The service very good. The housekeeping staff who brings us the snack every night during our stay, (A Dan) is very nice & friendly 😊 we loved our stay here will definitely stay here again when we visit Zhangjiajie. Ayi A Dan is very warm and kind, she welcomes us with love and provides us with nice snacks at night. The tour service advisor also provides good service for our trip. The tour guide was kind and outgoing, really friendly to our family and provides us with interesting facts and information about the surrounding areas we visit. The hotel room was very exquisite as the room was very clean and was comforting. The bed sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean with great compliments as well as the cupboards having more condiments which help the experience a lot. Overall, the room was great with comforting condiments and was very clean towards customers and that the laundry room was free which helped us a lot during our stay at the hotel.

We booked a room for 3 persons. Room is spacious. Hotel is by the river. After crossing the river, a short walk will take you to sign gate (entrance of the park). Chinese breakfast is served. Internet in the room is not good. The front desk staff helps us plan the national forest park travel route which is a big plus.

Highly recommend this stay if you’re planning to visit Zhanjiajie which is located at a beautiful location just 2 mins walkable distance from Tianmen mountain cable line A . We booked this stay for 3 nights and got the best service possible . The staff is soo warm and tourist friendly and go out of their way to help their customers . Zhou jiang , the receptionist did his best to help us with our requirements and also helped us buy tourist attraction tickets at cheaper price . Thank you for all the love and hospitality. 10/10

Lokasi hotel sangat baik dan mudah dicari. Berhampiran dengan Xiangxi yang menawan. Apa yang lebih baik ialah terdapat tempat letak kereta yang bebas dan longgokan pengecasan. Walaupun pengecasan perlahan, ia sangat mudah. ​​Ia betul-betul di pintu masuk hotel dan restoran di tingkat bawah hotel.Rasanya sedap dan harga yang berpatutan.Key hotel masih sangat baru.Katilnya memang selesa.Sayang kena rushing,kalau tak nak sangat. tinggal dua hari lagi. Bufet sarapan yang disediakan oleh hotel juga sedap. Lebih baik kalau ada lebih banyak variasi. Nah, kalau saya masih berpeluang melancong ke Wulingyuan, saya akan fikirkan hotel ini dengan segera, dan ia juga hotel yang saya sanggup pilih lain kali.

I booked the Huajin room. It's spacious and like most hotels now, the toilet area is quite open without a proper door for you to lock. Thus it's suitable for couples. For friends travelling together, taking their suite is better as you have a big toilet area divided out with wooden doors and lock for privacy. There's no fridge for the Huajin room. Their suite has everything from weighing scale to fridge. Their service is wonderful though. When I feedback about smelling cigarettes in the morning (I booked the non smoking room in a non smoking floor), they apologised earnestly and offered to change a room. Breakfast choice is okie. Not a big spread but a few options for each type.

Upon arrival, we are warmly welcome by the counter staff~叶子小姐 who assisted me in checking in to the room. She was so kind to give us a free up grade of having 4 beds (1 king, 1 single and 2 single beds instead of my original 3 beds ~ 1 king, 1 double and 1 single) on top of that, she added me in the WeChat to introduce places of interest to visit and to message her if we needed further assistance. The location is good as malls everywhere near hotel. There is also a karaoke at level 4. Use 大众点评网to book the room. We had a good deal of having singing session for a small room for RMB $40.🤫

I paid $191 NZD for 3 nights, pretty good deal! Clean, smart room, looks new, mostly quiet, could hear the hallway noises and some traffic noises (from the 15th floor) but not the next door room noises. Smoking was allowed outside I think, but was not an issue/the room did not stink of cigarettes even though there was an ashtray inside. Staff don’t speak English but with a bit of my Chinese I could communicate with them for the free trip from the West railway station to the hotel (15min car ride away). The bus station was about 10mins walk to catch the 1hr bus to the ZJJ National park, while the Tianmen mountain cable car was maybe 20mins walk away. Some nice restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby too. Would recommend.

Location: Great. It is located in the midway between Wulingyuan bus station and Zhangjiajie-Wulingyuan gate which can reach by walk Service: They are really nice and helpful. They can help booking the Zhangjiajie ticket with discount (advance booking), gave me a map and guided/planned the route in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Room: Clean and nice.

The staff were very efficient at check in which is not always the case within China, they photographed our IDs quickly to register us and gave us our room key. All of the rooms are very quirky and different which is a nice added feature (a nice suprise as to what you will get).

This place is great. The girls at the front desk were nice and always in touch. They spoke English to me when I checked in, which is rare 🫶 I only stayed here for three nights, but if I had the time I would have stayed longer. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was so nice that they upgraded me to a bigger room with a great view of the river. If I ever find myself in this city again, I will definitely stay here. Это место великолепно. I really impressed this hotel. Location is superb. It's inside the walking street area. You can easily find food, drink, tea, coffee etc. here. The room is very clean and convenient. The hotel staff is helpful. Moreover there are free services like laundry, baggage delivery to airport.

