Hôtel très bien situé pour les voyageurs en voiture, proche du centre d’Aveiro, des axes autoroutiers et des plages de Costa Nova et Praia do Barril en moins de 15min en voiture. Accueil et personnel très serviable. Piscine intérieure (accessible sous réservation et avec un bonnet de bain) et extérieur très bien ! Incroyable petit déjeuner typique portugais, je recommande ! Je recommande également les massages au SPA, je suis actuellement enceinte de 7,5 mois et le massage relaxant a été adapté pour moi, c’était vraiment super ! Mais attention, l’hôtel est en construction, visiblement une extension. Par conséquent qui dit construction, dit bruits associés pendant la journée. Nous sommes venus en famille, avec un enfant en bas âge qui fait encore ces siestes l’après-midi, donc avec les bruits très compliqués! Les travaux donnent pile sur la piscine extérieure de l’hôtel, donc la détente n’est pas au rendez-vous. De plus, l’hôtel est particulièrement mal isolé ! En effet, dans les chambres ont entend tout ! Les bruits de la route très passante, nuit et jour, les bruits de la chambre au-dessus, les bruits dans les couloirs et l’ascenseur qui bipe tout le temps. Pour un 4 étoile, l’isolation est extrêmement décevante ! Un parking privé gratuit est disponible au -1 de l’hôtel, mais attention à l’accès ! La descente est vraiment très en pente, pas adapté aux voitures basses, nous qui avons un 4x4, c’était tout juste. Nous sommes déçus de ne pas voir été prévenus des travaux avant notre arrivée et globalement de l’isolation très mauvaise. Le reste des prestations de l’hôtel sont correctes.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, we were warmly greeted by Diana & Catia. They offered our friends and us a free room upgrade which was so kind. The rooms were themed. Our room was a classic decor and our friends' room was modern deco. Very comfortable beds and linens and the bathrooms were opulent! Both rooms had views of the canals with the colorful boats sailing up and down the canal. The breakfast was tasty, with many choices. Afternoon happy hour and snacks served by the friendly barman Ivo, made us feel like we were family. We needed a ride to Porto (about 1 1/2 hrs from Aveiro) and the Hotel recommended the very professional services of TaxiGlenn. Out of all the accommodations during our 5 week stay, Hotel Moliciero was by far the highlight stay for us!

This stay in Curia Hotel, was actually in the ir of 2005 i believe. But still in my memories, I remember the grandiosity of the building, the very high floor and the space mixed with stories and te years give you peace just siting, and enjoy the surrenders. Nice services, nice staff, don’t lose de massages options and the restaurant if remember a good experience

We booked this hotel for one night as a treat for a bit of R&R after our city break in Porto. We arrived a little early, about 2.30 and the room wasn't ready yet. After checking in, we went for a little walk round the grounds and by the time we returned the room was ready. We had booked the private pool suite, as we were celebrating a birthday, and it did not disappoint! It is definitely one of the most luxurious, high tech rooms we have stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean, the room was nice and spacious, it had all sorts of high end features(like ireless phone charging pads and a google speaker) and all the usual features were finished to a high standard. The terrace was lovely and although people could see us (depending on the angle) it still felt very private. The pool was lovely, it was quite warm (it was July) but still refreshing enough, especially when sitting in the shade. It was lovely to sit in the pool and take in the view of the beautiful trees. It was so still and peaceful, the only sound was the odd bird or the ringing of a nearby church bell. We went for dinner in the hotel restaurant. The service was great, the menu was a little limited but the food was tasty. I can't eat gluten and they had a good understanding of this. In the morning at breakfast there was gluten free bread, cake and biscuits. It would have been good if they were covered, to avoid cross contamination, as they were next to the normal toaster but it was still good to be catered for. After we checked out of our room we laid by the main pool. There are lots of loungers and it was nice to use the pool, sauna and hot tub. Also, we were able to shower and change in the spa which was handy. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return.

When we arrived on our bikes, we were greeted so nicely before we even went inside. The staff here are invested in your every compfort 100% and 24/7. The hotel and our amazing beach front room with balcony is very upmarket. Someone has gone to alot of expense and effort to provide everything you could possibly need and with no costs spared. We would highly recommend the Furodouro Botique Hotel for your next beach holiday getaway.

