Absolutely stunning hotel The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the decor was absolutely stunning. It really does look just like the photos. Its also easy walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street, to multiple subway lines, and to the Forbidden City. Dozens of food options right across the street too, but also several in-house restaurants and room service. Our room was spotlessly clean, the air was fresh and clean, and the housekeeping cleaned up and replaced our towels and amenities daily. The gym was very well equipped with commercial gym standard equipment - it doesnt open til 7am though. The swimming pool area was also lovely though we were too busy exploring Beijing and never got a chance to swim in it! We would both, most definitely, stay with Legendale again and would thoroughly recommend to others, too. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We only wish we had stayed for a bit longer.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time! The hotel's location is very convenient; I didn't have to go far for transportation or dining. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was good, so I had a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff, especially Chance, provided warm and thoughtful service, efficiently handling check-in and check-out, and patiently answering any questions. The public areas were clean and impressive, and the facilities were well-maintained. Overall, it offered great value for money, with no disappointments. It's suitable for both short trips and business stays. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose Sofitel Beijing Central （Accor） again next time I'm in the area. It's truly worth staying!

Communication, from the front desk staff to the lobby manager and even management, is smooth and efficient, with a low communication cost. The room decor and facilities aren't new, but they are perfectly adequate for business travelers and families. The hotel is equipped with an indoor pool and gym, which is very friendly for those who like to exercise while traveling. The breakfast selection and taste are very practical, and overall, my experience was great. I hope the hotel continues to uphold its commitment to brand and quality.

This hotel offers pretty good value for money, with an excellent location and affordable prices. While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. However, the customer service and the female front desk staff were quite subpar. They were unwilling to offer room upgrades or late check-outs, which was disappointing. I hope they improve, as it would be a shame to waste such a great location and the efforts of most of the other staff members.

Opting for the New Otani Chang Fu Gong for my Beijing trip was a great choice; the overall stay was consistently excellent and thoughtful, truly reflecting the quality of a seasoned high-end hotel. The service was warm and meticulous. Every day, they'd leave Beijing specialty snacks in the room – classic local pastries and treats. Coming back after a day of sightseeing to these delightful surprises was incredibly heartwarming. The breakfast was of a high standard, with a rich variety of choices, and a distinct Japanese flair. The tender omelets, crispy capelin, and exquisite Japanese pastries were all authentically prepared. At the same time, Chinese and Western hot dishes, breads, congees, cold cuts, and braised meats were all available, catering to different tastes. The view from the breakfast restaurant was a particular highlight. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see a serene courtyard: a neatly trimmed lawn, a rock garden pond, and even white geese leisurely strolling about. The garden scenery was elegant and comfortable. Enjoying breakfast while taking in the view really helped me slow down and relax. The guest room was clean and spacious, with a well-organized layout and good natural light, making for a relaxed and unconfined stay. The overall service was on point, and the breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for accommodation in Beijing.

Today I'm on duty at work. It's scorching hot and there's no air conditioning in the office. It's really unbearable. I emergency chose this Xinqiao Hotel. Facilities: I chose a windowless non-smoking room. The size is decent, and the facilities are quite complete. This hotel has several Chinese and Western restaurants, so dining is quite convenient. Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is good; it's relatively clean. I specifically chose a non-smoking room. Because it's windowless, the room is equipped with an air purifier. Environment: It's very close to my workplace, only about two or three hundred meters away. The environment is good. Service: The check-in service at this hotel was relatively quick. Room cleaning was also quite prompt, and check-out was fast. The breakfast service was also pretty good, I guess?

The housekeeping lady on 8th floor was kind and always made sure to top up water and throw rubbish as I didn’t need my room cleaned everyday. The location was excellent and short walk and there’s a nice halal Lanzhou Beef noddle shop across the road and a fruit seller either outside the hotel or across the road in front of 7-11. A good spot to get some fruits after dinner.

I chose Orange Crystal for my trip to Beijing this time, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Wangfujing, very close to Jinshi Hutong subway station on Line 8. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining, and also very easy to get to attractions like Yonghe Temple and the Forbidden City. The hotel's overall decor is simple yet stylish, and the lobby environment is clean and comfortable. The guest rooms are well-cleaned, and the bedding is soft, making for a very relaxing sleep. The room is equipped with smart controls, making it easy to operate the curtains and lighting. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and toiletries are complete. It's truly a quiet resting environment in the midst of a bustling city. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient with check-in. There are many great food options nearby, and returning to the hotel after sightseeing is hassle-free. It's perfect for both tourist travel and short stays. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Beijing.

It’s a very good hotel located in ideal location . It’s very near to forbidden city which is just few streets away. Many restaurants located nearby, like Si Ji Min Fu Peking Duck. You could get help from the hotel to get the queue number and waiting at the hotel room before your turn. It’s really save a lot of time. The daily breakfast was good , just that the serving plates or cups were found cracked or chipped , the hotel still use that for serving customers during breakfast .We were given free drink voucher and you gotta to get the voucher from the service counter daily. Free laundry and free robot delivery service . As there’s only one robot for food delivery to room, and during peak hour , you might need to go down to collect the food at the hotel counter yourself . And the room cleaning service is awesome and they helped us to clean the baggage and left us a message in sticky note when the job’s done. Kudos to the dedicated room cleaner. Many local Beijing snacks and cold drinks are served at the hotel lobby and they are free. When we’re checked out , we’re given a small free goodie bag to bring back home.

The apex of Beijing, where the true heart of luxury beats! — A perfect stay at Kerry Hotel Beijing from July 25th-26th If Beijing is a flowing feast, then the Guomao CBD is its most dazzling stage, and Kerry Hotel Beijing sits right in the center of it. During this stay, I truly experienced what it means to “be amidst the bustle, yet privately enjoy luxury.” Arriving on the afternoon of the 25th, from the moment I stepped into the lobby, that grand sense of tranquility isolated me from the noise outside the window. The room was super spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered an unparalleled city skyline view, with the CCTV Headquarters (the 'big trousers') and China Zun tower side-by-side. That feeling of having the imperial capital at your feet instantly made the room rate worthwhile! I must particularly praise the Kerry Club Lounge on the 18th floor! It was truly the highlight of my entire stay! The service from Ms. Lucy, Clara, and Seanna was simply delightful, making me feel incredibly welcome. The lounge's food, whether afternoon tea or evening happy hour, offered such a vast variety that it was hard to choose. The breakfast at 'Jia Pin Restaurant' on the morning of the 26th absolutely won me over—there were 7 ways to prepare eggs alone, plus fresh grapefruit. These kinds of details are truly a huge plus! Although I know this hotel is a representative of the 'old money' opened in 1999, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. That sense of profound grandeur, refined by the passage of time, is a quality new hotels simply cannot replicate. The gym and heated swimming pool are top-tier for hotels in China, with huge spaces and comprehensive equipment. Even just a swim feels like a luxury. My two-day journey in the heart of luxury left me wanting more. Not only is the location unbeatable, but the service and dining are also exceptional! This is definitely the most 'aristocratic' hotel I've stayed at in Beijing, second to none! ♥️

