"The room was new and clean, with two skylights in the roof, so you could stargaze at night. The hotel was large, similar to a business hotel for large conferences, and parking was convenient. It was suitable for travelers to rest, but there didn't seem to be any attractions or restaurants nearby, so it wasn't suitable as a tourist destination."

"Nice enough modern hotel with comfortable le spacious twin room,( was a bit of an odour when we opened the door but seemed to disappear after 10 mins or so,was a party going on till early hours we were told but didn't really notice much noise,decent breakfast(had better)but good variety,wasn't able to use all facilities unfortunately as had to leave Earlish but would probably book again"

"My husband and I went in for the Valentines mea,It was Absolutely amazing a sharing starter we did not expect lovely surprise, I had the Chicken my husband had the cod wrapped in salmon both wete delicious and a board of beautiful sweet treats for pudding amazing all beautiful presented a large glass of Prosecco,all for £22-50 .The best meal we have had in a very long time and we have been to a lot of high class restaurants, The Raven is Top of them all...Our compliments to the chef and the very attractive staff..Thank you all for a lovely Valentines night our 58th together ❤️ xx"

Only 18 mins away from fair, comfortable rooms, has everything you need, Spanhoe situated in quiet countryside. Has good breakfasts and evening meals and drinks, so no need to look around for pubs etc. Owners Reece and Neil are 2 great guys who look after your needs very well. Great pool too."

"Stayed in the Raven in April 2026 for a friends wedding nearby. Very lovely hotel, clean rooms, well appointed, great food and drinks reasonably priced in the bar/restaurant and very friendly, helpful staff. Only slight improvements could be made in offering a hot breakfast rather than continental and maybe keeping the bar open a bit later on weekends. Otherwise though a very, very enjoyable stay"

"The accommodation was poor to put it politely. Our employee sent through pictures which showed bugs on the floor, a shower that was hanging off the wall and the shower head was black with dirt. Our business is all over the country and we have never had an employee complain like this. It was so bad they actually refused to stay there. We have tried to cancel further bookings but we do have to accept that when booking we accepted that it was a no refund policy. Please be cautious when booking this accommodation."

"Stunning little gem in the middle of nowhere! We enjoyed full use of the hot tub, pool and games room. Customer service was excellent, on tap if you needed anything but otherwise left to your own devices which was exactly what we wanted. Beautiful views over the fields. Best nights sleep we had in ages so peaceful and quiet. Have already got the next visit being planned!"
