I booked this hotel by accident and last minute, but fortunately the hotel was amazing, reasonable price, complete facilities, and make my stay amazing and comfort. all the hectic days in airport was gone. this hotel very recommended if you want layover a while to Fuzhou Airport.

* The hotel is situated in great location, with convenient access to Gulangyu. * The staff were generally helpful, particularly in the all-day dining restaurant, where they were attentive—especially towards young children. * Only downside experience was during breakfast, when a staff kept sweeping the floor under our table twice while we were dining, which is not the standard expected for any five-star hotels.

Staying at the Kempinski Xiamen was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable, the hotel kindly accommodated a late check-out request, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. I would especially like to commend Gary at the reception desk, who was outstanding: kind, efficient, and highly professional. That said, my check-in experience was somewhat inconsistent, as one staff member was overly rigid and conducted passport checks in a manner of an immigration officer, although I hold a valid residence permit. Following a brief clarification, communication became limited for the remainder of the process. Overall, however, the positive aspects of the stay far outweighed this minor issue.

The location is perfect for city walks. You can walk to all the attractions by foot or take the two-yuan white shuttle. Breakfast is very nice. Chefs onsite to ensure food quality and service. Impressed. The hotel is the first five-star hotel in the city. My friend was a front-desk when it was opened in 1989. I heard that the hotel was extremely selective in recruitment and that the training was top-notch back then. The hotel could use some renovation to give it a modern look, although the heritage style is fine with me. Sweet welcome present in the room. Fruits (pears and oranges) available for guests going back to rooms. What I like the most is the friendliness of all staff. The housekeeper wrote me a warm message. Nice surprise! I had a blister after three days of city walk. I phoned the front desk, seeking advice. Within five minutes, a staff came to my room with Povidone-iodine and bandages. She explained how to use the povidone-iodine sticks. She talked to me like a caring family member, not just a job. I would definitely stay here in my next trip.

I had a wonderful stay at Marco Polo Xiamen. The overall experience exceeded expectations, with excellent service and well-maintained facilities throughout the property. A special highlight was the Club Lounge access. It truly elevated the stay, offering a comfortable environment, great food and beverage selections, and a more exclusive, relaxed atmosphere compared to the main areas of the hotel. It’s definitely worth opting for if you want a more premium experience. I would also like to give special recognition to Betty, who provided exceptional service during my stay. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely went out of her way to ensure everything was taken care of. Her professionalism and friendliness made a noticeable difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers. Looking forward to staying here again.

Overall, a good hotel good place for a price staff is very cordial and helpful. I stayed one night and found it to be comfortable room for nice and clean air conditioning was working. Breakfast was decent.

Writing this 5 stars review to the concierge 小康， he is the only person who are friendly and helpful during my stay. I was first given a room with bad smoking smell although I asked for the non-smoking room. He instantly went down to change another room for me. And for the following 2 days, he was extremely helpful and polite to help me with my enquiries. The service from the front desk staffs were so unkind. I asked for the direction to the city, their responses were so unprofessional and rude. Not even look at me by saying: ”这个我不是很清楚，你自己查一下”. All of them had no greeting to the guests at all. Unprofessional! As for the room service: the picture updated was their standard on how to keeping the towel after cleaning Will not return to this hotel any more. However, writing this to thank Xiao Kang for his service.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Haloyon Villa. The mountain views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect. This was a large property and guests got around on buggy cars- that along with the path in the back and playgrounds kept my two year old son sufficiently entertained. The staff were incredibly attentive and Fiona, Jeff, and Xiao Wu were very helpful. Overall, we had a good experience.

We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday, and we loved every second of it! The hotel prepared a cake for her and took care of us really well during our stay. The view is spectacular and the food is great. This is our second time staying, and we would love to come back!

Coffee machines at breakfast need attention. It took 3x assistance to clean and fix the machine for one single cup of coffee. Otherwise all was excellent.
