Hotel 2-Star di Crete, Greece

For sure is one of the best hostels I’ve ever been. Spacious, clean, well organised, amazingly decorated. However, one thing could be improved: assembling some shelves/niches beside beds. It’s annoying dropping my phone or anything through the gap between bed wall. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay at Artemis Apartments. The location is wonderful - just a short walk to the beach, and many shops and restaurants nearby. We loved how close everything was, yet the place feels quiet and peaceful. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful (many thanks to Nikos) -always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was good, though fairly simple and similar from day to day. But I suspect this is because it’s off-season. Some things stood out: the WiFi worked well most of the time, the pool area is lovely and well-maintained, and the value for money is excellent.

IDI hotel is uitstekend. Net buiten Stavros, maar niet te ver om in een paar minuten gezellig authentiek Grieks te kunnen eten. Het ontbijt is prima met veel keuze. Eten kan binnen in het restaurant of buiten op het terras. Dineren zoals gezegd in het dorp of in de taverna naast het hotel. Alles tegen zeer schappelijke prijzen. Het zwembad is groot. 1.50 diep. Veel ligstoelen en schaduwrijke plaatsen. De kamers zijn allemaal gerenoveerd. Heel smaakvol. We hebben er een week gezeten. Overdag ook vaak naar Matala (20 min met de auto ) Fijn strand en qua drukte goed te doen

I stayed at this hostel for one night during a music festival, and I had a really positive experience. The room was clean, the staff were very polite and helpful, and they even provided me with an extra blanket when I asked. The location is excellent—right next to the bus stop, just a 5–7 minute walk to the beach, and close to the city center. The room had a proper renovation, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and I slept comfortably. Overall, I enjoyed my stay

Mirabello Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the beach and major attractions. The hotel has a beautiful environment and is fully equipped with TV, hairdryer and shampoo. The service is professional and the staff is warm and thoughtful. They recommended us a cafe with a great view by the sea and invited us to taste local Easter snacks. They are committed to providing high-quality Cretan hospitality. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay and is worth recommending.

I beleive Calypso Hotel is a great hotel. The location is perfect and quiet. The staff was positive and helpful. I beleive is a very good place for families and couples. The food they offer is fine and the prices of any extra is logical. The hotel is clean. I would recommend the place to everyone. I hope to visit Calypso again in the future. Thank u !

Renovated, spacious, clean. Downside you need to check-in to the sister hotel, which was not communicated well in advance. Good thing I have data to call locally, so they sent someone to guide me where to check-in. No elevator, has a restaurant directly below so it can be bothersome if you're a light sleeper. Over all it was a nice place to stay.

Enjoyed the stay at the hostel. The people (Volunteers) at the desk were very helpful. The rooftop is a good place to hangout and meet fellow travellers. Location is in close proximity to main shopping areas of Heraklion. Also has a 24 hour convenience store within a 5 minute walk. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The hotel itself is very nice, great location, staff is very friendly. However, when we entered the room we immediately noticed dirty floor and found a piece of broken glass on the carpet. Staff said they will send the cleaning lady but no one showed up. Also there were no toiletries in the bathroom.
