Very good.
I could check in even at 11 in the morning, instead at 2 pm.
The room was small, but perfect for solo traveller.
Plenty of the SPA facilities, friendly staff, speak multiple languages.
Nice breakfast ( except water melon, at some point, in the beginning it was empty, but not refilled during the service)
I really loved the tea room with the amazing choice of different teas.
I would definitely stay there again during my next visit to Karlovy Vary.

Es war wieder super, man kann das Auto auf dem großen Parkplatz parken für 50 Kronen pro Tag oder direkt beim Hotel kostet etwas mehr. Auto kann man stehen lassen zur Stadt fährt direkt ein Bus hin kostet nur 18 Kronen pro Person.

Einfach wunderschön ein Traum großes Zimmer vom feinsten und ein wunderbares reichhaltiges Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal vom Frühstück bis zur Rezeption einfach nur zum Wohlfühlen und mehrmals etwas klein aber dennoch das Schwimmbad benutzt da kann man relaxen und es sich gut gehen lassen wir kommen garantiert wieder.

Also das Ambiente ist richtig gut passt zum Schloss Zimmer sind riesig, Hygiene ist auch sehr gut außer bei der floating wanne oder Muscheln oder was das ist da waren überall schwarze Punkte und braune Flecken ich will auch nicht wissen wie viele vor mir in dem Wasser waren. Und das hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen es fehlen teilweise Fliesen und im Dampfbad kann man sich mit den mosaikfliesen abwerfen weil sie überall rumliegen, sauna muss man extra zahlen dafür hat man sie für sich allein. Aber sonst top nicht weit vom Zentrum Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich essen war sehr gut, nur das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl haben haben. Und ein teekocher um zimmer mit Tee und Kaffee wäre schön habe schok 3 Sterne hotels gehabt die hatten sowas. Und mir wurden 1750 czk obwohl im Internet steht 1500 czk abgebucht mir wird 250 czk zurückgebucht aber trotzdem ergärlich.

Naja, das Hotel hat enormes Potenzial…
Probleme beim Checkin und auch Probleme beim Checkout haben den Aufenthalt insgesamt nicht zu einem Erlebnisaufenthalt gemacht. Das Hotel selbst ist von der Bauart wunderschön, alles qualitativ hochwertig. Die Lage selbst ist Geschmackssache, was stört, ist die Straße gegenüber, sehr stark befahren und lauter Lärm.
Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert, wir hatten nachts 26° bei Außentemperaturen von 15°.
Beim Service gibt es sehr viel Luft nach oben, man hat den Eindruck, dass das Personal erst vor ein paar Tagen angefangen hat, das Hotel zu leiten. Wir entschieden uns, am ersten Abend das Abendessen im Hotel zu uns zu nehmen. Qualitativ ganz okay, jedoch haben sie es nicht geschafft, in 45 Minuten den bestellten Wein und einen zweiten zu besorgen. Wir waren mit dem Essen bereits fast fertig, als uns zwei Gläser Chianti gebracht wurden, die qualitativ unterirdisch waren. Wir hatten uns aufgrund des schönen Wetters sehr darauf gefreut, das Frühstück auf der Terrasse einzunehmen, das wurde aber nicht zugelassen, 30 Minuten später wurde es anderen Gästen jedoch gestattet. Das Personal ist bemüht, keine Frage, aber mit der Tätigkeit in diesem anspruchsvollen Hotel total überfordert. Wir haben mit Sicherheit einen hohen Anspruch, aber angesichts der Preise auch gerechtfertigt. Leider wurde dieser dreitägige Kurzurlaub durch oben beschriebenes deutlich getrübt.
Sollte sich der Service der Qualität des Gebäudes anpassen, ist das mit Sicherheit eine Empfehlung, aktuell für uns überhaupt nicht. Schade!

NNataliaValeThe hotel is centrally located, a bit up to the hill. Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast. Staff members, especially the young lady at reception, are friendly, polite and professional.
The reception front desk closes at 6 pm. If you checking in later, you have to contact the property well in advance.
Unfortunately,I didn't, and had to make around 40 calls on 3 different numbers provided.
They answered only after 50 minutes of waiting. This was really annoying, just because I was tired after the trip, hungry and desperately needed to use the toilet.( Sorry for the details).
After my calls answered, I got the access code and my keys. Easy.
The hotel is situated in the quiet area, unfortunately, some customers at the hotel made a big noise in the middle of the night:at 3 pm, loudly kicking in the neighbours door, trying to get in, for a very long 40 mins... I had to get out and prevent it,if they did not stop, I'll call the police.
I definitely had bad luck with this stay, it's not at all the hotel's fault, just my poor experience:(

SSogolWe were very surprised upon arrival. Despite the hotel description suggesting a 24-hour reception, there was no 24/7 front desk at Hotel Elefant. We had to go to another hotel for check-in, check-out and even breakfast, which was not clearly disclosed in the listing. This was inconvenient and felt misleading.
Another issue was the Wi-Fi: there was no password or QR code available in the room, and because there was no reception on-site, we couldn’t get the details. As a result, we were unable to use the Wi-Fi during our stay.
In addition, some of the photos in the listing gave us the impression of a different view/setting. Once we arrived, it seemed that the actual hotel does not match some of the photos shown, which affected our expectations.
The location is good, but transparency is essential. Please clearly state the reception situation, where guests must go for check-in/out and breakfast, provide Wi-Fi details in the room, and ensure the photos accurately represent the property

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel was excellent in every aspect, the room, cleanliness, service, and location were all outstanding.
However, our experience at the restaurant during our first visit was disappointing. Despite having a confirmed reservation, the hostess insisted on seating us at the very last table, claiming that all other tables were reserved and already chosen by other guests. After we declined that table, she eventually agreed to seat us at a somewhat better one.
What was surprising is that after we finished our dinner, the restaurant remained largely empty, which made the initial justification confusing and left us feeling uncomfortable. The interaction came across as unwelcoming and, unfortunately, felt discriminatory.
Aside from this incident, everything else about the hotel was truly excellent.

GGary0423The hotel is located on top of hills, which is not so convenient for travelers with luggage. There are 3 buildings within the hotel, 2 of them connected. The indoor swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi are in building 2.
My room is in building 3, seems to be newly renovated. Spacious space for a single room with a view of wood forest and next castle building. The toilet and shower room are separated. Only 1 body-and-hair shampoo is provided. But the soundproofing is not so great, you may hear the talking and laughing from the nest room clearly at night.
The front desk gentleman is so kind and attentive, highly appreciated for his service. The breakfast is average and could be crowded during holidays.

Breakfast spread was also very nice (selection and amount). We were really impressed with the value of the stay here. We did opt to pay extra for the included dinner, which was well worth it. I would rate the dinner 3.5 to 4 out of 5.
This is a 160 year old hotel, so expect things to be dated. However the keep it in good shape so that adds to the charm. You will not be disappointed here. I only wish the shower was a bit bigger…other than that, I thought it was great!

AAnonymous UserIt was absolutely amazing experience to stay here. The hotel is located very centre of tourist area with lots of choices of restaurants and cafes. The interior and the room were stunning. Limited time slots if check-in and out might be inconvenient for some, but we arrived and left during daytime, so it was not a problem for us.
The breakfast was also very tasty, albeit service was a bit inconsistent (the menu was provided on the first day but not on the second day and limited choice).
Overall, we had very good time and we would love to stay here again.
