Hyatt Place Glendale/Los Angeles
9.3 (56 ulasan)

Hyatt Place Glendale/Los Angeles ★★★

📍 225 W Wilson Ave, Glendale

"I booked a city view, but they assigned me a room with a fan? I changed the room right away, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the female staff member in charge was ******. It's not that there were no rooms, but it's ridiculous that they gave us a bad room that we didn't choose, which is an option that other people would avoid. I was sure of it when they never greeted us first as we were Asians as we walked around the lobby. It was the end of our trip and I was so tired, so I changed the room right away, but I regret not complaining strongly when I think of other Koreans who will come in the future. However, everyone except me was kind, and the room condition was good (the AC was bad). Breakfast was not bad. However, the sound of sports cars passing by at night was noisy. The area called Glendale itself was safe and comfortable."

"I originally planned to stay for 3 nights, but ended up extending for another 6. The surrounding area is very safe, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. It's also very quick to get onto the freeway. Parking was about $40 a night, which is acceptable for Los Angeles."

"There's no elevator and the soundproofing is poor; I was prepared for these issues after reading reviews when booking, and I can't expect more at this price. The $150 deposit upon check-in was a complete surprise. Why is it so high for a woman with an 8-year-old child? Furthermore, the room was full of chargeable food and drinks, and the refrigerator was almost full of them. I specifically requested a quiet room, but they gave me a room without a street view, with pipes running all over the place. The pipes were incredibly noisy, and the air conditioner was like an earthquake, and it was also very dirty. Now I'm just wondering when I'll get my $150 deposit back?"

"The hotel room is relatively large and the luggage storage service is better. If you have a room available, you can apply for early check-in. The overall experience is good and the living experience is very strong. Will book in the future"

"The price was okay, and the room was quite spacious, but not exceptionally clean. There was some dust, but it wasn't terrible for the price. Housekeeping changed the towels daily. I recommend specifying a non-smoking room when booking, as otherwise, you'll get a room that smells strongly of cigarette smoke. There's a refrigerator and a microwave. There are no power outlets by the bed, but luckily, the cords are long, so it's not a problem. Plus, if you're on the ground floor, you can hear the noise from the floor above constantly. Parking is limited and the spaces are narrow; you can park, but it's difficult to open the car door. If the parking lot is full, you can park on the street in front of the hotel, but you have to move your car before 7 am. We checked out early because of an early flight. When we called, the staff sounded a bit annoyed, but they said we could leave it at the check-in window. It's convenient. A short drive away are Raley and Target; you don't see many homeless people. It's a 15-20 minute drive to the Griffith Observatory."

"The room was clean and tidy, but parking came with a fee. Valet parking was $45, self-parking was $38. Ctrip showed it as around $27.99, but Ctrip was great and refunded me the difference."

"Very good location. Quiet neighborhood. There are many things nearby, including a food court and a supermarket, all within walking distance. Check-in and check-out are fairly quick, and service is prompt. It's also clean. My only complaint is that the air conditioning is a bit old and noisy."