1. **Check-in:** The check-in process was inefficient. They strictly enforce the 2 PM check-in time, and there was a very long line with only two front desk staff members. It got even slower when foreign guests were checking in. It wasn't even that crowded during the National Day holiday. 2. **Room:** The room was very spacious. We booked a mountain-view room, and since we had kids, we had to push the beds together. Due to the bed design, there was a huge gap at the headboard, so next time we'll have to request bed guards. The glass was quite old, and the buttons in the room weren't very responsive. With two children, we were missing children's toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes, which had to be sent up separately. Shower gel and other amenities were only available in specific kids' rooms. It would be better if they provided slippers for the hot spring area next time; the disposable ones were quite slippery. 3. **Hotel Activities:** During the National Day holiday, there were activities every morning and afternoon, which the kids really enjoyed. Some required an extra charge. I'd recommend registering for the activities when you actually participate to get the discount (I used up my registration slot early by using the link over Wi-Fi the day before, which used up my mobile data). 4. **Water Park:** The room indicated complimentary tickets for two adults and one child. 'Child' means under 120cm, which is already free, so the hotel giving another 'complimentary' ticket felt a bit redundant. There are three pools in total. The largest one had a suitable water temperature, but the two smaller pools were cold. There were children running and playing wildly on the slides, and I suggest staff supervise and remind them to be careful. There are many outdoor hot springs, but one bubble pool was super cold, and the bubbles were covered in dirty mud, with no one cleaning it. There was also a lack of information about the outdoor hot springs; you had to walk to each one to find out the temperature and what kind of spring it was. There was no conditioner in the showers, so I recommend bringing your own. 5. **Kids' Club:** It was quite small, and the provided socks weren't non-slip. The kids played for a bit and then got bored. 6. **Hotel Breakfast:** The wontons were nowhere to be found... but all the bread was delicious! A hot bowl of noodles chased away the autumn chill. The corn porridge was mislabeled as millet porridge. Overall, there wasn't a huge variety of dishes, for example, only two types of cold dishes and two types of fruit. 7. **Service:** Feedback was addressed and handled promptly. The service was super satisfying!

The hotel boasts an elegant environment, making you feel like you have an entire mountain to yourself. Built into the hillside, the two-bedroom suite we booked this time was located mid-mountain. The hotel community has complete facilities, and the main entrance is fenced off with a gate, so the security is reassuring and makes you feel very safe. The shuttle service uses Voyah commercial vans, which are super comfortable! The staff helped with our luggage, which was very thoughtful and attentive. It's about 10 kilometers from Badaling Great Wall, and Shuiguan Great Wall is nearby and not crowded. Juyongguan Great Wall is also conveniently located on the way to Beijing South Station, so we stopped by, making our trip even more rich and fulfilling.

Pros: 1. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh air and truly beautiful surroundings. It's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the hotel's decor and maintenance are quite good. Our butler, Bella, was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful, taking care of every little detail. She met all our needs, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. 2. There's a wide array of facilities and activities, including a mountainside hot spring, indoor pool, Hatha yoga, singing bowl therapy, a gym, and a kids' club. It's perfect for families, and the kids' club is large and newly renovated – it just reopened in May. It's definitely more fun than the kids' clubs at other hotels I've visited. Plus, children aged 4 and up can be supervised for free, which made my little one super happy! 3. The room key card came with a park map, showing hiking trails. There's an easy 5-kilometer mountain boardwalk, perfect for families, where you can visit the Eight Planets viewing platforms. 4. The breakfast was impressive! They had steaks, lamb chops, and a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, the cured meats were generally a bit too salty. Cons: 1. For a 5-star hotel, there was no safe in the room. 2. While there's an abundance of kids' activities, most of them come with a fee. 3. Since the kids' club was newly renovated, the smell was quite strong, making my eyes and throat uncomfortable. Overall, we were still very satisfied. I imagine it would be even more atmospheric to visit in winter for the hot springs, though I expect it would be extremely crowded.

The height of the chairs and tables is a bit mismatched; you sink in quite a bit when you sit down. The bunk beds were a hit with the kids. Plus, there's a private indoor hot spring in the room, which is free and quite nice. The hotel breakfast is pretty average, with the variety and taste on par with a 3-star hotel in the city center. The hot spring is connected to the hotel, and you can re-enter until noon the next day by registering your room number. However, you do need to exchange your entry wristband.

This hotel is perfect for a family staycation! We chose a twin room and had them combine the beds, and we pre-booked bed rails. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for families with children. The best part is that it's pet-friendly too! The hotel package also included access to iQIYI Kids' Playground and a hot spring. The kids' playground offered unlimited entry on the day of validation, while the hot spring was a one-time entry. There's an indoor water slide, which is great for older children. It was quite busy during the holiday, and the breakfast queue started forming before 9 AM.

I chose this star-rated hotel for my business trip, and it absolutely delivered on luxury—the experience was fantastic. The location deserves a special mention; it's incredibly convenient for getting around. You can walk to Metro Line 1 and Line 5, making travel effortless. Just 50 meters left from the hotel entrance is a mall with so many shopping and dining options, it's hard to choose—all your retail and food cravings are easily satisfied. The room was an even bigger surprise. It was incredibly spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view; lying in bed and enjoying the scenery was pure bliss. The amenities were comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept like a log, straight until morning—it was incredibly refreshing. The breakfast was also noteworthy, with a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options. I was very satisfied every morning. I had such a pleasant stay these past few days that I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

For our Mid-Autumn Festival staycation with our 7-month-old baby, we chose the jungle-themed family room at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center. Before check-in, our butler, Ms. Silvia, contacted us in advance to arrange a bed rail and connecting beds, and also pre-booked afternoon tea for us. The room was full of childlike charm, and our baby was incredibly curious and captivated by everything. The hotel's lawn was also perfect for playing. The room was clean and hygienic, with a great view, directly overlooking the Liangma River. The staff were enthusiastic, interacting warmly with our baby, and even left small mooncakes during turn-down service. The breakfast, delicatessen, and Paulaner Bräuhaus all offered good quality food. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay! The only issue was that there's no direct elevator from the underground parking to the lobby, which was inconvenient when handling luggage.