Um hotel fantástico no centro de Aveiro, bem perto de tudo. Quarto maravilhoso com um ótimo colchão e duas almofadas fofinhas e eu que tenho problema de coluna, dormi muitíssimo bem. O wc é pequeno mas não houve nenhum problema por isso, o chuveiro efeito de chuva é enorme e os amenities Azzaro formidáveis. O roof top ao fim do dia com vista para o canal e uma bebida é Top. O pequeno-almoço é maravilhoso e não falta nada, sumo natural, fruta, chá, café, iogurtes, ovos mexidos e bacon, pães diversos e croissants, doçaria diversa, foi o que me foi servido à mesa e combatemos assim o desperdício dos buffets, pelo menos nos pequenos hotéis onde claramente não se justifica. Parabéns às colaboradoras que se cruzaram comigo, todas profissionais e simpáticas. Recomendo e certamente voltarei. Obrigada

A wonderfully unique hotel on the seafront,close to restaurants,bars and the town. The beach is clean,beautiful white sands and gorgeous sunsets. We loved the spaciousness of our room and the hotel in general. Great artwork everywhere . We especially like the breakfast room/restaurant with panoramic sea views. Breakfast was good,we felt relaxed and welcomed.

Stayed here while on a cycling trip down the Portuguese coast. Clean and basic hotel with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Breakfast buffet is a little basic but there is plenty of seating. Only problem was that my room overlooked the Street which meant church bells all through the night and early morning rubbish collection and street cleaning noises.

Liked · The room is large, very clean and has nice newer furniture; nice automated blinds; staff is helpful and professional. Nice pool area and great food at restaurant. I liked that they provided tongues for breakfast for each guest to avoid same tongue being touched by tens of hands. Great idea! The restaurant food and the only waiter we've had were great. Prices are decent; I wish they would not charge so much for bread and olives- considering they are cheap to get. Very close by, walking distance, there is a grocery store where you can get essentials and food. They also have a coin laundromat, which can come in handy. The garage under the hotel was great, well lit and secure; also free. Overall, the hotel and staff was nice. I would recommend it for somebody who is looking for a quiet, comfortable place to spend time. Disliked · For a ”beach” hotel, you would expect to provide something to be able to dry swimsuits or towels on the balcony. A retractable string would have been of great help. Some wall decor and less plastic flowers would make the place more artsy. The breakfast was a little of a disappointment. Very few options, most of the time there was no omelette or bacon, no water, no cups. They seemed clearly understaffed in the breakfast area- only two people who were cooking, bringing out trays, cleaning. They looked stressed and overworked. Towels for the pool were provided, but they mentioned to hold on them for the entire stay. The pool water is cold, but that seems like a Portuguese thing- all pools we've tried in Portugal were not heated and cold. The beach was on red flag the entire 4 days we were there; they did not allow people to go in the ocean. To be honest, the high waves and cold water would have kept me away from getting in anyway. The area around the hotel is ok, more of a residential area. The walk to the closest beach is not at all scenic. Not close either. Not much to do in the area in the evening- a car seems to be a must to travel to other more entertaining areas.

What a huge disappointment this hotel is. After traveling on the Camino for several weeks and staying at various Alberque's I was looking forward to being spoiled at a high class hotel for a few days. Unfortunately, I received better service at any Alberque I stayed at then I did at Melia Ria. Everything at this expensive hotel is an extra. Want to use the gym; its an additional charge. Want to use the pool; you must pay and they require everyone wears a bathing cap(the cap is also a added charge). Pool time and exercise time is also limited to 1 hour total per day. The hotel looks to charge for every little thing. They provide in room, coffee and free breakfast; however, they charge for coffee at 14:00 but it's free if you go to your room and make it yourself. If you are out of in-room coffee, the front desk gives you as many pods as you want for free. In general, the staff is friendly but does not understand Customer Service. The bar is open but you have to search for the bartender. Then they tell you ”its easier for me if you pay now”, so when I want a 2nd glass of wine I have to start searching for the bartender and start the process all over again. I don't know why they couldn't take my room number and let me run a tab. Next time, I will stay at an Alberque or a less expensive hotel where customers are appreciated and I can be better served.
