Hotel ini terletak di 33 Canton Road, sangat dekat dengan stesen MTR, menjadikan pengangkutan mudah. Ia juga berdekatan dengan tepi laut, hanya kira-kira sepuluh minit berjalan kaki. Hotel ini terletak di kawasan yang sibuk, berhampiran dengan Daerah Kebudayaan West Kowloon, dengan pusat seni opera Cina, dewan konsert, dan pelbagai pusat membeli-belah di sekitarnya. Ia sesuai untuk membeli-belah dan bersiar-siar. Terutamanya, ia berada betul-betul di sebelah terminal feri, menjadikannya sangat mudah untuk perjalanan antara Zhuhai dan Hong Kong. Saya tinggal di tingkat atas dan hanya meninggalkan hotel setengah jam sebelum waktu berlepas feri saya. Bilik-bilik hotel berbentuk segi tiga tidak sekata, yang mungkin tidak disukai oleh sesetengah orang, tetapi saya boleh menyesuaikannya dan malah menyukainya. Oleh kerana hotel ini agak lama, kemudahannya sedikit usang, tetapi kebersihannya sangat baik. Peralatan tempat tidur di bilik saya tidak mempunyai sebarang kecacatan, dan semua yang diperlukan ada – almari, peti sejuk, rak bagasi. Meja sangat panjang, menjadikannya mudah untuk menggunakan komputer. Terdapat soket dan penyesuai universal di atas meja. Meja itu kaca, yang akan terasa sangat sejuk pada musim panas yang panas, tetapi pada masa ini, ia agak sejuk. Penebat bunyi agak teruk, yang merupakan masalah biasa di hotel-hotel China. Nasib baik, ia tidak terlalu bising. Penghawa dingin agak bising, jadi saya mematikannya. Malam pertama, saya tidak mematikan lampu tandas, hanya penghawa dingin. Akibatnya, ia sangat pelik, penghawa dingin mula hidup secara automatik mengikut masa yang ditetapkan, agak menakutkan. Keesokan harinya, saya mematikan semuanya, dan penghawa dingin tidak hidup, tetapi ada bunyi motosikal dari luar sepanjang malam. Kemudian, saya mendengar bunyi yang sama di terminal feri, jadi saya rasa mungkin itu bunyi dari beberapa jentera di terminal. Perkhidmatan hotel bagus. Terdapat minuman, kopi, dan gula-gula percuma di dalam peti sejuk mini. Terdapat juga peti besi untuk kegunaan tetamu. Selepas menempah bilik, kaunter penerimaan tetamu secara proaktif memberi saya kata laluan, mungkin untuk komputer dan peti besi. Saya tidak menggunakannya kerana saya tidak membawa komputer dan tidak banyak wang. Kertas tandas di bilik mandi cukup tebal. Mandi dan kepala pancuran di Hong Kong disambungkan bersama, yang agak berbahaya. Orang tua mungkin mudah tersandung. Tab mandi di hotel ini agak rendah dan kecil, mengurangkan risiko. Terdapat juga banyak cermin di mana-mana, yang agak menarik.

Great location as it’s right at the metro station & K11 Musea & other high end shops. Streets are also full of restaurants & there is Sky bar nearby with amazing views. Hotel service was very good, it was also very clean. But there is big BUT!!! There are carpets everywhere - even in the elevator. Room smelled as if mouldy, same in the corridor. After 3 nights all my clothes had mouldy smell as I couldnt take out the card since the airconditioning kept on running after leaving room. It would be just too cold - like 15 degrees.

This hotel is quite iconic. Needless to say highly centrally located. Had memories here before living at hotels (e.g., their Thai-themed buffet for my birthday, which was nice). The hotel is quite standard, however, and probably requires an upgrade. Everything felt a bit old and dusty. But aside from this there is really not much to complain about. The gym was nice but a bit old. The swimming pool requires a cap. The breakfast buffet was amazing as expected.

Gateway Hotel Hong Kong was an excellent choice for my stay. The location is very convenient, especially for business travellers, with easy access to shopping, dining, and transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. I was also impressed by the facilities and overall service quality. Everything made my stay smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong.

Lokasi yang hebat dengan banyak kedai di sekitar kawasan, 15 minit berjalan kaki ke stesen HSR barat kowloon untuk pergi ke seluruh bahagian china, hotel agak ketinggalan zaman tetapi bersih dan selamat!

The hotel itself is located in a relatively quiet corner of the TST hot spot near the ISquare/Harbour City, it is relatively hard to miss the impressive front door of the black marble looking exteriors. Check-in is Very smooth, cash deposit are required but easily done. For the first time staying of this hotel i’ve requested a higher level room and a quiet corner, which happens to be 11th (top level except roof common area). Room is as advertised ,very spacious and clean looking (typical wear and tears of material aging is expected but doesn’t looks gross). for visitors that enjoys their own balcony view it is better to ask ahead if the room assigned has it, for me although it was a room that didn’t which is fine, but the eye catch is the toilet - bath tub and the shower is separated which allows flexibility for both type of bath time enjoyers too, those whom need longer stays and/or like taking long bath in a tub will enjoy the big tubs, but the overhead ceiling shower is just as great for morning refreshers. bed had its own smaller TV screen with wall mounted extend arms for lazy watching which is great if you’re relaxing while enjoying the Victoria harbour view from the window, but also a living room bigger tv , although the downside is sometimes the remote will controls both units at the same time, so nighttime tv bingeing becareful of volume bursts from a different tv. room air conditioning is room self-controlled - the panel is right next to the main TV so for travelers that is sensitive to temperature differences is a plus, as you don’t have to worry centralized air con streaming cold airs in cooler days or during sleep, you had the control at your own hand. only things that may be worth considering is that the room is wood tiled - occasional cracks from old tiles misaligned can occur when you step on it so if your roommates are light sleepers and prone to awakening from noises, that could be a problem. also while unfortunate as it is during festive times and beyond hotel controls, noise can be excessive if there neighboring room(s) are booked by party goers or occupants had returned drunk. as the hall noise is very auditable. security is standard where after 6pm it requires your room keycards to access lifts and the hotel doors as well. A small but noteworthy point is the gym at 6th floor and their rooftops- technically on the 12th floor, the roof is a fairly open area with a limited but still great view of the Victoria harbour amidst the neibouring buildings that is 2-3 rows away from the harbour side. while not certain is it remained open overnight as long as accessing with keycards, it is great for the city view. however not recommended for people with Fear of heights- as glass barriers are only to waist levels that can be easily lean over. also the rooftops lift indicator is not as visible/auditable while waiting for it arrivals, so if the single lift that can reach the rooftop is out of services it may become unavailable , or if unlucky you might be locked out. overall it is a surprisingly fair price but great accommodation choices, while noise concerns can be servere if you happen to be unlucky when other floor occupants go berserk, but surrounding areas noise is not intense even it is next to Kowloon Park Drive intersection ramp just 1 block away.

Great location. Bigger,clean rooms.Accesible to many hi end shops etc and restos,many tourist attractions within walking distance. Nice ambiance and delicious Buffet breakfast at Savvy. All ataff were commendable as well. Since we stayed during Chinese New Year,we enjoyed the parade right next to the hotel as well as Fireworks viewing at Cusina resto viewing deck. Truly a memorable stay.
