Hotel ini sangat baru dan kakitangannya sangat bersemangat. Sejak kami dipindahkan dari Quanzhou, bagasi kami agak bersepah. Apabila kami tiba di hotel, kakitangan concierge sangat bertimbang rasa. Kakitangan meja depan Xiaoling memberikan perkhidmatan yang sangat baik. Saudara kakitangan restoran bufet Wang Linxuan sangat bersemangat. Dia mengesyorkan tempat yang patut dikunjungi kepada kami setiap hari dan dengan bersemangat memperkenalkan hidangan istimewa restoran kepada kami. Pendek kata, ia sangat bagus dan pengalaman daftar masuk adalah sempurna. Terima kasih sekali lagi kepada kakitangan hotel, mereka sangat bersemangat~

Coupl We had a fantastic stay at the Kempinski and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The hotel is perfectly located, with a stunning view of the lake, which was especially enchanting at night. Watching the moonlight dance on the water while relaxing at the hotel was truly magical. The staff were so warm and accommodating, but we’d like to give a special mention to Scott. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his friendly nature really made us feel at home. Breakfast was a real treat. The buffet had a great variety of options, and we were always excited to see what was on offer each morning. We particularly loved the apple oatmeal – it became a must-have for us during our stay! One of the highlights of the trip was strolling around the lake together. It was so peaceful and refreshing, and the scenic walk added such a lovely touch to our mornings. All in all, our stay at Kempinski was perfect. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and grateful for the amazing service and beautiful surroundings. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch service and views to match!

The location is superb, and they give you souvenirs for your stay if you book through trip. but that was it. The facilities are old, which is pretty much expected. Hotel Service was soso. One of their staff was rude, while the others were nice. So I cant say its excellent service. Given the miscommunication between Trip.com and the hotel, the room type i booked actually only has internal view or no view at all. The details on trip said it's city view, so I was expecting to see some nice views of Quanzhou when i went into the room. Much to my dismay, all i see are blocks (picture attached). As the hotel is old, their lighting system is dark. Additionally, the views are blocked, so the room is even darker. I managed to change to another room, but still, no nice view. With all disappointment, I reflected my situation to Trip com CS and they are very responsive and helpful. They changed the description for this room type in just a few days.

Hotel is nested in a non-crowded street but just a 10-15mins taxi ride to the Zhongshan Pedestrian Street. Personally I do not like to stay in crowded area so this hotel is good for ne. The rating of 4 on location is purely for reviewers to know the location.

來福州旅遊，選擇了老五星酒店，除了驚喜還是驚喜，富麗堂皇的大堂讓人眼前一亮，地理位置也很好，去福道，三坊七巷很方便，軟件很給力，大堂服務員都會主動問候，迎來送往，尤其是大堂經理小黃，熱情專業，給了我茉莉花茶伴手禮，太喜歡了

Overall, a good hotel good place for a price staff is very cordial and helpful. I stayed one night and found it to be comfortable room for nice and clean air conditioning was working. Breakfast was decent.

Great rooms, clean, and modern. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Strong shower. Only fault would be the fridge does not get cold enough. Mrs Leung was very hospitable and a credit to the hotel.

As frequent leisure travellers from Australia, this was our second stay at this hotel during this trip, and we remain exceptionally pleased with our overall experience. Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to a vast selection of excellent dining, from local noodle shops to hot pot and barbecue. A metro station providing affordable access to the city centre and beyond is conveniently located just 800 meters away (and is free for those over 65 regardless of nationality). For guests with mobility concerns, we highly recommend DiDi (online taxi service), which we found to be an equally affordable and highly convenient alternative for city travel. Staff Service: The hotel staff consistently demonstrated outstanding hospitality. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in and proactively providing airport transfer information before our arrival. This high level of service extended to the pleasant breakfast staff and the cleaning personnel, who offered warm and welcoming greetings each morning. Laundry & Amenities: The availability of complimentary and assisted laundry service was a major advantage. This amenity proved highly convenient and essential during our 16-day trip covering Fuzhou and the surrounding area of Pingtan. Room Quality & Layout: We were very satisfied with the room's upkeep. It was meticulously cleaned, and the bed sheets, towels, and linens (including pillows) were all immaculately maintained—a crucial factor in our selection criteria. Furthermore, the room's layout was highly practical and luggage-friendly, featuring a logical and efficient arrangement of amenities. In conclusion, we are highly satisfied with our selection and would unreservedly return to this hotel on any future visit to the city.

Nothing to complain as it's well maintained/efficient and is your standard 5 star hotel (with a view of the Jinjiang River fireworks on NYE). Perhaps we were biased coming from Kaipuu Belfry which was located in West Street so while Intercontinental was also about a 25 minutes pleasant walk from the estuary Harbor sites (Zhenwu Temple / WenxingGong) which are also UNESCO sites , nothing beats the location of the former hotel! Aesthetically, we were not fans of the multi color lighted facade at night but that's just a personal preference. Special mention to Fay of the front desk for good service.

Perfect location to visit the nearby wuyishan park, in nature but still close to everything you need. Very good breakfast and nice staff. Peaceful place but would use a bit of refreshing.
