HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

The guest rooms are a good size with a well-organized layout, and the washroom is clean and refreshing with a consistent and ample hot water supply. The front desk staff are patient and enthusiastic, always going the extra mile to help with any requests, providing truly heartwarming service. The hotel's hygiene is rigorously maintained, with every nook and cranny meticulously cleaned. The location offers convenient transportation, making it a stress-free and comfortable choice for your travels. Definitely my top pick!

The front desk ladies ( Ms Jin and Zhao) provided excellent service. The hotel is located heart of the city and easy to visit Shenyang palace and Former General Zhang’s historic residence. Tons of various shops decorated by culturally historic architecture are around it. Quite good stay😊

PPang B BThis is my second time staying at this hotel, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the high standards set during my first visit.During my first stay, I was incredibly impressed by the outstanding hospitality of the front desk lady who assisted me. She personally accompanied me to my room to ensure everything was perfect, seamlessly arranged my taxi bookings, and made sure my transport arrived exactly on time. Her attention to detail made me feel valued.Regrettably, no one provided that level of care during this trip. The check-in process felt purely transactional—the front desk staff simply handed me my room key with no extra effort or welcoming gesture.I chose to return because of the exceptional service I received initially, but this second experience felt indifferent. I hope management can train all staff to deliver the consistent, high-quality service that made this hotel stand out in the first place.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel by chance for my trip and was so pleasantly surprised! The interior decor is simple yet elegant, and the cleanliness is top-notch – even the corners are spotless. The soundproofing is excellent, so you won't be bothered by outside noise. The service is thoughtful and meticulous, showing attention to detail everywhere. It was a truly comfortable and relaxing stay, and I highly recommend everyone come experience it. It's also close to the TV Tower, which was a big plus. The robot delivery service on this side is also quite good, and there's a large fish pond on the first floor.

GGuest UserLet me start by saying this: it's my first business trip to Dalian, and this is the second hotel I've stayed at – both have been excellent! How can the service be so good? I'm in love with Dalian!
The location is superb, very close to Xinghai Square, and right by the seaside as soon as you step out.
During my stay, I added the butler's WeChat, so I could conveniently message them for anything I needed. When I arrived, the front desk staff helped me with my luggage to my room, and I even received a welcome afternoon tea.
There aren't many rooms on each floor, so it's very quiet, and the room itself is comfortable! The bed is neither too soft nor too hard, I slept so well. The curtains are automated with a button, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bath towels are thick. I usually bring my own toiletries when I travel, but I actually used the shampoo here and it was fantastic – left my hair fragrant and smooth. Very satisfied!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

GGuest UserI really have to say a few words. When traveling with my baby, I usually opt for hotels because they tend to be cleaner, but this guesthouse has completely changed my mind! First off, the environment is clearly well-maintained—super clean and tidy! The staff are incredibly helpful and responsive to every request; they even seemed a little embarrassed by some of our troubles. My baby didn't want to leave! Everyone, just go for it!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, just minutes' walk from the subway station and shopping district, making travel incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. It's great value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThe room itself was decent, but the service was terrible. I booked through Ctrip and they put us in a room at the very end of the hall. We're not superstitious, and it was only for one night, so we didn't bother making a fuss with the staff, but the service definitely deserves a bad review. It was 2 PM when we checked in, so there's no way they were out of rooms, right? And breakfast ends at 9:30 AM – they're really good at cutting costs.