Staying at the Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza during the National Day holiday was a fantastic experience overall. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Wangfujing Street and close to a subway station, making it incredibly convenient for visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and seamless. When we requested a late check-out, a staff member named Amy responded quickly and arranged it perfectly, showing that the hotel highly values its guests' experience. The room was clean and tidy with good lighting, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a high-quality rest. The staff were friendly and patiently answered all our questions. Even with a large number of guests during the holiday, the service remained consistently excellent and attentive. The Four Seasons Hotel Beijing is the most convenient hotel for US visa interviews, just a 7-8 minute walk away, and only 4 minutes from Liangmaqiao subway station. You can even enjoy views of the Liangma River from your room. I had some ice cream at the lobby bar on the first floor, and it was absolutely delicious! I also tried the T-bone steak at the Italian restaurant MIO; its design and comfort still hold up today. I had a spa treatment on the 6th floor, though the spa rooms definitely need a renovation! I particularly want to highlight the hotel's excellent service. A very enthusiastic girl at the front desk (who shares an English name with Eason Chan) was particularly helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and the turndown service was very well done. However, the room facilities are quite dated, especially the toilet. If they can't replace the toilet, at least a small shelf for phones would be helpful. Also, the bottled water in the room comes in cans, which might look high-class, but it's very inconvenient for women with long nails – I had to use a spoon to open it every time!

My stay at Rosewood Beijing completely exceeded my expectations. I booked the Grand Premier King room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The room facilities were exquisite and high-quality, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I booked an Executive King Room, and the hotel upgraded me to a suite, which I then upgraded myself to their signature panoramic view room. The view was excellent, offering a 270-degree view from three sides, directly facing the bustling Sanlitun Taikoo Li commercial district. This is one of Beijing's most vibrant areas, with many events, such as the outdoor fashion week happening right downstairs during my stay. The hotel's location is superb, surrounded by malls, bars, and restaurants. There's a constant flow of people and traffic throughout the day and well into the night. The InterContinental Club on the 22nd floor offered morning tea and afternoon tea with fewer crowds and excellent service – even more welcoming and attentive than other hotels. The gym and swimming pool were both good and not crowded at all. The emotional value of standing by the window in the panoramic view room and enjoying the scenery was truly immense. The downside, however, is the price; I wouldn't have been able to afford it if the hotel hadn't given me a discount. Also, the electric curtains on the front and both side panoramic windows are linked, meaning that most of the time, to block out the view of the neighboring guest room from one side, the other panoramic curtain also has to be closed, which is quite frustrating. It would be better if they were manual curtains instead.

I brought my parents and child to Beijing for the Mid-Autumn Festival. My mom wanted to visit the Temple of Heaven, my dad wanted to eat Chen Ji braised offal, and my child wanted to see the Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was a busy schedule! The hotel's location is excellent. There's a side entrance less than 20 meters from Dengshikou Subway Station. Dongdan, Wangfujing, and Longfu Temple are all within walking distance. You can city walk and experience the hutongs or go shopping. Famous restaurants like Dongdan Nanmen Shuanrou, Kaorou Liu, and Bianyifang are all conveniently nearby. As an old five-star hotel, the service is top-notch – attentive but not intrusive, very comfortable and proper. The breakfast has a good variety of freshly made items; the scrambled eggs, beef noodles, and waffles were all delicious. The front desk and concierge staff were all very professional and proactive, quick to respond. They truly deserve praise. The pool design is also very thoughtful, with a small hot spring pool. In the morning, when the sun shines on it, it's absolutely beautiful. The steps and stone materials around the pool blend seamlessly with the environment. The family room was originally a corner room with a portable bed added. The portable bed was a bit short and the mattress was soft. Because the hotel is older, the outlets have been retrofitted. You can also see the effort put into maintenance from the cleanliness and attention to detail. However, the facilities are indeed old; the bathroom door was hard to slide open and close, and the cabinet doors were also worn. It's precisely because of its age that we were able to stay at a hotel with this location and service for this price. Very satisfied.

We had a fantastic stay and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, always even greeting us at the door, opening doors and checking cars for belongings left behind after long shopping trips. The hotel has a beautiful, luxurious atmosphere, with excellent facilities including a very well-equipped gym and separate men’s and women’s sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool and hot tub. There is also an onsite spa opened till 2am! The ‘This Works’ bathroom toiletries in the rooms were a lovely touch and smelled wonderful. Breakfast was outstanding, with an impressive selection and freshly prepared omelettes, steamed buns and pancakes. The English-speaking staff were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay and provided great recommendations of places to see and where to eat close by. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Nanjing Road and the Bund. Overall, a beautifully presented hotel with genuinely excellent service — we would happily stay here again and am glad we chose to stay here as there are an overwhelming amount of choices available but we feel we made a great choice!

My friend was only staying in Shanghai for a day, so naturally, I wanted to give her an itinerary that offered both 'old-world charm and new-age chic.' While passing Nanjing West Road recently, this InterContinental 'Luxury Collection' hotel immediately caught my eye. And just as I expected, critical as she is, she complimented my taste the moment she walked in. Its most appealing features are its convenient location and its ability to be a tranquil oasis amidst the bustle: step outside, and you're on the vibrant Nanjing Road; turn around, and you're in the quiet serenity of a residential area. My friend said the elevator decor instantly made her feel like she'd 'traveled through time,' and that unique 'Haitian style' evoked long-lost memories of Shanghai. She had originally come to sightsee but happily spent most of her day lingering at the hotel. What she loved most were the terrace and the restaurant. On a summer evening, the breeze felt just like those childhood nights spent cooling off in the alleyways – she used to live in a Shikumen house. She remarked, 'If only I could lie in a wicker chair, fan myself with a palm-leaf fan, eat watermelon, and watch an outdoor movie, that would be truly divine.' She also adored the red hanging ornament in the lobby; it was vibrantly bright, yet its glass texture gave it a lively feel, much like Shanghai's character – passionate yet steady, with a touch of lightness within its composure. The food did not disappoint either. I pushed her to try the Shiqipu Noodle Restaurant, where the owner asked in Shanghainese, 'Mi dao ai hao fa?' (Is the taste good?), and she smiled and replied, 'Authentic,' instantly tearing up. She specifically bought the sweet variety of butterfly pastries from the International Hotel – saying 'only sweet is truly Shanghai.' Her only regret was: having stayed in too many foreign-style grand hotels, this time, with Shanghai elements everywhere and Shanghai flavors in every bite, it was 'just missing the sound of Shanghai.' Perhaps the cicada chirps in the alleyways and the hawkers' cries from the Shikumen are the hometown sounds she truly yearns to hear. However, she has already declared: the next time she returns, this will be her chosen hotel, and she plans to visit all the routes I arranged. I believe the charm of Shanghai has never been in its superficial glamour but in its ability to always find the most fitting way to blend East and West, ancient and modern, living as a unique 'Haipai' (Shanghai style). This is also the root that every Shanghainese person cherishes. Below are the three half-day itinerary options I created for her, which I've also compiled here, hoping they might help someone else: Option 1 · A Stroll Through Old Shanghai Charm Start from the hotel's main entrance on Fengyang Road and turn into Huanghe Road. The Changjiang Building and Changjiang Theater were the last residences of Eileen Chang; Huanghe Road is the origin of 'Blossoms Shanghai' (Fan Hua). The International Hotel is where her mother and aunt once stayed; next to it, the Sports Museum is rumored to be where Eileen Chang used to study. Diagonally opposite is the History Museum (formerly the Racecourse); the East Wing houses the old bronze lions from the HSBC Building on the Bund, and the 'Echoes of Shanghai' exhibition in the West Wing happens to talk about the past of Fengyang Road. The ornate windows of the West Wing and the Changjiang Building, mirroring the hotel's architecture, perfectly showcase the most fashionable Art Deco style of the 1930s. Option 2 · Tracing Red Memories Walk along Chengdu North Road to the Secretariat of the China Labor Movement, to see how Shanghai workers united into a revolutionary force; then visit the former site of the Songpu Special Committee. Go to the Sihang Warehouse to hear the echoes of the Battle of Shanghai and see the bullet-riddled walls recount the tragedy of that year. At night, turn into Xiang Kang Li on Xinchang Road to find the former site of the CCP Central Committee's secret printing press; on Nanjing West Road, there is also the former site of the Soviet Liaison Office, where, amidst the flickering lights, memories of the past reside. Option 3 · Modern and Retro Collision The LV 'Big Boat' on Nanjing West Road is currently a popular spot for photos; after visiting, turn into Wujiang Road for shopping and dining, and further ahead is Zhangyuan Shikumen – where new trends emerge in old alleyways, perfect for capturing stunning photos. We stayed in a lovely room with a balcony. The housekeeping was wonderful and came every day during our stay. The view of the Bund from the elevator waiting area/lobby was really nice, especially in the evening. Highly recommend staying at Blossom House!

