The Chic Lipe is as it's name suggests chic and luxurious for a hostel. The private rooms are super spacious, some of the largest we've seen in a hostel, and come with a really modern bathroom and design. We loved the concrete walls and wooden interiors. The common area on the ground floor is also very spacious, has plenty of room to sit and chill and even 2 pool tables if you fancy a game. We were here in low season so it was very, very quiet but can imagine this place will be buzzing in high season. The breakfast was a choice of either western style or Thai style with both being good but we preferred the Thai style. We also hired the bikes for a day, but they are a bit old and not ideal for the hills on the island but all in all we still enjoyed using them for a day and would do this again. If you're on a budget on Koh Lipe this is definitely the place to be.

5 night stay here on beautiful Koh Lipe. Room was clean, spacious and a decent price but I feel there is some room for improvement. Room was cleaned each time to we hangered to do so but we were never given any fresh towels, I’d expect a hotel to change them at least once during our 5 nights? Upon check in we were given a cold glass of orange juice (nice touch) and then taken to our room. A little lack of awareness from the staff to only help carry our smallest lightest bags, could have helped with one of our big heavy rucksacks instead to make a clear guest service impression. Breakfast was included but was quite limited, only a few sandwich options or muesli options. Coffee was nice though. Staff were pretty distant and impersonal throughout, even on check out - no ‘was everything ok for you’ questions or goodbyes. However, it is a good option if you want a clean hotel with convenience, as it is on walking street, close to the beaches and surprisingly quiet given its location.

The design of the pool in the courtyard area of the rooms. Rooms were basic but you can’t really complain about it for that price. Staff were friendly and location is in between the night market stretch and the ferry port on the end. There’s a well stocked 7-11 just outside the parking area which is a 2 minute walk away. The water pressure was on the low side but usable. Would be nice to have an extra floor mat for the entrance after using the pool.

Arrived on 30 sep after a long drive from Singapore. For the price, im very pleased. It is very spanking clean. A small establishment, worth to support them. My review may also be skewered coz i think the owners are cat lovers haha so If you love cats come and support them! We were able to park our car securely in their premises (gates closed in the evening). Simple, but near to various shops, eatery, a great massage place and 5min walk frm the pier for those heading to Koh Lipe. This is not a fancy hotel, but really a good choice for short stays and proximity to many places. Also near to the view point and beach!

This review is strictly for the restaurant across the street from the Green Hotel. I believe there are at least two businesses using the name Nội on the island; and I did not sleep at either only eat in the restaurant. Because the Green Hotel is a decent walk from walking street and the mass of eateries in that general area I began to look for closer options to avoid that long, dirty, uphill walk dodging motorbikes. I has seen a sign advertising smoothies outside the Nội across from my hotel so I walked over there at lunch. As I approached the entrance a female employee stepped in front of me to block me and asked where did I think I was going. I had seen her earlier on the road when she sideswiped me with her motorbike. I told her to move; she did. I removed my sandals for the common no shoes rule on the island and a very friendly girl manning the front desk ask if she could help me. I asked if it was possible to get a smoothie and she smiled “of course” and took my order. As I sat down the unfriendly employee with the bun maybe tied a little too tight on her head passed my table and glared at me. I finished my delicious smoothie which came out relatively quick, and while I was paying for it I inquired about breakfast for the next morning. The friendly girl showed me a menu and said “yes please join us.” I returned the next day and had a delicious, very affordable breakfast (150 baht) that came out in 15 minutes with a nearly full dining room. I told the girl I was very happy and I would be back the next morning. Later that day I had an urge for another smoothie and went back across the street from my hotel. I sat down at an available table and as I looked up the unfriendly bun headed girl who I’m pretty sure isn’t a server was asking me what I wanted. I began to speak in English as I had on my two previous visits and she began to shake her head no angrily “no no no.” I asked what her problem was, picked up a menu and began pointing at pictures to explain what I wanted while she continued to glare at me and shake her head “no, no.” I I noticed the Thai owner was in the room and I began to raise my voice louder to indicate I didn’t appreciate this angry employee in my face but the Thai owner showed no interest in what was happening. Suddenly the problem employee speaks English and she goes and gives my order to the kitchen. Because of her behavior I changed my breakfast plans for the next morning and went elsewhere. I’m nearing the end of three months travel through Vietnam and Thailand and this was the worst experience I had; nothing else comes close. Clearly she feels overly confident with her job security. We loved everything: the location very close to the walking street and central in Lipe, the cleanliness and the lovely dog and cat living there. Thanks for offering us everyday coffee and tea, biscuits, bottles of water and fruit. Thanks for your warm welcoming, we really felt like at home. We enjoyed our holiday so much and we suggest your Place to everyone going to Koh Lipe. We hope to come back and visit you again in the future. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, safe, we also used once the laundry service, cheap and quick. Thanks for everything and hopefully see you soon. เตียงนอนเป็นเตียงใหญ่สามารถมาพักสองคนได้ ไม่ไกลจากถนนคนเดินมาก มีรถมอไซค์รับส่งที่หน้าห้องพัก กิโลละ50บาท แต่ห้องจะเป็นแบบไม่กั้นนะคะ เพราะใช้แอร์ร่วมกัน เหมาะสำหรับสายประหยัดนะ ห้องน้ำร่วม โดยร่วมถึงว่าสะอาดโอเคืราคาไม่แรง

Отель нормально расположен, радом с основной улицей, но тихо, номер просторный, есть чайник, мини холодильник, кондиционер, горячая вода в душе. Из минусов: стены и углы были в паутине, пауки были на стенах, на потолке, на шторах, один раз был замечен таракан... wifi в номере отвратительный, его практически не было. Уборка только когда попросите и очень посредственная, подметут пол, заправят постель и выкинут мусор, в ванную при этом даже не заглянули, как было все в песке, так и осталось, полотенца не меняли, туалетную бумагу новую не дали. Из душевой постоянно попахивало канализацией, приходилось плотно закрывать дверь, шланга от душа вся протекала. Свет в помещении очень тусклый, подушки на кровати твёрдые.

Clean and comfortable dorm room (4 pax female dorm). Easy check in, great location, air con and a gorgeous cafe below which does some of the best coffee on the island. Would highly recommend for overall value for money. The road can get noisy in the evening due to its central location for light sleepers, but by midnight it’s pretty quiet.

Das Zimmer war super sauber und sehr romantisch. Jeden Morgen sieht man den Sonnenaufgang direkt vom Zimmer. Ich bin 7 Nächste geblieben. Das Resort liegt direkt am Mu Ko Phetra Nationalpark, The Time Travel Zone. Ich bin jeden Morgen im Park gejoggt. Die Inhaberin und Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich bin ohne Auto angekommen, aber der Sohn von Inhaberin und die Einheimischen haben mich jeden Tag überall gefahren. Man kann direkt vom Resort verschieden Tour buchen. ich habe ” one day Trip” und noch 2 private Bootfahrten gemacht. Sie waren wirklich mega schön. Wir sehen uns bald...Satun. Jai