Well, let me start with the only good thing about this hotel, 1. Location is very good Other than that; Reception was located in 11th floor, and there was only one elevator available. Which is quite annoying as we had to carry our luggage up to 11th floor, then came back down to the floor where we had to stay which is 3rd floor. Check in experience was super not satisfying. We arrived over 3pm and they said some of our room was not cleaned/ready yet. (Then we finally found out that it wasn’t ready because they had to show it to some random group that we met during checkin time). An argument happened there within my family and staff there. We finally got our room ＞4.30pm. Room was small, luckily it was clean. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you can find other available hotel within this area. Unless others are full and you just want a small room to rest but enjoy other things outside.

It’s conveniently located next to Huangxing Street, only 5-10min walk away. The location is also central to almost all of the famous streets. Very good 5star hotel , rooms are big.

Hotel is about 15 min walk to the south railway station and metro. There really isn’t anything around the hotel to eat or anything besides heading to the railway station. It is away from the city centre. Rooms were spacious and decently cleaned. We had a theme room but the theme mats in the room were not cleaned other than that it was ok. Washroom was a bit small hard to navigate when you have small children coming in and out of the shower. Breakfast was good had good choices. Would stay again but maybe not in a theme room.

We had a wonderful experience! The hotel is top quality for the money and location! We were blown away by the amenities like robot food delivery, washing machine with free detergent, and a beyond delicious breakfast with an incredible variety of food! The location is only a few minutes walk from the train station and metro! English is minimal but that’s ok because the staff was very friendly!

I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.) The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable. Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.

Stayed 3 nights in double room. Expectation/Reality: the room was just as good as what was expected in the pictures. It’s on the 11/10 floor of the apartment building. Security: good security, felt belonging were safe. Hygiene: very clean and cleaned frequently and consistently. Hospitality: the attendants are very competent and know about local attractions and were helpful for all requests. Social Atmosphere: it’s a hotel so it’s not a big social scene, but there is a lounge area where you can sit and read. The location is very close to the cableway and close to the bridge into the downtown area. Highly recommend.

This was the best experience l've ever had in any accomodation. We were looked after so well from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Fang Fang was so helpful with everything and it made our trip so easy. She arranged affordable transport for us everywhere including free pick up from drop off from the train station, helped us plan a trip to suit all our needs as well as book discounted tickets. She offered us tea which was so nice when it was cold outside and was super helpful with every question we had. Communication with her was amazing even when we were out and about. The room was also spacious and breakfast was tasty. The amount of time she spent with us made us feel so special and we will miss it, I’d recommend this place to everyone!

(Foreigners) The hotel is very close to the Tianmenshan cableway station (3 minutes walk), rooms are spacious, clean and new. Awesome (!!) and friendly receptionists who were willing to assist with anything and everything. Breakfast is very good and has many options. Very recommended!

This local hotel is about 15 mins walk from East gate and appears rather new but which still need some final touches. The facade is elaborate and the waiting area with elegant chinese style panels and have a potential to be run as a designer boutique hotel but the place can be a little more tidy. The roof top garden has the view of the mountains not unlike a chinese ink painting but it’s not operating during winter. Most importantly they have big clean rooms for 2 spacious beds with spotless beds and sheets and the two host are very helpful to explain the routes to the national park and also trying their best to explain the the choices of breakfast they serve. 5 stars for their attitude. Ps there is a slope up toward their entrance and not suitable for elderly

What an absolutely incredible place to visit. The staff were amazing, they picked me up from the train station for free and purchased the town entrance tickets at a discounted price. The view from the balcony was fantastic both at day and night time. The staff also helped me book a taxi to my train when leaving and I had left some belongings behind and they ran them to me before the taxi arrived. 5 star service 5 star location. Would highly recommend this the service could not have been better!

Our stay here was good. The girl at reception is very kind and always wants to help, and even gave us a lift to the train station when we left, but you need to ask in advance. The hotel is right next to the scenic area of Furong. Our balcony and room were beautiful- but our mosquito net was broken so the room got very damp. Also there was some mould on the curtain in the bathroom and the chair on the balcony. The breakfast was free and very nice, although the kitchen it is cooked in looks a bit unclean which put me off. There was free snacks but no free water which we have experienced everywhere else in China. It looks beautiful at night. I wish it was cleaner.

We enjoyed our stay in this B&B, near to the Fog Bridge.  The room is extremely huge & spacious, equipped with antique furniture.  Staff “Mo Li” was very hospitable & friendly.  A common verandah is beautiful,  viewing of the river was just amazing especially with the mirrored scenery during the day & also the night lightings from 6pm. A good stroll in the evening round the river was gorgeous.