I had a very satisfying stay. The lobby atmosphere and environment were excellent, and the location was superb. It's only a 15-minute walk to The Bund and Nanjing Road, making it convenient for taxis and public transport. The room was simple, clean, and well-equipped with all facilities in good working order. You could see the 'three-piece set' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers of Shanghai) and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower from the window. The front desk service was attentive, and check-in was quick and easy, not taking much time at all. The room was very well-maintained and even had a mini-bar and complimentary snacks. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Facilities: This is an old-school five-star hotel. While the style has a bit of history to it, everything is impeccably clean. It truly showcases the quality of a five-star hotel and makes you feel at ease. Hygiene: Nothing to complain about, absolutely excellent! Spotless. Environment: Many foreigners stay here, making it feel like you're abroad. Of course, Shanghai is indeed an international metropolis, and you see a lot of foreigners on the streets. Service: I have to complain about the hotel's breakfast, specifically the noodle and wonton station right at the entrance. You're a five-star hotel, after all. Yet, the wontons and noodles are pre-cooked. If you want some, they just roll them around in the broth, which is incredibly perfunctory. They taste mushy. It really cheapens the experience. They even give you a tag and tell you to pick it up after three minutes. Does it really take three minutes to swish something in a pot? It's out in 20 seconds, tops. However, the egg pancakes are made fresh! An egg pancake requires tomatoes, onions, minced meat, mixing, spreading, rolling, and plating – wow, that sounds like a lot of work, right? But they make each one fresh, and you have to wait for it. If no one orders, they just leave the pan empty! You guys are truly dedicated! Perhaps wontons and Chinese noodles just don't 'agree' with hotel settings, and they have to be pre-cooked. That's a tough pill to swallow.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It's only a 15-20 minute walk to the Bund. This time I stayed in an executive room which included breakfast and access to the executive lounge. The breakfast spread was very generous with a wide variety of choices, and the food tasted good too. The only downside was that the room showed clear signs of wear and tear, with dark stains around the bathtub. Also, getting a taxi was a bit inconvenient as drivers often didn't know how to get to the lobby on the second floor.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I booked an executive twin room with my child. The room was clean, and its location right in the heart of Jing'an Temple makes dining and taking the subway incredibly convenient. I first booked it because of its proximity to Eileen Chang's former residence, Changde Apartment, and I booked it again because of its excellent location and service. My child particularly loves the hot spring pool here. We also ate several meals at CP Jing'an this time, which was very convenient. However, you need to watch the time when taking a taxi. I noticed during this trip to Shanghai that Jing'an Temple is really congested. Getting to the hotel was a constant jam, and the ride to the airport was also quite slow. The hotel breakfast is excellent! There's a wide variety, and I always eat too much. Check-out time is also very flexible; my flight was at 4 PM, and the front desk staff kindly extended our check-out to 1:30 PM, which was fantastic service. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

Decent stay, but several misses for a 5-star property My stay at the Pullman Shanghai Central was a mixed bag—nice in some areas, but disappointing in others. Check-in: The staff were very friendly and welcoming on our first day. However, I was surprised that they wouldn't let me check in until 3:00 PM. At most other hotels, I'm usually able to get an early check-in (even if I arrive at noon), so this felt a bit rigid for a property of this level. The Room: The room itself was comfortable—the bed was soft and the shower pressure was actually perfect (not too strong, not too weak, just right). Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke upon arrival. To their credit, when I called the front desk, they immediately offered to change my room, which was very professional of them. Breakfast: This was the biggest letdown. The breakfast buffet felt more like what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel rather than a 5-star Pullman. The quality and selection just weren't there for me. Overall: It was an okay stay—nothing terrible, but nothing exceptional either. I wouldn't rate it a 10/10, more like a solid 6. Good service from the staff, but the check-in policy, smoke issue, and food really held it back.

The room was spacious enough, and the location was absolutely superb, offering an unobstructed view of the Bund right across the street. It's right next to Binjiang Park, so you just cross the road and you're by the river. Super Brand Mall is right next door, and the Pudong Art Museum is also very close. There are plenty of dining options nearby as well. Whether you're in a car or walking, the 'Three Piece Set' (Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center) is constantly in view. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score is because there was no bidet.

I apologize for not remembering the name of the lovely lady who checked us in, but her recommendations for hotel benefits really saved us some money. The river view room was decent, and watching the lights of Pudong Development Bank from it was worth the price. Although it shows some signs of age, 'The Lion King' (referring to the Ritz) is still a worthy visit among the luxury brands in the city.

I came for a relaxing and healing break during the National Day holiday, and the entire stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel environment is secluded and peaceful, and the wooden guest rooms are warm and soothing. The Eath mattress, various pillows, sleep aid device, and wellness bath sachets were all provided, ensuring an exceptionally sound night's sleep. The balcony offered a wide view, and the hot tub was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. The Hengyue Xinshe hot spring, singing bowls, and yoga workshop activities were abundant, and there were also special craft experiences during the National Day, creating a strong holiday atmosphere. I must especially praise our dedicated butler, Yoyo! Despite the large number of guests during the holiday, Yoyo was attentive and thoughtful throughout. During check-in, she meticulously explained all the healing facilities in the room and provided a personalized wellness tea based on my constitution. Any requests were responded to incredibly quickly.

I stayed one night at Yuansu Hot Spring Hotel in Shanghai, and the overall experience was better than expected. The room was very clean and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. My favorite part was the private hot spring tub in the room. After returning in the evening, I could soak anytime without needing a reservation, which offered excellent privacy. The hotel also offers therapeutic activities like meditation. Unfortunately, I only stayed one night and didn't have much time to try them, but they seemed quite unique. Parking at the hotel is very convenient, with plenty of spaces available. If you're driving, you basically don't have to worry about parking. The hotel staff provided excellent and patient service. They were always quick to help with any issues and spoke very kindly. Even though it was just a one-night stay, the overall experience was great. If I'm looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy a hot spring in Shanghai in the future, I would definitely consider coming back here.

