I booked this hotel by accident and last minute, but fortunately the hotel was amazing, reasonable price, complete facilities, and make my stay amazing and comfort. all the hectic days in airport was gone. this hotel very recommended if you want layover a while to Fuzhou Airport.

We had a very nice room with a fantastic view of gulangyu. The hotel room was clean and nice. The location is very good and close to ZhongShanLu. A lot of restaurants and shops are around the corner. The hotel staff were polite and friendly.

Coupl We had a fantastic stay at the Kempinski and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The hotel is perfectly located, with a stunning view of the lake, which was especially enchanting at night. Watching the moonlight dance on the water while relaxing at the hotel was truly magical. The staff were so warm and accommodating, but we’d like to give a special mention to Scott. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his friendly nature really made us feel at home. Breakfast was a real treat. The buffet had a great variety of options, and we were always excited to see what was on offer each morning. We particularly loved the apple oatmeal – it became a must-have for us during our stay! One of the highlights of the trip was strolling around the lake together. It was so peaceful and refreshing, and the scenic walk added such a lovely touch to our mornings. All in all, our stay at Kempinski was perfect. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and grateful for the amazing service and beautiful surroundings. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch service and views to match!

The location is superb, and they give you souvenirs for your stay if you book through trip. but that was it. The facilities are old, which is pretty much expected. Hotel Service was soso. One of their staff was rude, while the others were nice. So I cant say its excellent service. Given the miscommunication between Trip.com and the hotel, the room type i booked actually only has internal view or no view at all. The details on trip said it's city view, so I was expecting to see some nice views of Quanzhou when i went into the room. Much to my dismay, all i see are blocks (picture attached). As the hotel is old, their lighting system is dark. Additionally, the views are blocked, so the room is even darker. I managed to change to another room, but still, no nice view. With all disappointment, I reflected my situation to Trip com CS and they are very responsive and helpful. They changed the description for this room type in just a few days.

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. As a foreigner with limited mandarin, the staff who didnt doeak any english, were available practically 24/7 offering to help me get around town through translating on wechat, answering my questions by text or wechat, helping me with the apps, helping me order online, communicating with organizers to arrange tours, rides etc. Location is great because close to beach and public transportation is pretty convenient, but you can get anywhere with the taxi and didi. They can stop right at the zhengcun an entrance for drop offs or pick ups. Room is clean and spacious. Recommend this place for the great client service and their friendly faces. Superbly located in a quiet leafy neighborhood next to a beautiful lake (good for birdwatching during spring). Very well maintained hotel premise - despite its 3-decade old history - kudos to hotel management. The central atrium is impressive with a nice historical mural, ideal for a delightful afternoon coffee or evening cocktail. Has a 15m open-air pool that is open throughout the year (a rare gem in Xiamen) - sparklingly clean water, refreshingly cool, with nice view of the lake through the pool terrace. Adjacent to hotel is a cosy bar / F&B enclave - offering a variety of foodie options. The on-premise Italian and fusion-Vietnamese restaurants are very popular among locals and tourists alike.

Overall, a good hotel good place for a price staff is very cordial and helpful. I stayed one night and found it to be comfortable room for nice and clean air conditioning was working. Breakfast was decent.

I had a pleasant and satisfactory stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou. The rooms are very spacious, and I especially liked the clever sliding divider that allows you to separate the bathroom area when needed. Breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was prompt and efficient. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with the metro entrance just a 3-minute walk away.

We booked the two-storey villa and truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery within the hotel grounds, as well as the excellent service. From the doorman, restaurant staff, electrician, to the drivers — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thanks to our Butler, Xiao Fang. She is such a lovely and caring lady — incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive. No matter what we requested, she always did her best to assist. I changed my boat-ride schedule multiple times, and she handled everything with so much patience and professionalism. Xiao Fang truly made our holiday more enjoyable and completely hassle-free. We would love to come back to this hotel again.

We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday, and we loved every second of it! The hotel prepared a cake for her and took care of us really well during our stay. The view is spectacular and the food is great. This is our second time staying, and we would love to come back!
