I had a 2 night stay at Somerset City Center Atyrau (21-23 June, 2023). Arrived at midnight and had a quick check in at the front desk, front desk team was very welcoming and extremely polite. The room was perfectly clean and prepared, it was so relevant, especially after a tiring trip. Welcome set up cheered up my ”do to bed” mood and made me stay up until 02:00 night, as I enjoyed the view from the terrace, which opened a picturesque view of the City. The king size bed was so cozy and comfy, I had a great sleep. In the morning, the breakfast was served in all day dining restaurant and with an excellent service, I was offered a coffee (cappuccino) for a little extra and I accepted it with pleasure. A wide variety of vegetables and fruits and of course hot dishes including omelette, fried and boiled eggs, boiled and fried sausages, garnish, fried fish and cold cuts. Can not list them all, as I only had an omelette with vegetables. By the way, I was greeted by Mr. Zakaria Tamni, a Hotel General Manager during the breakfast and he was checking to make sure that my stay was ok and if there were anything else they could do to make my stay more comfortable. It was indeed unexpected and I was taken aback with this five-star attitude. Had a number of business meetings during the day at the Bar and it was indeed a good spot for private and business meetings. During my meetings, I needed a Business Center service, namely, to print out a number of pages for my presentation and had a quick and professional service from Ruslan, who is, I believe, in charge for Front of the House Services. He is a polite, helpful lad, with a professional attitude. For lunch I ordered a Room Service and had a beef medallion, fresh salad and diet coke, it was served quick and the only thing worth mentioning, the room service attendant forgot my diet coke and it was delivered later, but the rest was perfect. The quality of food was great (check out the pics). Bathrooms, toilets and other bathroom amenities were of high quality, hygiene was perfect, air conditioning other in room facilities were up to my expectation. After my last meeting in town, I was in a great hurry to hotel to collect my belongings as I was late for my flight. I asked Front Desk attendants to organize a drop off service to the airport and needed a hand to collect my luggage from my room. To my surprise, Andrey and Maga, hotel operation Managers came to my room to give a hand with my luggage. I had a feeling of care, security, safety and comfort, shortly I felt home away from home. Overall, it was a great stay, a Big thank you to all Hotel Team, highly recommended Hotel, as it is value for money with five-star service.

I have been staying here on and off for 6 years. It has always been great. This was my last stay here as im returning home and will not be returning. So, a special shout out to Dariya at the front desk.who gave me a upgrade and a tasty cheese player and beverage sent to my room.simply the best and highly recommended hotel

Хороший отель. Удобное расположение, чистые комфортные номера, хороший завтрак. Особое спасибо ребятам с ресепшена за доверие - не выставили на улицу, когда возникли проблемы с оплатой проживания, и менеджеру Екатерине за содействие в решении этой проблемы. Приезжающим из РФ информация из горького опыта - никакие российские карточки (и даже Мир) в Атырау нигде не работают и не принимаются (что бы ни говорили по телевизору и в интернете). Запасайтесь наличкой. Пожелание администрации отеля - заведите в контактах номер для связи по whatsup, viber, telegram. Далеко не у всех приезжающих в Атырау из других стран есть возможность связаться с отелем по мобильному или городскому телефону, а связаться через интернет по wi-fi в аэропорту тоже нет возможности. У меня был заказан трансфер из аэропорта в отель и указан российский номер МТС для связи. Но в Казахстане МТС не работает и поэтому даже к бесплатной сети wi-fi в аэропорту не подключиться (требуется смс-регистрация). В итоге, водитель (если он был) не мог до меня дозвониться, а написать табличку с именем и фамилией (которые были указаны в заявке) он, видимо, не догадался... и я не смог связаться с отелем, даже подключившись к wi-fi с другого номера. Если бы у отеля был номер привязанный к whatsup, viber, telegram, то эта проблема бы легко решилась, а так мне пришлось ехать втридорога с частным таксистом.

Very popular with business travellers in the energy industry this hotel is located right on the river. There are a number of restaurants in close walking distance. The best thing about this property was they kindly upgraded me to a large apartment. The second best thing is the proces are extremely reasonable if you’re on a corporate rate. As for the opportunities for improvement, it was strange that they only give you one towel for your bathroom. I called reception to ask for a 2nd one and was told it’s not possible. So I waited until later and spoke to reception a 2nd time, explaining a needed 2 towels - again it was clear this was not something they do. That in itself earns the hotel a 3* review. They also only supplied three flat pillows and I only got the 4th pillow sent up on 2nd request. The other annoyance was the internal heating. When I arrived my room temp was 27C. Only after I shut the heating off, and open windows (-10C outside) could I get the temp down to a level where it was comfortable to sleep. Maybe it’s a cultural issue but the heating is set way too high. The other area for improvement is in food service. If you order a meal don’t assume all items will arrive at the same time, as you would expect. Only one of the two lifts were working causing delays during bus6 periods. What I liked was good little mini bar in reception area and nice spa with very inexpensive massage service.

Были проездом и остановились в этом отеле. Все хорошо, есть все кроме :фена!!! А номер сутки стоил :51 000. Спасибо администратору, что разрешили выехать на 2 часа позже. Рядом с отелем удобно, есть тц, бургер кинг, детская площадка, парковка.

Bin schon mehrfach hier abgestiegen: klassisches Familienhotel in einer gehobenen Wohngegend am Fluss, sehr ruhige Lage (wenn Nachbars Hunde nicht bellen). Dabei 10 min bis zum Flughafen und 10 min ins Zentrum - das Taxi kostet in beide Richtungen unter 1000 Tenge. Reichhaltiges lokales Frühstück, im Keller große Sauna mit Pool. Und vor der Tür steht immer noch ein riesiges Lenin-Denkmal🤗

I was booked into the hotel by the company I work for. I extended my stay here for the whole duration of the time required for work related stuff. The rooms are superb, more of a small comfortable apartment with a very adequate kitchen space , small dining table for two , a lovely open plan living room with 50” tv & a spacious bedroom with lots of storage space . Big king size bed & very comfortable!! The bathroom is just as nice. The hote supply you with lots of toiletries. Everything you need. This hotel is way underrated. The gym sauna swimming pool & steam room are excellent & only a 2 minute walk away. The staff could not be any nicer they have all been great for the duration of my stay. This hotel goes highly recommended for its fantastic value for money .