I visited Qianyun after looking at dozens of places in the area. I wanted to be away from typical city area, have a bathtub and nice outdoor area, and with easy access to Shanghai Disneyland. Qianyun met all those requirements and more! The location was immediately very serene and surrounded by forest, but still easy to access lots of waimai food delivery options. They were also very kind and proactive about sharing information about local restaurants and activities, and provide a breakfast and evening fruit every day. They offer free car transport to Disneyland, and I was excited to use this service but I ended up enjoying my time at the hotel so much that I opted to stay and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere instead! The hotel pets are so friendly - within five minutes the little cat Banban was on my lap and purring. The room itself is decorated very nicely with all the amenities you need. The bathtub inside is very comfortable and I loved the outdoor hot spring tub as well. The attention to hygiene is very highly emphasized and I was impressed with how clean and luxurious everything felt. I will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone hoping to have a convenient getaway from the city, or who would like to be near to Disneyland Resort while also experiencing a more peaceful area and for a good economical value and high quality service! Thankyou for the wonderful stay, I felt very welcome at all times.

The Peace Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the face of Shanghai; as a Shanghainese myself, I'm so proud of it! I particularly recommend their guided tours, held daily at 10 AM and 2 PM. The half-hour explanation gives you insight into its century-long history, and there are many beautiful crafts to admire too. The breakfast selection is also very rich, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our favorites like wontons, potstickers, and soup dumplings. Just a small suggestion: it would be even better if low pillows were available. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends. I waited a long time for a wrap, only for it to be quite unappetizing. I noticed a staff member serving youtiao (fried dough sticks) – one hand had a glove, the other didn't, and they used their bare hand to break the youtiao to put into a wrap. At the noodle station, the noodles were placed so far back and so high up that it was really inconvenient for guests to get them. The staff standing nearby didn't offer any help. I recommend placing food items in more accessible locations. Overall, the dining options and management definitely need improvement.

A true hidden gem in this modern high-rise. The hotel is in the same building as the Novotel – specifically, Citadines occupies floors 15 to 18. The check-in experience is an absolute 10/10: the team is incredibly welcoming, offering coffee, tea, and small pastries, plus there's a very pleasant coworking space. The rooms feel like compact studios with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-sized fridge, and lots of storage. The bed and pillows are supremely cozy, and the shower… just wow! The water pressure is outstanding – truly a delight. The door goes from floor to ceiling, so steam from long, hot showers stays inside the bathroom. The sink area is a little tight, but perfectly fine for one or two people. Special shout-out: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real touch of luxury that I thoroughly enjoyed. This time was just a long weekend, and we had a fantastic, relaxing stay. The only small drawback: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe slightly farther. But the value for money is so excellent that what you save on the hotel more than covers a taxi ride. In fact, I had a 6:00 am train from Hongqiao and pre-ordered a Didi – it took just 15 minutes door to door, which was incredibly convenient for me. Considering how reasonable the price at Citadines already is, the Didi cost felt like nothing. That sealed the deal for me. Excellent location near to Grandview Mall. The hotel is very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen and washer. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are also spacious and clean. The reception at level 15 helps to collect our parcels and the security at level 1 helps to keep a look out for our digi. Just take note that ******* deliveries cannot be sent up to the room, must be collected at level 1 desk or from lockers just outside the door. Fabulous stay for us.

Before the end of the summer vacation, I brought my kids to Guangzhou and booked two deluxe twin rooms at Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel for two nights. Hotel Location: It's right by Exit D of Tiyu Xilu metro station. The hotel's first floor connects directly to Teemall, and Parc Central and Grandview Mall are also linked, making transportation very convenient. Whether it's malls, restaurants, or various community cafes, everything is nearby – extremely convenient. Room Facilities: We stayed in the most basic twin room, which was quite spacious and roomy. From our 15th-floor room, we could see the pool, offering a nice view. The room facilities were well-maintained, practical, and functional. Food and Beverage Service: The kids couldn't get up early in the mornings, and we wanted to try dim sum at nearby restaurants, so we didn't book breakfast. We bought a 3-drink pass at the lobby cafe and enjoyed coffee there, which was quite pleasant. Hotel Service: It was standard five-star service. After we arrived at the airport, my child realized they had left something in the room. The hotel proactively contacted us and arranged to have it sent home. We're very grateful for that. The hotel's location is excellent, so there are many business travelers and tourists. The first floor of the hotel is always bustling with people, which is great – where there are people, there's business.

The hotel looked better in the pictures than in real life! Honestly, the overall environment was decent, and there were several pleasant surprises during our stay, like the afternoon tea included in our package and the fruit platter specially provided at the hot spring. However, the downside was the hotel staff's somewhat aggressive upselling. They offered us a room upgrade but wanted an additional 80 yuan per hot spring tub (even though the room I booked already had a private tub!). Also, we had to pay extra for our child exceeding the limit, and this was only for a single entry (a multi-entry pass cost over 100 yuan per person, with no discount for hotel guests). What was even funnier was that each room was limited to 4 bottles of mineral water. We took 5 bottles the first night because we needed more water after using the hot spring, and then they wouldn't give us any more the next day! On checkout day, I wanted to take two bottles of water, but the front desk didn't even have any. Oh well, it's not like we're desperate for those two bottles. Overall, I'd say the hotel lacks generosity. I probably won't be booking here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at a type C suite with superb amenities like bathtub, big shower and a private pool 😍 Upon our arrival, the staff (Ally) was highly proficient and gave us a quick brush up on what to expect on the resort. She accompanied us to the room and even drove the golf cart herself. The most amazing person in the resort was Anna, their Customer Service Manager who went above and beyond by personally touring us inside the resort - Museum, temple as well as the presidential villa. She even took our photos and passionately shared about the resort and it's history. She is highly proficient in Mandarin despite being from Russia and not a native speaker. The hot springs were the highlight. We. Went there every day for 3 days and the amenities were too notch. We practically had the springs to ourselves. Bonus? We played tennis in one of the resorts 2 courts. Service was excellent too! While it rained that day, they mopped the court so we can play. Thank you to the staff for their dedication, excellent service and heart. We had an very good time with the free photography (3 photos) and paid extra for the other beautiful photos worth 2,000 yuan🤣 Well it was for a unique experience 👍 We would love to be back and being the kids!

The front desk ladies always greeted us with genuine smiles, and the bellmen on the first floor were always quick to open and close our car doors. Every time we returned to our room after being out, the air conditioning was perfectly cool, ensuring a good, quiet night's sleep. The hotel's breakfast milk tea was a bit cold; it would be perfect if it were warmer. The XO sauce fried pig intestine noodles were incredibly delicious, with a texture similar to dry-fried beef noodles. My mom loved the hotel's glutinous rice chicken. The restaurant staff were always quick to clear our trash and were always there when needed. The shower in the hotel room was fantastic; showering felt like therapy. I absolutely love this hotel! I will definitely stay here again next time!

