Granbell colombo is the most beautiful city hotel in colombo , It offer really japanese hospitality experience , foods are really tasty , Hotel has most beautiful infinity pool at roof top. That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . It is really nice. Overall experience is really worth for money.staff was very friendly. Mihiranga from reception he helps us very friendly during our stay and restaurant staff Niroshan , kasun is very helpfull . We will definitely come back again . Thanks Granbell ❤

As a practice I usually speak to several staff when I visit somewhere before making a genuine comment for the improvement of that organization. Seeing so many sad faces in this happy place, I deeply thought many times whether to write on this or not. Taking care of External Customers is a good thing as long as Internal Customers (your employees) also feel fairly treated. “Clients do not come first. Employees do. If you take care of your employees, naturally they will take good care of the clients.” Your staff doesn't look to be happy and as customers we can feel those things also. Note to management!

I chose Fairway Colombo during my visit to Colombo on October 2023. The main reason is always the fantastic location. It is walking distance to many of the meetings I have in WTC, Port City, Kingsbury, Hilton and others. There is fantastic restaurants and spa walking distance from the hotel. It is very easy to get vehicles. The rooms area perfect for business stay and even stay with families.

We loved our little stay at Mandarina. However, the food (buffet breakfast) was below average. Service was snail paced, perhaps only for us. Pros: Location Cleanliness Cons: Food Delayed service

OK Folks once upon time this used to be one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. That was decades ago, this is one of the very few Sri lankan government owned hotel today. This is not so luxurious to match a five star, but a pretty good hotel which fits in well for a three star. There are glitches here and there, it's an old building, you might find the hot water not working or a broken switch, pardon that, the hotel is working very hard to fix those with the little financial resources they have. The staff of the hotel are very kind and hard working. If you request them for something, they will not hesitate to try there best to satisfy your needs. The hotel has undergone a renovation recently and working hard to maintain a good menu of food. Again people are good and hard working but with the financial resources they have, there are limitations. Overall its a good 3 star hotel with a decent menu of food and really polite people. Help them by reserving your rooms with this little place which has a big history, the more guest who visit this place, the more money they get, so they can serve you better the next time your arrive. Be kind when making your reviews, try to look through the eyes of good people here who are trying to make your stay the best ever. Let encourage more people to use thus hotel so they can soon start to cater you with five star perfection.

6.93387°, 79.84408° this narrow high-rise hotel is located next to the old Dutch hospital in Hospital Street and occupies a small floor area. Reception is on the ground floor (1F), the banquet hall on floor 1 (2F) and the restaurant on floor 2 (3F). Each floor from level 3 (4F) to 8 (9F) has 6 hotel rooms. In March 2024, room 502 overlooks Hospital Street and the old Dutch Hospital. It is a modern luxury room with large flat screen television, fridge, soft double bed, safe, hairdryer, good air-conditioning and Wi-Fi reception and hot shower. The same level as American business hotels. On reflection, the maintenance does not keep the room in top condition. Some tiles in the shower are missing and wear and tear in the room is clearly visible. In five years, this hotel will be on the second-hand market or in need of a serious renovation. Rooms 01, 02 and 03 on every level face Hospital Street and are exposed to the noise of live music from bands playing in the old Dutch Hospital. If your night rest is important, ask for a room in the back of the hotel. Zest Metropole in the Fort is a business hotel in the middle of party town. Be warned.

We arrived late and were greeted by the very courteous staff. The room was large, clean and had a/c. It was just what we needed to recover from our long flight before we continued our journey the next morning. The location is just 10 minutes from the airport so it is super convenient.

Where can I begin to start about this hotel? From the minute we walked through the door you would think you were in a 5* hotel with the level of service you receive. The room was modern and beds extremely comfortable. There were a few bits of damage but nothing we couldn't see past. The only gripe I had with the room is that because the Make up room/ Do not disturb LED light is beside the bed this lights up blue on a night and can be bothersome. A fantastic mention for our housekeeper Gihan keeping us well stocked in towels and everything tidy. The pool is well maintained and pool towels are of a very good quality. We looked in the gym and contrary to a previous review the air con works. Bar service and the range of drinks are excellent, as is the Cafe on the ground floor which has excellent cakes and is very reasonably priced. Infact we couldn't believe it. This property is gorgeous with the old world charm and the food and cocktails are amazing too . But above all, they ace in hospitality. The staff , right from GM to everyone else are so warm, courteous and helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.I had a ligament tear in my ankle while in Srilanka and be it GM Mr. Siddique , Mr. Emmanuel, the bell boy Mr. Sujith, and the rest of the staff , they were all so supportive and caring that I was totally moved by the way they took care of me. Strongly recommend this place with its beautiful people to all and I will surely be staying here again when I visit Srilanka

The location is brilliant. And the staff are friendly and helpful. The place is old and not maintained cleanly. But the staff are friendly and upgraded us to a cleaner apartment immediately. The new apartment was cleaner. But could be better..

Jetwing was an amazing hotel to stay, we got a nice sea view apartment. Nice hotel with great amenities for the price. The breakfast was really good and amazing. Highly recommended

We stayed overnight awaiting our early flight back to Europe. It’s a fairly new hotel. The owners (who live in the complex) are extremely nice and helpful, even offering us airport-transport in the middle of the night at low price. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Each room has a terrace to the garden. You can have a drink in the garden. We are no backpackers, and like a good bed, airco and a nice shower. The prices here were by far the lowest we had during 3 weeks in Sri Lanka; incredible they can offer this at about 25 euro/room. The only disadvantage is the noise of the airplanes, but that’s quite logic of course if you want to stay nearby the airport.

Hotel close to airport make it very convenient, however you need to use express lane to Colombo as it is slightly out of the city . You don’t have much choice for food as only two dining restaurant available but it offer a 24 hours room service make it a plus point . Complementary shuttle service for airport pick up is a bonus .

I stayed in this hotel for a week. It’s only been open for 5 months and at first appearance it looks good, but taking a closer look it’s still being built and repaired. There are still cables jutting out of the wall and ceiling. Although the kitchen is featured in the photos of the room, it has no tap, the cupboards are sealed. I raised some of my concerns when I arrived with the general manager when he asked me questions about my stay and he seemed blasé about addressing it. Based on what was paid, this hotel is overpriced. There are still cement stairways and drilling taking place during the day. The WiFi is awful, they finally installed a router in my room which took the week to do and it only worked on the day of my departure. The best part of the hotel is some staff members who will go out of their way to help, special mention to Jazz. They have a great pool on the roof. Until it’s fully built I wouldn’t recommend staying here!

Well, I had a workation here for 2 weeks. And I had just fallen in love) There's so warm friendly staff, tasty food, comfortable rooms and a house! ❤️ We had a possibility to work outside, near the pool and cool down after each call:) Breakfast everyday was great and delicious (that could be healthy european cousin, or colorful local one). We had found out a lot about local food, people and traditions due to talking with manager 🥰 I'm happy)

I stayed one night before I flew out from Sri Lanka. The room was clean and had good air con. Wifi was strong. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The price of my meals and beer was very good and the food tasty. I was well looked after and had a good chat about cricket and Shane Warne. For a very small fee i was able to organise late check out (8.00 pm) The drop-off at the airport was included in the price of the stay. This place was excellent value for money.

This hotel is very close to the airport and is easy to find. It's neat and tidy for an over night stay when arriving or before flying out. We did not take the breakfast so can't comment on that. Check in and check out was hassle free and the workers helped with our bags even though it was so late. Sites to see on the way.
