Das gesamte Haus sieht aus wie ein Museum, überall sind wunderschöne Dekorationen, Pflanzen, Hängepflanzen an den Balkonen, Antiquitäten oder Schnitzereien. Die Zimmertüren und teilweise die Inneneinrichtung sind wunderschön bemalt. Ein gepflegter Swimmingpool ist in der Mitte des Hotels. Es gibt in der offenen Lobby Kaffee und Tee gratis. TV im Zimmer- ein Kühlschrank wäre besser gewesen. Leider war mein Zimmer Nr. 232 das pure Gegenteil. Dunkel, Minibalkon zum Nachbarhaus ca. 1,5 m entfernt, Fenster in den dunklen Flur. Kein Sonnenlicht. Kein Kühlschrank, kein Schrank, keine Ablage, keine Aircondition nur ein Ventilator. Nur ein Bett, sehr harte Matratze mit fleckigem Laken, ein schmutziger Stuhl auf dessen Bezug man den Schmutz von mehreren Generationen erkennen konnte. Nur ein Schminkspiegel mit Tisch davor. Schlechte Beleuchtung, man konnte kaum lesen, keine Leselampe, kein Nachttisch etc. Der Boden war schmutzig, ich hatte Wasser verschüttet und wollte es aufwischen, mein Taschentuch war schwarz. An den Wänden diverse Jagderfolge und diverse Flüssigkeiten die da heruntergelaufen waren. Das Bad war soweit ok, der Duschhahn hat pausenlos getropft. Es gab einen Durchlauferhitzer, das war ok. Sogar die frischen Handtücher haben muffig gerochen, sobald sie nass wurden. Es gab die ganze Woche keinen Zimmerservice. Wenn ich frische Handtücher oder Klopapier brauchte, musste ich selbst fragen. Es gab 2 kleine Fläschchen Duschgel und Shampoo und eine Seife. Das hat aber nicht für 1 Woche ausgereicht. Rundum gab es ausreichend Lokale und Bars, Laundryservice etc. In die Stadt, Altstadt, Zentrum, Warorot Markt war es relativ weit. Ich habe mir an der Hauptstraße ein Fahrrad für 50THB/Tag gemietet, das war super. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ich durfte meine Medikamente in den Getränkekühlschrank in der Lobby legen, da ja angeblich kein Zimmer Kühlschrank oder Aircondition hat. Das Fahrrad durfte ich über Nacht in den Hintereingang stellen. Leider hat das alles das schreckliche Zimmer und mangelnde Sauberkeit nicht wett gemacht. Sehr schade. Das Ambiente wäre toll gewesen.

A place far far away from town and also Mon Jam. I was planning to stay 1 night in Mon Jam actually, however I didn’t noticed the homestay is another mountain from Mon Jam (called Pong Yaeng) which was Trip.com suggested to me when I search for hotels of Mon Jam. I booked it for family trip, we called the Grab to send us to there so that we can check in and drop the bags first. I must to say, the way to get to the homestay was quite thrilling cause the last section of the way were rugged mountain road, luckily the driver was expertly to send us there safely. After we settled down and want to go out to Mon Jam for sightseeing, there were no car to pick us up through Grab cause we were too far away from town. Although the host had help us to ask for the ride, there was no reply too. Even if yes, it cost around 400-500 THB which was very expensive tho. So we were stuck in the homestay to having the peace and silence. Luckily we can still order food from the host when we feeling hungry, having the meal with the mountain view and BBQ+hotpot for dinner were also some good experiences here. Actually the place was quite good and the host was very nice, I’m sure there would be a good place to stay if you are not concerned about the location and looking for some peaceful stay. But I would strongly recommend you to rent a car, motorbike or even a driver, just in case you want to go somewhere else for sightseeing. Or you can go to play or sightseeing before going to the homestay, it’s all up to you😉

With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip. We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you! Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this. We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons. As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv. Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!

I really like this place. It is very convenient to walk to Chiang Mai Gate. In the morning and evening, there are many food options in the old city. The accommodation is very chill. In the evening, we can sit and enjoy the atmosphere in the quiet and atmospheric local community. Near the accommodation, there is a local grilled fish shop that is very delicious. If I have a chance, I will definitely come back to stay again.

The hotel was great for the price. It’s a little far outside of the city center. You will definitely need transportation. I don’t recommend the motor bike rentals they suggest, as the price is double what you can find elsewhere. I specifically booked this hotel because it has balconies. I try to be a respectful smoker but they had signs stating that smoking isn’t permitted anywhere in the hotel. This is common a d why I booked a room with a balcony but they also had signs that smoking wasn’t allowed even on the balcony. I find this unreasonable. I chose not to obey that sign. I didn’t flaunt it and no one said anything.

Perfect place to stay before or after your flight to Chiang Mai. Actually, it’s super cool to stay here longer! The building is very new, with a cozy design and homey touches. It’s also very clean. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping is always smiling and does an excellent job—this place is spotless. It’s easy to find and not noisy at all. While you can hear the planes, it’s still quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep on the comfy bed. Each room has a small kitchen corner, but it’s a bit basic—there are only two forks and no good cups for coffee or tea. I’m sure the owners will improve this in the future. The bathroom is great—modern and hot—with a Japanese (or maybe Chinese) style. It reminds us of our last visit to beautiful Japan. The internet is fast—5G speed. If you have a car, parking is easy, with plenty of free spaces available. The price is good for the location and quality. We highly recommend this place. Una desagradable sorpresa: Al hacer el checking nos dimos cuenta de que el hotel está lleno de insectos, arañas y cucarachas de todos los tamaños he intentado cancelar la reserva a través de ágora pero al ser el día de check in ya no me permitía, he comprado un ser de desinfectante estropajo y anti insectos y han empezado a salir por todas partes, por lo que he reservado otro hotel en el que dormiremos, ya que viajo con una niña pequeña. Este hostal tiene un problema de plagas, una cosa es que sea económico y otra es que sea insalubre. La que dice ser la dueña ha dicho al comentarle la situación esta mañana ha dicho que ella no haría devoluciones. Este tipos de cosas deben saberse y advertirse ya que cuando llegas y lo ves no te hacen la devolución. La peor experiencia en alojamiento, no recomiendo.

Staying at the duplex here is super chill. The house is clean, a lot of space and bathroom is very convenient since they do wet and dry bathroom in the duplex. Parking is free at the parking they provided. The stream in front of the house is full of flow energy which that flowing sound makes my mind stay so calm. Worth the money and worth the driving.

During our visit to Glyn ChiangMai the day before New Year's, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at this restaurant located within a hotel.