I stayed at the hotel with my child over the weekend, specifically for the outdoor pool! So, after checking in, we headed straight there! First, I was quite impressed with the hotel staff's attitude. Before our arrival, knowing we were traveling with a child, they helped set up a small tent in the room, which my child really liked! The rooms are all above the 50th floor, spacious, and have great views! The only minor downsides, in my opinion, are that the bathroom lighting is a bit dim and the hot water takes a while to come on; I had to wait a few minutes for hot water in the shower! The outdoor pool isn't very big, and it wasn't crowded, but it's a bit of a walk to get there, and you have to pass through the banquet hall! This design seems a bit unreasonable... My child and I had already changed into our swimsuits and bathrobes in the room, planning to go straight to the pool. We didn't realize we'd have to walk through the banquet hall, where there was a wedding party setting up, with bridesmaids and groomsmen everywhere. Walking through the middle of them was truly mortifying! So embarrassing... I think if this is the case, guests should be informed at check-in; otherwise, it really detracts from the experience!

A special mention goes to the team at the 礼宾室 (Concierge). Since I had ordered quite a lot of items online during our stay, I ended up visiting them many times to check on deliveries. They were always patient, helpful, and welcoming, taking the time to assist me with checking the packages and greeting us warmly every time. Their attitude really made us feel welcomed. The housekeeping team also deserves special praise. Whenever we were heading out, they would kindly remind us to bring water and check the weather for the day. Since we were travelling with a baby, they also thoughtfully provided additional towels and toiletries, which was a very nice touch and showed genuine attention to our needs. The location is also excellent. The hotel is around 1 km from 北京路步行街, which was an easy and pleasant walk for us. There are also plenty of local eateries nearby. I especially enjoyed visiting 广银肠粉 for 艇仔粥 and 嘉琪饼家 for 菠萝包 — I ended up going to both almost every day! Overall, this was a very comfortable and family-friendly stay, made even better by the genuinely friendly and attentive staff. The service really stood out to us, and we would be happy to stay at DoubleTree by Hilton again.

Interesting: glass wall between room and bathroom, it can be covered by a curtain if necessary. Positive: very quiet despite its proximity to the airport, swimming pool for the guests, shuttle bus starts airport transfer at 5 a.m, breakfast starts at 5:30 a.m. Negative: too few electrical sockets, one of two beds had no sockets at all (!), absence of Type C sockets at all.

I felt truly at home. The service standards of this long-standing five-star hotel haven't slipped one bit, which is commendable. The room was very clean and offered the best view and location. The swimming pool is quite large and comfortable for a hotel, with both indoor and outdoor options. Nancy Li from housekeeping also provided detailed and thoughtful service, trying her best to fulfill any requests. The quality of the staff reflects the high-level training provided by the hotel management. I had originally purchased a package, but due to health reasons, the hotel promptly canceled one night, which I appreciate. This hotel was perfect for attending Chen Chusheng's concert. It's just one subway stop from University Town, so getting back to the hotel quickly after the show was a breeze. A big shout-out to Guangzhou's excellent management; the order was fantastic! The hotel's location deserves full marks – it's right by subway exit A, super close! 😁 The higher floor offered great views, and the room was spacious. The breakfast had delicious bread and waffles 🧇, tasty freshly made rice noodles, and plenty of fruit. We enjoyed the views while we ate. Both the floor staff and the ground floor attendants were very friendly. If you have time, you can also walk along the greenway on the island. The only downside is the price, around 500 a night, but overall, it was a good experience.

The cons are also clear: the facilities are a bit old, the parking lot is narrow, it's not smart at all, and there aren't even enough power outlets. Not to sound exaggerated, but Grand ParcVue Hotel is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Having travelled to many countries and stayed in different types of hotels, I would rank the overall experience and service here among the top tier. I stayed in a Deluxe King Room for 3 days and 2 nights and was already impressed upon arrival. I checked in at around 1am and was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff before being assigned a room on the 23rd floor. There was a slight unpleasant smell in the room, possibly coming from the kitchen, but it wasn't a major issue as I could close the doors to prevent it from coming in. I bought an air freshener myself, and what impressed me was that the manager came personally the next day to check on the situation and even provided an air purifier. The breakfast was another highlight. I enjoyed trying the local dan dan noodles, and I noticed many international guests from Korea, Japan and Western countries. The dining hall staff were all friendly and professional. The gym on the 6th floor was also surprisingly well-equipped, with a good selection of dumbbells and machines for a full-body workout. Even more impressive was the Relaxation Room on the 7th floor, where guests can enjoy several massage chairs 24 hours a day. There is also a Business Lounge on the same floor, which is a great place for meetings, conversations or simply getting some work done. The hotel is also directly connected to Yanlord Mall, so you will never have to worry about finding restaurants or shops. Do note that it is a high-end mall, so food there can be relatively expensive. One thing I particularly appreciated was the hotel's hospitality even after checkout—I was offered access to the Business Lounge on my final day so I could conduct my online classes comfortably before heading to the airport. Overall, I had an excellent stay at Grand ParcVue Hotel. The combination of great facilities, convenient location and, most importantly, genuinely attentive service made this stay memorable. I would have no hesitation booking this hotel again if I return to Chengdu. **Highly recommended!**

The room wasn't as old as some online reviews suggested; it was clean and comfortable. After checking in around 3 PM, I showered and rested before heading out. When I returned, the turndown service had tidied up and refreshed things. The view wasn't spectacular, but the night view offered a distant glimpse of Tianfu, where you could see the Yin-Yang pattern. The 'five meals a day' concept was indeed excellent. It was conveniently located on the same floor as the lounge, giving it a homey, 'just walk over to your living room' feel. I skipped breakfast but experienced everything else. The afternoon tea looked lovely, but if I stayed another day, I wouldn't want the full set; I dislike waste, so I preferred the self-service options. The freshly prepared dishes for lunch and dinner were fantastic. I wasn't a fan of the butler's excessive enthusiasm, but then again, it also felt a bit strange to have no one around at all – maybe my status wasn't high enough. I decided to stay here after reading many reviews, so I wanted to write a more detailed one for others. If my next trip isn't too rushed, I would definitely choose this place again. Oh, and many people mention asking for the little lion souvenirs; honestly, they're quite ugly. I'd only take one if it were offered proactively. Buy one? No way.