We are two people travelling from the UK. We had no problems booking on Trip and checking in to the hotel with our passports. The hotel is beautiful with lots of character and charm, even more so when lit up at night by lanterns. There is dark wood and tasteful decorations. There are communal areas to sit. We had booked a standard double but they very kindly upgraded us to the top floor room, which had amazing views of the old town and a balcony with table and chairs. The air conditioning was excellent, the beds comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, it was very clean. The room had a TV, kettle, cups, shampoo & body wash, plugs by both sides of the bed, insect repellent plugs, towels. The hotel page mentions a fitness room but there isn’t one. There is a washing machine for use, as well as laundry detergent. The balcony had a rail we hung the clothes on to try. Our room was on the top floor and there wasn’t a lift - not a problem for us but mentioning it for others. For breakfast, we requested a time and they brought it to the room. We were given a few options to choose from. We had noodles, dumplings, mini banana bread and mini brioche bread. It came with small cartons of milk so we could have instant coffee we had brought ourselves. Above all, the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel owners was wonderful. They were so helpful. We used translate apps and WeChat app to talk. They ordered a comfortable taxi to take us to the train station. They helped carry our bags upstairs. When we checked in, they offered us local snacks containing tofu, rice, peanuts. They can get discounted entrance tickets to the town for you as well - we did not use this and just bought our tickets at the entrance. They sent us useful information via WeChat. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just inside the entrance to the old town, and a few metres from the start of the scenic loop around the town. You can reuse the tickets to go in and out. Lots of restaurants nearby in the scenic area, and a large supermarket very close to the hotel, just outside the scenic area. A short Didi ride from the high speed train station as well. Totally recommend this hotel if you are visiting Furong Ancient Town, especially the lovely people who run it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret! The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

We had a big room with a very big bed. The bathroom was big with a self-flushing toilet and toilet seat warmer! One wall of the room was just glass so we had a good view out, over some old roofs and windows, and a far view of lovely builidings on a hill. We had a long and narrow balcony with a view of the river, pagoda and bridges. Right below was the bustling street scene near the Hong Qiaio (Rainbow Bridge). The balcony has a couple of hanging bubble seats and even a small table and chairs. Just perfect for viewing the amazing night scenery and people-watch. (Based on an earlier review, we knew the noise stopped at 11.30pm so we had good nights' sleep). We were very comfortable and happy with our room. It was just a short walk from the shops outside the Ancient Town, so we could enjoy both sides of Feng Huang. The entrance to the hostel is hidden behind a costume rental shop, so it's a little tricky to find. The hostel also has a water dispenser for filling up water bottles. All I can say is the location is just the best for watching the comings and goings in the streets, with easy access for walking along the riverside, pagoda, bridges, viewing the performances on the river...yet near enough to pop into our comfy room to recharge.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room is very clean, comfortable, perfectly located. Hot shower and heating worked perfectly. The view is very beautiful. The boss is very enthusiastic. He helped us get the entrance tickets, picked us up for free at the train station, and stored our luggage for the day after checking out. Definitely recommend it!

Oda was very accommodating and made sure that my stay was as good as could be. I originally had trouble finding the hotel, but Oda went out to find me after I made a call to the hotel. The location is right in the scenic area and has one of the best views of the Furong waterfall. It was an added bonus that I was given a free room upgrade since it was available for the day that I was staying there. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Tianquan Inn for my short trip to Furong Town.

Pros- Great location by the river, beautiful and close walking distance to the food shops, famous bridges and the red lady singing on the boat (5-10mins). Clean warm room. Bit of scuff marks and stuff on the walls and wooden furnitures but overall charming, nice and modern and no like stinky smells from the river/mosquitoes/cigarettes etc. Warm showers and has all the standard amenities (hairdryer, soap shampoo, shaver etc). The manager is super friendly and hospitable even though she doesn’t speak English she really tries her best to help. Cons- noisy bars and karaoke until 11pm, tour groups in the morning start like at 7am below the balcony (maybe one or two when I was there 2 days) and 9am construction work starts. The free tour is sadly in Chinese only, and the free outfit doesn’t include photos or makeup, it is about 199 yuan for that but if you don’t want photos or makeup it’s free. Don’t think they wash the outfits super often either. Laundry is apparently not a proper one and you have to hand wash. No lifts if you have a lot of luggage.

The hotel is close to the Fog bridge in the Fenghuang ancient city. My room has the river view and two balconies, which is excellent for night view of the city. The room is spacious enough for four adults, but needs to share for one bathroom. The breakfast buffet only offered a simple Chinese breakfast with limited varieties. The hotel room was quiet at night time. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The restaurant was excellent and offered authentic Hunan style food. Overall, this hotel experience was excellent.
