I chose this hotel for a trip with my parents and child, and the whole family was very satisfied! The hotel has accessible ramps and elevators, making it convenient for the elderly to move around. The room was spacious, and even with an extra small bed, it didn't feel cramped. They also provided children's slippers and toothbrushes, showing great attention to detail. For breakfast, there was soft, easy-to-digest congee and light side dishes suitable for the elderly, as well as sandwiches and juice that the kids loved. A park is right next to the hotel, which was perfect for morning strolls with my parents. In the evenings, it was safe to take the kids to play in the square. The front desk staff also recommended attractions suitable for both the elderly and children, making our itinerary relaxed and enjoyable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

A wonderful stay with exceptional service We had a very enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Xiamen Jimei Seaview. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed and very comfortable, with lovely sea views and excellent facilities. Our room was fantastic, and we were very grateful for the generous upgrade. The hotel also prepared a lovely anniversary surprise for us, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed the evening turndown service, something we do not encounter very often and which added a nice five-star touch to the stay. The dinner buffet was another highlight. We were impressed by both the quality and variety of the food. The 22nd-floor Executive Lounge also deserves a special mention. It is a beautiful space with wonderful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. We took quite a few photos because we enjoyed the setting so much, and it is definitely somewhere we would recommend other guests experience. Most importantly, we would like to specifically recognise Merry. She was exceptional throughout our stay — warm, professional, patient and genuinely attentive. From helping with our room arrangements to checking on us throughout the stay, we always felt that she sincerely cared about our experience. Service like this makes a significant difference and is one of the main things we will remember about this hotel. The only area that fell short for us was the Level 5 swimming pool and health club. During our stay, the pool was extremely crowded due to external swimming activities, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to use. This was particularly disappointing as the swimming pool, gym and sauna were among the reasons we specifically chose this hotel for a stay during several rainy days. However, after we shared our experience with the hotel, our feedback was received with genuine concern and handled extremely professionally. We appreciated that very much and hope management can improve this aspect, because the quality of the leisure facilities should match the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel. Overall, despite this one area for improvement, we leave with very positive memories of our stay. The modern rooms, sea views, excellent food, beautiful Executive Lounge and, above all, the outstanding hospitality we received made this a hotel we would happily consider returning to. Initially, I thought it was just an average hotel, nothing spectacular. However, the service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. Check-in was fast and efficient. When they heard we were tourists, they proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions. After completing the check-in process, the front desk manager personally escorted us to the guest room elevators, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon entering the room, there was a plate of welcome fruit on the table. Taking a bite, it was sweet to the taste and warmed my heart. When I requested a few extra bottles of water, a robot promptly delivered them. Throughout the hallways, lobby, and restaurant, the staff consistently greeted us with smiles. Before check-out, Ms. He at the front desk kindly asked if our stay was satisfactory and offered us several bottles of mineral water, suggesting we take them for our journey due to the hot weather. You could truly feel their genuine care. From check-in to check-out, I consistently experienced the warmth of the staff. Although I hadn't heard of this hotel before, after staying here, I genuinely felt that staying at a Junlan Hotel gives you a wonderful sense of home!

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

Our family stay with the kids was fantastic! They even upgraded us for free, which was a nice surprise. The room was really spacious, and the bed was huge. Plus, the hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities. There are supermarkets and snack stalls nearby, making it super convenient for getting around with little ones. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and definitely our top choice for family travel!

Serene Twin Room, 45 sqm, two 1.2-meter beds. While this is an entry-level room category at Chunpo, the core experience wasn't compromised. The pros: The butler service was very responsive, and the shuttle carts were always on demand. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the Zixi rice noodles and local snacks. Standard amenities included a Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, and Dahongpao tea bags. The room was clean and tidy. However, there were real issues: The soundproofing was poor. Noise from the hallway and doors opening and closing carried right into the room. Late at night, we could clearly hear guests with kids returning, with both adults and children talking loudly in the corridor. By 6:00 AM the next morning, we could hear other guests pacing around in their rooms, which practically forced us to get up and leave. This room type doesn't offer a view of Dawang Peak—the window view was disappointing. Given the behavior of the neighboring guests, I wouldn't choose this room type again; next time, I'd pay extra to upgrade to a higher tier or a villa.

The front desk staff, especially Xiao Yi, was truly exceptional. She was incredibly efficient, hardworking, and attentive. Her reception of guests was warm and thorough, and her demeanor was gentle and friendly. I had several questions that needed answering, and she didn't just brush them off; instead, she explained each one in detail and even proactively offered thoughtful reminders about various considerations. She handled tasks in an organized and swift manner, resolving issues without guests needing to constantly follow up. She treated every guest equally, maintaining a patient and kind service attitude at all times. Her service was both professional and empathetic. It's rare to find such an outstanding and thoughtful staff member; I truly felt her dedication. Highly recommended, full marks!

The hotel's location isn't ideal; you'll need to take a taxi to get anywhere. However, it's right across from the Jinjiang River and next to Xunpu Village. Since taxis are convenient and affordable, this isn't a major issue. During holidays, it's very crowded, and we had to wait until past 1 PM for our room. Those traveling with seniors and children should be prepared. You can store your luggage and go out to explore first. I stayed here two years ago, and the service and facilities were excellent. The executive lounge offered freshly made cocktails, and the beef noodles were delicious. The breakfast even had grouper porridge. To my surprise, this time, the breakfast was quite disappointing. The grouper porridge was replaced with Mianxian paste, and they said they adjust the menu regularly. Why not adjust the steamed dim sum? The meatballs at the noodle station were subpar. The vegetable dishes were mediocre, and the fried noodles were unappetizing; you couldn't even pick them up with tongs. Only the pastries and bread maintained their quality. The main reason I used to stay at InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG—the grouper porridge—is now gone. I might consider other hotels with better locations and prices in the future.

During my trip to Xiamen in November, I stayed at Swiss International Hotel and chose a sea-view room directly facing Gulangyu Island, which added a touch of tender warmth to the entire journey. The hotel service was enthusiastic, attentive, and exceptionally courteous. Opening the window revealed the vast blue sea, with Gulangyu Island standing quietly in the distance, offering charming views from dawn to dusk. By day, you can watch the sea breeze gently sweeping across the island; at night, upon returning from an evening stroll and sitting leisurely by the window, you can gaze out at the twinkling lights of Gulangyu in the nightscape. As the hustle and bustle faded away, a deep sense of peace filled the heart. The hotel breakfast was rich and palatable, and the dinner buffet was quite commendable. Boasting a prime location overlooking the island across the sea, the stay was relaxing and comfortable. Should I visit Xiamen again, I would gladly choose to stay here once more.