We had a one-night stay at The St. Regis Chengdu. Overall, the hotel was well maintained, with excellent cleanliness throughout the property. The room was clean, as were the common areas such as the lift lobby and gym. The hotel staff, including the Front Desk, Concierge and Bell Team, were attentive, professional and readily available to assist. Their service contributed positively to our stay and reflected the level of hospitality expected of a St. Regis property. However, the comfort and functionality of the room assigned to us could be improved. The mattress felt somewhat sunken and was not as firm or comfortable as expected. Given the standards associated with the St. Regis brand, we felt that the sleeping comfort could have been better. There were also a few functional issues. The quick-dial “Reception” button on the room telephone was not working, leaving us uncertain whether to press 0 or 9 when assistance was required. In addition, the touch-sensitive buttons in the room were not particularly responsive, which made them less intuitive and convenient to use. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The St. Regis team delivered good and attentive service, and the property was clean and well maintained. However, the room comfort and some of the in-room functions fell short of the standards we would expect from a St. Regis property.

I very like the carpetted room but I found few strains of hair left, the housekeepers could do abit more hard vacuum during cleaning I guess. Others were spotless. There a lot of eateries and shops around the hotel and this is very convenient for guests. The local post office is nearby for someone love to postcross too. Very recommend this hotel for all travellers coming to Chengdu.

The room was simply decorated, clean, and featured a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. During my stay, the breakfast particularly stood out. It offered both Chinese and Western options, and there were many international guests who seemed to enjoy it immensely. The breakfast even included Panda Ice Jelly, which was adorable and delicious. Every day, the room was cleaned thoroughly, and water refilling and towel changes were done promptly. A gentleman cleaned our room for several days, and he deserves praise!

The staff who helped us with our luggage to the room also didn’t really introduce the hotel or its facilities, and the security guard we met on our first night didn’t seem very friendly either. These small things made our first impression of the service a little disappointing. Luckily, things became much better from the second day onwards. The staff we met later, especially on our check-out day, were friendly, warm, and always willing to help. Their attitude really made a difference and improved our overall experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious and there were plenty of choices every morning. The location is another big plus. It’s very convenient and easy to get around and explore the area. Despite the slightly disappointing start, we still enjoyed our stay. A warmer and more personal welcome on arrival would definitely make the experience even better. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. We’re convinced that Sungold is the perfect base to explore Chengdu and other attractions in Sichuan. We’re off to Dujiangyan and Qingchen, and will be back here again for another 2 nights!

The minibar and complimentary laundry service were a nice touch. Service was prompt and the staff were friendly. However, shortly after I booked, the pool was suddenly announced to be closed. When I spoke to the front desk, they said they didn't have the authority to upgrade me to a suite. Upon check-out, they mistakenly charged for the complimentary laundry service. I only realized it after leaving and had to go back to remind them to refund the extra deposit, which was a bit annoying.

This is my second stay at Jinjiang Hotel, and once again, the room was quiet and tidy, and the service was excellent. They called me a day in advance to confirm my needs, and upon check-in, the front desk provided all the necessary information and even upgraded my room. A staff member escorted me to the room and gave me a small panda toy. Fresh fruit was replenished daily, and the mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary chilled beer and soft drinks, which was a very welcome touch, especially with the hot weather in Chengdu. The breakfast was quite comprehensive, and the braised beef was particularly good. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, not far from various attractions, and you can even see egrets along the river right outside. Staff members Li Shihao and Huang Qiumei were diligent and provided thoughtful service. I would definitely consider staying at Jinjiang Hotel again on my next trip to Chengdu.

The breakfast selection is quite rich, featuring handmade Dan Dan noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons), as well as pan-fried buns, all of which are delicious. They offer three different Haagen-Dazs ice cream flavors daily, and the rum raisin and macadamia nut flavors are particularly good. The bread offered at breakfast is also exceptionally tasty, with classics like almond croissants, floss bread, and muffin cupcakes. I want to extend a special thank you to the hotel's management and operations team for their professional, warm, and thoughtful service during my family's stay. The security guard was also very kind and welcoming. The front desk staff was diligent and responsible. The room wasn't huge, but it was very elegant, and the bedding was super comfortable. There are lots of great food options nearby, and it's really close to Chunxi Road. If you want to go to Sanxingdui, you can just take a bus from Chunxi Road. Chengdu truly is a relaxing city! After a long day of sightseeing, coming back and having some tea was just perfect. The front desk even gave us a Wenshu Monastery prayer bracelet with 18 beads!

Our flight was delayed, and we arrived at the hotel in the early morning. The male front desk staff on duty was fluent in English and very kind, which made our late check-in smooth. The hotel room furniture and amenities are a bit dated, but overall they were kept clean. However, we had a very unpleasant experience at the fitness center. After using the swimming pool, we tried to use the spin dryer in the changing room, but it didn't work. When we asked the fitness staff for help, they rudely dismissed the issue and bluntly said it was impossible without even checking. Fortunately, when we inquired at the 1st-floor lobby, a staff member named William helped us deal with this issue. He personally accompanied us back to the fitness center and thoughtfully arranged for us to use the staff dryer. We are deeply grateful for William’s professional and kind service. That being said, the hotel needs to address a few operational issues: The mini spin dryer in the changing room should be repaired or replaced promptly. The senior staff member at the fitness center showed a poor professional attitude —shirked responsibilities by pushing tasks onto a subordinate who claimed that day was her first day working at the hotel fitness center (believe it or not), and was impolite to guests. Service retraining for the fitness center staffs is strongly recommended.

Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The hotel is located in Nanping, which is actually quite convenient. It's just a taxi ride across the Yangtze River Bridge, or a 5-minute walk from Metro Line 3. It's an older hotel, but generally clean, though there is a slight musty smell. The suites come in two types: '20' offers a slight river view, while '10', which I initially got, had virtually no view. After speaking to the front desk, they moved me to a '20' suite on a higher floor the next day, which was excellent service. The room also had cute little bears. The hotel breakfast was just okay; for a picky eater like myself, a German brand hotel not offering pretzel bread for breakfast is something I think could be improved. The package also included a complimentary beer, which was very refreshing on a hot summer day. Overall, it offers great value for money. Plus, there's a super delicious beef noodle shop downstairs, which is definitely a bonus.

This hotel is located right across from Bayi Square and is also close to the subway. Stepping out, you're on Bayi Road Food Street, where you can find all sorts of local specialty snacks. The staff were very warm and attentive. When we arrived, they immediately offered us refreshing lemon and plum juice from the hotel's self-service, which was incredibly crisp and tasty. Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. Across the street from the hotel, you get a great mountain view, and you can even spot the Golden Eagle. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food and exploring!

This is an older five-star hotel, and my stay was just average. They strictly enforce the 3 PM check-in time. We arrived in Chongqing in the morning and couldn't check in, so we stored our luggage and went out. We came back around 1 PM, asked the front desk, but still couldn't check in. They said our deluxe suite had a late checkout and housekeeping hadn't finished cleaning it. We had to wait until 3 PM, so we had no choice but to wait in the hotel lobby. It felt quite rigid, without consideration for basic guest needs. After we checked in, one of the two bathrooms in the suite had a broken overhead shower. There were no welcome fruits, and the hotel didn't have a room service robot, so we had to go downstairs ourselves to pick up our takeout, which was inconvenient. I can only say its advantage is its excellent location; it's very convenient to get anywhere from the hotel. The doorman helped with our luggage once, so that's a plus.

