"We had an enjoyable stay here and the host was friendly and helpful. The room and bed was comfortable and it was located at a convenient location in the ancient city. The environment was also nice and they have 3 very cute cats! The host picked us up from the main street and helped to carry out luggages up the Stairs. He also gave us good advice on traveling and food options. Highly recommend!"

"Lokasi hotel sangat strategik, hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki dari Gerbang Selatan Bandar Lama, dikelilingi oleh jalan makanan. Mudah untuk mendapatkan teksi atau memesan makanan. Bilik-bilik selesa, dengan cadar yang bersih dan sesuai. Saya menempah dua bilik, satu untuk anak-anak dan satu untuk saya, kedua-duanya sangat baik. Cadar tidak terasa lembap dan sangat selesa. Persekitaran dalaman hotel sangat menakjubkan, dan mereka juga menyediakan pakaian percuma untuk sesi bergambar. Keluarga saya bergambar sehingga jam 10 malam pada malam ketibaan kami. Sarapan paginya enak dan sesuai dengan selera saya sebagai orang Utara. Saya mesti makan dua mangkuk mi beras setiap hari sehingga kenyang barulah saya puas. Akhir sekali, kakitangan perkhidmatan sangat mesra, proaktif dan berdedikasi. Hotel ini sangat disyorkan."

"We really enjoyed our stay here because the owner was very kind and helpful, they always smile at us, the hotel is nice, the room was very comfortable, clean, sterile, and fragrant, they also helped carry our suitcases, the owner is a husband and wife who treated us like family, we felt like home, they also helped pick up my package from taobao which almost got lost 🥹☺️. And they have a very cute dog named taopao 😍. The location of this hotel is very strategic close to the Bo’ai Gate and the South Gate, around the hotel there are many restaurants and supermarkets. I really recommend this hotel because the facilities are complete and the price is affordable, I will stay here again if I visit dali next time ☺️☺️"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Shanyuyishe Boutique B&B in Dali Ancient City. The location was perfect for us — tucked away in a peaceful corner near Dali Ancient City, yet only a short walk to the shops, cafés, and attractions. What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us with our luggage, preparing breakfast every morning, and always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious, especially the rice noodles, which we looked forward to each morning. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful courtyard and the overall peaceful atmosphere. A couple of things to note for families and travellers with larger luggage. The beautiful courtyard has a koi pond running through parts of it, which adds to the charm, but I was constantly keeping an eye on my kids as I was worried they might accidentally fall in. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it’s something parents with young children may want to be aware of. Another consideration is luggage. Vehicles can stop near the property, but you’ll still need to carry your luggage across parts of the courtyard. If you’re staying on Levels 2 or 3, there is no lift, so luggage has to be carried up manually. The owner was kind enough to help us, but it’s still worth considering if you’re travelling with multiple large suitcases. For our family room, one small downside was that although the room was very spacious, there was only one air-conditioner serving the entire unit. The smaller bedroom felt a little stuffy and warm at night. That said, the owner was very responsive and quickly provided us with a fan the next day, which made a huge difference and solved the issue for us. Overall, the warmth of the host, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and peaceful setting far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy and authentic stay in Dali. ❤️🏔️✨"

"Hotel ini mempunyai lokasi yang baik dan persekitaran yang baik. Terasa sangat selesa sebaik sahaja masuk. Hanya di seberang jalan dari hotel adalah Cangshan Gate. Di sebelahnya ialah Jalan Sanyue, tetapi ia tidak bising. Hotel ini sangat sunyi. Gim ini lengkap dan bersih (orang kecergasan sangat gembira). Saya telah tinggal di hotel begitu banyak kali, tetapi ini adalah kali pertama saya ingin memberikan penarafan lima bintang. Apa yang paling saya berpuas hati ialah meja depan. Lelaki kacak dan wanita cantik sangat baik dan sabar. Mereka telah sabar membantu saya menjawab soalan dan mempunyai rasa sempadan. Saya berasa sangat-sangat menyukainya, yang membuatkan saya lebih menyukai Dali."

"We and the children arrived at the Hotel at night, and the hotel welcomed us warmly and the service was very good. We booked a family room and there was a bathtub, so the children loved it very much. The room view also looked at a beautiful lake and mountains. The hotel price was quite cheap for us. The room was clean and spacious. We felt satisfied to stay here. The service was very good. Thank you for making us feel happy to stay here."

"We will be back! This felt like a home away from home, except it had such a wonderful view of the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

"A very cosy hotel with a beautiful garden inside. The staff is ready to answer any question, we stayed only for one night, but the accommodation was as comfortable as possible! There is an option not early breakfast, it is very convenient, as we like to sleep😁 Besides, there are a lot of cats and dogs in the hotel, it's extremely cute🥹"
