Facilities: Some reviews mentioned poor facilities, but I found them to be quite unique and excellent. You can tell from the photos. The only thing is the hairdryer in my room was quite old, but all other facilities were great.
Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent, very clean. I brought my own sheets but didn't even need to use them.
Environment: Fantastic! I was initially worried about insects and snakes, but I didn't see any, which put my mind at ease.
Service: The front desk staff was very attentive during check-in. It was my first time traveling abroad alone, and my English isn't great, but I was checked in and in my room in under ten minutes. Staff helped with luggage both getting in and out of the car. When I was lost, one staff member even helped me with directions and chatted a bit. In short, everyone from the main entrance to the front desk, to the restaurant, and even staff I just passed by, greeted me with a smile. They were all very polite and friendly. The location isn't great. It's right next to a light rail station's downhill end, so you hear the constant screeching of train brakes from 6 AM onwards. Plus, it's near a highway, so there's a lot of loud motorcycle noise at night. To top it off, a large mosque nearby starts broadcasting prayers loudly over speakers at 6 AM. If you're sensitive to noise and need good sleep, I'd recommend thinking twice about this hotel. I checked in around midnight on January 29th and specifically asked the front desk for a quiet room, but they still put me on the noisiest side. Even on the 20th floor, I couldn't sleep at all due to the constant noise throughout the night. The hotel's front desk is oddly located on the second floor of a small shopping mall, right next to a McDonald's. Most attractions require a taxi or public transport to get to. I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Kuala Lumpur, and the experience exceeded my expectations.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its convenient access to Pavilion Mall via a covered bridge crossing at Banyan Tree. It’s just a short walk from the hotel and makes getting to the mall extremely easy while avoiding the terrible traffic jams in the area.
Getting a Grab was also very easy when heading further out, as the hotel is not located right in the middle of the main traffic congestion where vehicles can be stuck for hours just to travel a short distance.
All the staff were well-groomed, friendly, and professional, and they consistently went the extra mile to provide excellent service to their guests.
The breakfast spread was amazing. During our four-day stay, we enjoyed a wide variety of delicious dishes prepared by the chefs. We were also fortunate to be selected as Guest of the Day, which gave us access to the lounge. The lounge experience was fantastic, with à la carte breakfast, tea breaks, and cocktails served daily.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything tidy, with drinks thoughtfully topped up. I especially loved the room lighting and the sound system — the bass really added to the ambiance and made the stay even more enjoyable.
What truly touched me was the hotel’s attention to detail. They noted that this was my birthday trip and surprised me with a cake and balloons. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made my stay incredibly special and memorable.

Out of the three hotels I stayed at during my six-day trip, the Marriott was definitely my favorite. First off, the location is excellent – right next to Pavilion Mall, so it's lively but not noisy. It's also close to the Bukit Bintang MRT station, which makes getting around super convenient. Second, the service was wonderfully warm. We chose Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur South mainly for the rooftop pool which was quite small but on the same 25th floor there is very good rooftop bar.
We spent New Year’s Eve there, and the view, atmosphere, and overall organization were fantastic.
It was a perfect place to celebrate, with stunning city views and a great vibe.
The rooftop restaurant/bar is also very pleasant during the day – ideal for coffee, drinks, or just relaxing.
The hotel itself feels a bit older, and in my opinion it could benefit from some renovation, especially since the Hilton name usually sets expectations for a slightly higher standard.
We stayed on half board – breakfast was in our building, while dinner was served at the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn North. The restaurant there was excellent, with a set menu and incredibly delicious food. We truly recommend it.
The location is very convenient, and you can even see the Petronas Towers. We had a room with a view, and honestly, it was breathtaking – worth it for that alone!
Overall, the hotel is more on the budget side rather than luxury, but the staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay enjoyable.

Loved my experience at this hotel! For the price, it is an absolute steal.
There is literally nothing I can complain about. It met all the standards of a classy hotel.
So normal check-in is at 3pm. I got to the hotel at 10am and they gave me the room right away at no extra charge. Gee at the front desk was very helpful.
The rooms are quiet, the AC works well and they have a modern shower.
The gym is small but has decent amount of equipment. Pool is really nice.

Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur – A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City
The hotel is beautifully located in the Golden Triangle, just across from Pavilion KL, with stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. It’s slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Bukit Bintang, yet still close enough for easy access — a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.
Upon check-in, guests are offered a selection of incense and essential oils for their room — a lovely and thoughtful personal touch. We stayed in the Signature Banyan Retreat, which was cozy, comfortable, and came with all the amenities you’d expect, plus a beautiful view of KL’s night skyline.
We did encounter a minor issue on our first night when the room’s light switches stopped working, including the master switch. The maintenance engineer arrived promptly, even though it was close to midnight, and quickly resolved the issue with a system reset. Really appreciate how efficient and polite he was!
We also dined at Torito, the hotel’s Peruvian-Japanese restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The ceviche clásico is a must-try — so refreshing and full of flavor. The lomo saltado featured perfectly cooked medium-rare beef tenderloin, and the stone ceviche, a warm twist on the classic, was equally impressive. Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert, but the attentive service made the meal memorable.

I recently stayed at Momo's KL and had a unique experience that I appreciated, but there were a few aspects I wish could be improved.

It is good for a boutique hotel so do not expect amenities like a pool, gym, etc., value for money.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, kudos to them.
AC in one of the rooms started making noise in the evening but staff helped change the room immediately when it could not be fixed by them.
No restaurant in the hotel and nearby Indian restaurants unfortunately opened late (most in and after lunch hours) so vegetarian breakfast was an issue for us in that vicinity but managed via Hasan Ali hawker center nearby.
Can take a grab taxi to most of the KL tourist attractions (factor ~10 min taxi wait time though, grabs' issue) so location is also good.
Not a noisy road outside but the view from the room is limited. Not sure about parking but did not see any outside the hotel.DariMYR 126