I absolutely loved the decor style of the Sheraton Chongqing Hotel. It's elegantly European, and from the moment I stepped in, I felt like I'd entered a palace – luxurious and grand. The hotel's location is convenient; it only took 30 minutes to get there from the airport with no traffic, and getting around by taxi is very easy. The room decor is opulent. I read reviews saying the hotel was a bit old, but it's exceptionally well-maintained and looks like it's only 5 or 6 years old. The hotel service is excellent; the front desk staff are very warm and promptly followed up on all my check-in requests. Even for a guest like me with many demands, they were incredibly patient and helped arrange every single thing. This is highly commendable. The hotel's unbeatable river view is definitely something out-of-town friends should experience. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.  Everyone was so nice and kind.  The service was top- notch.  The amenities were plenty and easy accessible.   A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet.  The view was so beautiful and calming as well.   Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.     I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see.   When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see.   It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions.  I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing,  SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views.  Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions.  Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.    If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights. It's a five-star hotel, and the lobby, hallways, and even the six elevators are quite grand. However, being over ten years old, it does show its age a bit. I stayed in a duplex room, which was very spacious and satisfying in terms of size. What surprised me though was that in a two-bathroom setup, the downstairs bathroom didn't have a shower. The upstairs bathroom had a good wet and dry separation. But the shower drain was very slow; the water would quickly rise above your ankles when showering. I even changed rooms because of this, but the new room had the same issue. The room provided welcome fruit and drinks, and there was also an afternoon tea. Breakfast was served until at least 10 AM, I think even until 12 PM. There was also a refrigerator in the room. The hotel breakfast wasn't lacking in variety, but I always felt the quality wasn't very high. The hot dishes in the hot food section were mostly vegetarian, with only an occasional dish like minced pork with long beans appearing daily.

Definitely not recommended on WARM DAYS because the hotel will turn off AC completely. I stayed at this hotel from 5/8 to 5/11, In-room HVAC only worked on daytime when outdoor temperature reached about 30 degrees, in room temperature was cooling down and comfortable enough. However, the hotel shut down AC system at night because outdoor temperature is not hot enough, that leading to in room temperature went back to 27 degrees, I got totally sleepless. Understood the hotel tried to save money on electricity, but AC system is the one of basic amenity systems and should not shut down the mostly of the days. Moldy grout, moldy caulking are all around the shower, the picture attached. Non adjustable shower head with fixed holder need upgraded. That shows lack of the maintenance for rooms. Room attendant provided great service she could and made me feel comfortable and welcome. All failures are belonging the management related to budget control.

If you like quiet places, August at South Hot Spring is a great choice! We left after work on Friday and arrived quite late. There's an underground garage, and you can also park on the surface, right at the lobby entrance. Front desk staffer Xiao Zhang provided excellent service, promptly helping us with any issues. 👍 Our room had a private hot spring, and we chose a king-size bed room. The overall room size was a bit smaller than I expected, but it had all the amenities. I personally felt the bedding was a bit damp, and the room was stuffy when we first entered. The air conditioning worked well, though it was quite loud, as it's a bit old. The room also came stocked with potato chips, instant coffee, tea bags, soda, and mineral water, and they thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent. There were helpful notices posted in various places in the bathroom, showing good attention to detail. Aside from a few too-few outlets and the room being small and compact, I think it's still quite good.

I was on a business trip to Chongqing and had a friend book a popular influencer hotel for me. I couldn't stand it after one night. I switched to this hotel, but only booked two days, worried about the same situation. However, after checking in, I found both the hotel environment and cleanliness to be excellent. The hotel gym, in particular, had new equipment and great service, making me want to work out every day. I ended up extending my stay for another two days. It's a very good hotel, and I'll consider staying here again next time I'm in Chongqing. I also want to mention that this hotel is next to Changjiang International, so the views are especially good, and the night view is also excellent. The key is that there are many young people checking in for photos, which is quite a sight to see every day when coming and going. The only downside is that the doormen in the lobby lack service awareness. There were no measures to store umbrellas on rainy days, and they didn't bother to help with food deliveries, just telling guests to find the front desk, as if it had nothing to do with them. I hope this can be improved next time I visit.

The Chongqing noodles were spicy and fragrant, and there was a great selection of freshly baked bread, fruits, hot dishes, and desserts. After a satisfying meal, it was incredibly convenient to head out and explore IFS and Jiefangbei, given the hotel's excellent location. I especially want to thank Mia at the front desk! She was incredibly warm, had a kind smile, and was very efficient. She thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities, breakfast times, and nearby attractions. When we asked about the best spots for night view photos or good local food, she patiently gave recommendations, treating us like friends. Any issues we had during our stay were promptly and effectively resolved, which was truly reassuring. With stunning views, fantastic breakfast, a great location, and exceptional service (especially Mia's warmth, which added a special touch to our stay), I will definitely choose Niccolo Chongqing again on my next visit and recommend it to my friends. With classes resuming soon, the hotel wasn't overly crowded, and the booking price was quite reasonable, offering excellent value for money. **Environment:** This is one of the older hotels in Fairy Mountain, so the interior facilities in the rooms look a bit dated due to its age. However, the overall cleanliness is good, and the hotel is very quiet, making for a comfortable stay. Plus, the natural scenery around the hotel is fantastic, with attractions like Red Maple Stone Forest and grasslands. Guests staying at the hotel, as well as those from the adjacent Zhuoya Hotel, can access the vast grassland by swiping their room cards, which is very convenient. **Dining:** Since we only stayed one night, we mainly experienced the breakfast. The variety of dishes was quite rich, and the noodles were particularly delicious. **Service:** The staff were all very friendly and attentive to guests' needs, doing their best to accommodate requests. For our group of three, who booked a twin room, the front desk kindly arranged an extra breakfast portion for us. **Suggestions for Improvement:** When we went for breakfast and provided our room number, the staff checked and informed us that two people from our room number had already entered. This forced me to prove that we were indeed the legitimate guests of that room. The hotel could easily upgrade its system, perhaps by installing a machine to scan room cards for dining, which would avoid such awkward situations and simplify record-keeping. Also, we stayed in Building 1, and for some reason, possibly renovations, there was a knocking sound from construction work for both days we were there. Although they were careful with the timing, it was still a bit noisy for those who come to the mountain specifically to relax. The hotel might consider either not selling rooms in this building during the off-peak season to carry out renovations all at once or proactively inform guests about the times when construction noise might occur. **Overall Impression:** Overall, we were very satisfied, and my mom has already decided she wants to come back again. Just a few minor details could be improved upon.

An absolutely fantastic stay! I highly recommend the Vienna Hotel (Southwest University of Political Science and Law Branch). Service: The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional. Check-in was quick, and they answered all my questions, making me feel right at home. Environment: The hotel facilities are very new and spotless. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep.
