I booked this hotel by accident and last minute, but fortunately the hotel was amazing, reasonable price, complete facilities, and make my stay amazing and comfort. all the hectic days in airport was gone. this hotel very recommended if you want layover a while to Fuzhou Airport.

* The hotel is situated in great location, with convenient access to Gulangyu. * The staff were generally helpful, particularly in the all-day dining restaurant, where they were attentive—especially towards young children. * Only downside experience was during breakfast, when a staff kept sweeping the floor under our table twice while we were dining, which is not the standard expected for any five-star hotels.

Staying at the Kempinski Xiamen was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable, the hotel kindly accommodated a late check-out request, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. I would especially like to commend Gary at the reception desk, who was outstanding: kind, efficient, and highly professional. That said, my check-in experience was somewhat inconsistent, as one staff member was overly rigid and conducted passport checks in a manner of an immigration officer, although I hold a valid residence permit. Following a brief clarification, communication became limited for the remainder of the process. Overall, however, the positive aspects of the stay far outweighed this minor issue.

The location is superb, and they give you souvenirs for your stay if you book through trip. but that was it. The facilities are old, which is pretty much expected. Hotel Service was soso. One of their staff was rude, while the others were nice. So I cant say its excellent service. Given the miscommunication between Trip.com and the hotel, the room type i booked actually only has internal view or no view at all. The details on trip said it's city view, so I was expecting to see some nice views of Quanzhou when i went into the room. Much to my dismay, all i see are blocks (picture attached). As the hotel is old, their lighting system is dark. Additionally, the views are blocked, so the room is even darker. I managed to change to another room, but still, no nice view. With all disappointment, I reflected my situation to Trip com CS and they are very responsive and helpful. They changed the description for this room type in just a few days.

I had a wonderful stay at Marco Polo Xiamen. The overall experience exceeded expectations, with excellent service and well-maintained facilities throughout the property. A special highlight was the Club Lounge access. It truly elevated the stay, offering a comfortable environment, great food and beverage selections, and a more exclusive, relaxed atmosphere compared to the main areas of the hotel. It’s definitely worth opting for if you want a more premium experience. I would also like to give special recognition to Betty, who provided exceptional service during my stay. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely went out of her way to ensure everything was taken care of. Her professionalism and friendliness made a noticeable difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers. Looking forward to staying here again.

Overall, a good hotel good place for a price staff is very cordial and helpful. I stayed one night and found it to be comfortable room for nice and clean air conditioning was working. Breakfast was decent.

I had a pleasant and satisfactory stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou. The rooms are very spacious, and I especially liked the clever sliding divider that allows you to separate the bathroom area when needed. Breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was prompt and efficient. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with the metro entrance just a 3-minute walk away.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Haloyon Villa. The mountain views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect. This was a large property and guests got around on buggy cars- that along with the path in the back and playgrounds kept my two year old son sufficiently entertained. The staff were incredibly attentive and Fiona, Jeff, and Xiao Wu were very helpful. Overall, we had a good experience.

We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday, and we loved every second of it! The hotel prepared a cake for her and took care of us really well during our stay. The view is spectacular and the food is great. This is our second time staying, and we would love to come back!

Coffee machines at breakfast need attention. It took 3x assistance to clean and fix the machine for one single cup of coffee. Otherwise all was excellent.
