Day 1 - Drove to Melaka fr JB. Check in @5pm and requested for 1 big bed as I made a mistake by booking for twin room. They were kind enough to join the 2SS beds. The riverview from the balcony was ♥️. The has double size sofa and work desk in case you want to do some work while on holiday. Went to Atlantic nyonya restaurant for dinner. Tried the pongteh chicken for first time & hubby loves it so much he wants to go back again soon. Day 2 - went for early breakfast at Roti Canai Kayu Arang Melaka. Love their roti canai tampal & lempeng kelapa with sambal. Found out there's cow farm, container homestay & local snacks shop within the area. Bought gula Melaka, dodol & coconut biscuits for souvenir. Went for tea after @ the popular daily fix. Love the vibe at the cafe 😍

A quiet hotel, away from town. Restful. I enjoyed the showervery much and had a good bath. But.. The toilet bad odour (especially from toilet bowl) is true as per reviews posted by many customers. I hope hotel can do something to get rid of the bad odour from the sewage. The air-conditioning sound is very loud is true as per reviews by many customers. Light sleepers may be affected.

Overall experience was not too bad. Check-in was smooth as we arrived later than expected. Service - Friendly staff with nice smiles. Room cleanliness - I would say relatively clean. At least no stains on the bed apart from the headboard. Toilet sink was choking though and water took time to flush through. And quite a few rundown parts and rust. Could do better to clean and remove water stains. Location - Surrounded by tons of food options, massage places and some karaoke options. Didn't shop in the malls nearby but the Hatten Square is pretty ded. Nearby drive away from the famous Jonker street.

The 3-bedroom apartment is perfect for a family of six — spacious and comfortable, with two toilets provided. The only downsides were a leaking bidet and the absence of wifi. Since our booking included breakfast for six, we enjoyed a generous breakfast buffet on Level 3A at Swiss Garden. Overall, we're happy with the stay.

My stay was fabulous and breezy, thanks to the service provided and the cleanliness of the room and hotel. The property and facilities were well-maintained. Chef Dollah passionately prepared the meal I ordered. Vegetarian Mamak Mee filled my day. Thank you so much for such marvelous service. I hope to maintain the quality of services so we can visit regularly.

Very satisfied. The service at the counter was great, and the staff were very friendly. The place is close to tourist attractions, which is convenient. There are also many food options nearby, and there is a shopping mall right across the street.

I stayed at The Pines Hotel recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient, just a short drive to Melaka’s main attractions, but far enough to avoid the heavy traffic around Jonker Street. There are also eateries and shops nearby, which made things easier. Breakfast was served at the Oak Café with a wide variety of dishes, both local and international. The spread was decent, though it could be improved slightly in terms of freshness and variety. Facilities-wise, the swimming pool was a highlight, especially the infinity-style pool overlooking the city. The staff were polite and helpful whenever we needed assistance, though service could be a bit more attentive during peak times. Overall, The Pines is a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable and family-friendly stay in Melaka. It offers good value, especially for those who prefer bigger rooms compared to other hotels in the

Big room, great location as near to main place to visit at Melaka. Fast and easy check in and out. The only minus point as the room facing main road, a bit noisy when loud motorcycle passing by.

Quite clean if you compare to other similar standard hotels in the area, booked it at a cheap rate so cannot complain much for the price paid… Soap is somehow 3-in-1… Wifi was good when I checked in, but got pretty bad when i returned from dinner… not sure what happened… lazy to go down to the reception so just slept early Overall, it was alright. Location was amazing tho, 10 mins to the nearest mall, heng chicken rice balls across the street :)

Pristine location, rooms are clean and tidy. The only drawbacks are, carpark is slightly troublesome although it's in the same building. Have to change lift and walk a a distance. Had to pay RM5 for 24hrs parking though. Reception was short staffed. Only 1 staff was working when we were checking in and out. Had to wait for quite a while for our turn.
