I visited Dalian on April 28, 2026, for a 1-night, 2-day trip with China Southern Airlines. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check-in and asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, as I planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. At that time, a staff member named Leo Liu warmly welcomed me and assisted me in fluent Korean and English. Thanks to him, the check-in process was very smooth, and he even upgraded my room. I was very happy to stay in such a wonderful room during my trip. He also kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which I truly enjoyed. In addition, he explained nearby sightseeing spots in detail using a map, which was very helpful for my trip. Leo Liu was extremely kind, attentive, and proactive in understanding what guests need. His thoughtful service made my stay in Dalian truly enjoyable and memorable. If I visit Dalian again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. visited shenyang, changchun, harbin, changbaishan and yanji and this is the best hotel i have booked. hotel room is cozy and front desk is super nice. their parcel collection is at the carpark so it was abit cold during the winter when we dig through our stuff in slippers. other than that i absolutely love this hotel.

Check-in is very fast, and there is a free parking lot. It's convenient to stop at all the scenic spots. Well, it's close to all the scenic spots, and it's only a 15-20-minute walk away. It's near the Forbidden City University Town in Zhongjie, and the breakfast content is very rich, which is more in line with my taste. There is also free afternoon tea to eat, clothes to try on and photos to look good, and the high-altitude lobby on the 26th floor.It is also very atmospheric, and it is more convenient to travel, and the room is very comfortable.

春節帶老婆孩子從大連去丹東探親，在雲上酒店住了4晚。酒店看帶孩子，免費給升級了大房間。一到店送了熱飲。酒店的房間設施很乾凈。我住店一般第一個看衞生間，感覺看起來很新，沒有什麼明顯的衞生死角。馬桶是智能加熱，但是沒有衹能沖洗功能。酒店服務很熱情。我們喝水比較多，第二天開始，酒店每天多給2瓶水。離店的時候，還送了孩子小洗護用品和小住店禮品。問題也有，春節期間丹東放鞭炮特別多，酒店隔音很一般，半夜被鞭炮吵醒。還有就是熱水有時候忽冷忽熱。總的來説，非常好的入住體驗，值得再次入住。

I recently stayed at JEN Hotel by Shangri-La in Shenyang, and while the property itself is a bit dated, the service I received was truly outstanding and made my entire trip memorable. I would especially like to thank the front desk team, Bessie (管家), and the airport transfer driver for their exceptional care and support. Upon arrival, I faced some challenges as I didn’t have a local China phone number, and due to severe weather, I was unable to arrange food delivery on my own. The team stepped in immediately to help place orders for me and even ensured the food was delivered right to my room. They also assisted with receiving and managing courier deliveries for my online purchases, which was incredibly helpful. In addition, my luggage was damaged at the airport, and the hotel staff went above and beyond by following up daily and assisting me throughout the process until the issue was resolved. Their dedication and genuine willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier. What truly stood out was the warmth and kindness of everyone I interacted with. The people here are incredibly warm-hearted and attentive, and they made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Although the hotel itself shows some age, the level of service is among the best I have experienced. I would definitely return when I travel to Shenyang, China again. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience.

I stayed at Shenyang Yunwan Hotel recently and found it to be very conveniently located—perfect for travelers using the train and visiting local attractions. The room was clean, though slightly run-down, and guests will need to manage expectations in that regard. A major plus is that the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, offering easy access to food, shopping, and amenities. However, one important point to note is that the hotel’s air conditioning is centrally controlled by the mall. Once the mall closes (around 11:00 PM), the air conditioning is automatically shut off, leaving the rooms without cooling for the rest of the night. This can make the room quite stuffy, especially during warmer periods. Overall, the hotel scores high on location and convenience, but the lack of air conditioning at night may be a drawback for some guests. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide an alternative cooling solution during non-operating hours.

This Ramada is old, but it is well kept, clean, and the location is perfect as it is right beside the very busy ZhongJie walking street. The neighborhood is full of shopping complexes and food choices. It is within walking distance to many of the major tourist attractions in Shenyang, such as the Palace Museum and ChanAn Temple. It is great value for the money.
