with some Russians in this hotel over a laundry dispute, but that’s just how they are and that was in no way the hotels fault. I also feel the need to mention the blueberries from the welcome fruit, they were phenomenal and I look for them everywhere.

One of the best room and it look exactly like the image. 恬恬 (tian tian) has superb service, she helped and answered my question very fast. And so are the rest of the staff too; prompt and fast. Good stay and very helpful. Place is clean and room service is awesome. Location is literally right beside the tourist sport. We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at CONCH – MU River Room and it was absolutely perfect! The room has a stunning view of Orange Isle, and the whole stay felt magical. Staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. We loved the thoughtful touches—unlimited drinks by the front desk, free snacks and essentials, and impeccable housekeeping that followed our requests exactly. The private pool with warm and cold options was a highlight, perfect for both relaxation and fun. Rooms are spotless with high-quality toiletries, cozy robes, and fresh slippers provided. We booked just one night but extended our stay because we didn’t want to leave! Overall, the ambiance, service, and comfort were outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples and special occasions. For couples looking for a romantic escape in Changsha, this is the perfect choice. We’ll treasure these memories forever and can’t wait to come back. ❤️

Stay was very good. If you stay for at least 2 nights they provide complimentary transfer to the hotel from train station/airport which is very handy. Location is quite convenient, just a few minutes’ walk to the middle gate. If you do your research properly, middle gate is not a very popular initial destination but it’s actually closer to Bailong elevator and hallelujah mountains, so we found it quite convenient to move around and avoid crowds. You can also go to other gates using taxis. Room was spacious, modern, simple but has all you need after a full day of hike! Breakfast was good. It starts at about 7:30 but you could try ask if there is anything ready earlier if you want a head start to the park. They don’t offer lunch/dinner but there are some restaurants nearby just a couple of minutes walk which are ok. Host was communicative. We talked before coming to China, he got us tickets for the national forest at a discounted rate. In person they were nice, speaking English and helping out. Overall we don’t have any complaints, we would definitely consider staying with them again should we come back to ZJ national forest.

Very nice room, spacious with a projector screen. The room was clean and well maintained. It had an automatic mahjong table. It was very fun. Nice view from the window.

Had a great stay here at Zhangjiajie Four season Riverside resort hotel beside Baofeng Lake scenic area only 6min drive from east gate of Wulingyuan national park (avatar mountains) 40min drive either Tianmen Mountain (heaven’s cave) and in opposite direction Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon (Glass bridge and zip wire and bungy jump) so a great centre point to stay, nice spacious room and very clean and also used the free laundry facilities, lots of shops and restaurants nearby and also for me just at entrance to hotel an EXCELLENT massage room with lovely lady’s doing an amazing job also got ears cleaned here fabulous

A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

We had a wonderful stay here and the service was great! The location is nice as it is right off the street in front of the river but it is a bit of a walk from the central spots. It is quiet, convenient and not super far so it is still worth it. The breakfast was delicious. The room is beautiful but main concern is that the room feels quite damp which made it uncomfortable. A strong dehumidifier may solve this. Thank you so much! Would stay again
