Hotel berhampiran Taman Seni, Zagreb

This was a 5-star stay for me. I spent 2 nights. Oliver was friendly and very responsive. The room was perfect. Mini fridge, hot water kettle, and instant coffee/tea was provided, as well as 2 bottles of water. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location is just about a 5 minute walk to the Zagreb Kolodvor (bus station) and about a 30-minute walk to old town. It's located on a quiet street with few cars driving by. Free wifi. Grocery store, Konzum, was a couple of blocks away. I would definitely stay here again!

L’hotel è in posizione strategica, facile da raggiungere in auto e vicino alle attrazioni principali di Zagabria. Lo staff dell’hotel è veramente eccellente, soprattutto alla reception: gentilezza e cortesia sono di casa. Lo stile moderno ed elegante rende il soggiorno indimenticabile. Pulizia impeccabile. Consigliatissimo!

Абсолютно все - от расположения недалеко от автовокзала до оптимального уровня комфорта, уюта и удобств, просто невероятных завтраков и конечно отличной работы&доброжелательности персонала! И даже незначительная удаленность от центра Загреба практически незаметна - 20 мин пешей прогулки позволяют лучше познакомиться с городом)6 Все, что содержится положительного в отзывах об этом отеле, реально соответствует действительноси Молодцы, так держать!

Fantastic location. Sauna is available to book for free for private use. The best thing was the massage - it was really good. The only issue was the air condition which was changed to heating during the time we visited (summer transitioning to autumn) so it was a little warm at night. Unless you took the garden facing room, the road/ trams noises will be uncomfortable to leave the windows open through the night. Having said, the staff service were good.

One Rude Staff Member Ruined an Otherwise Decent Stay I stayed at Esplanade Zagreb Hotel with high expectations given its historic prestige, but one employee’s unprofessional behavior significantly tarnished my experience. Upon arrival, I mistakenly entered the hotel’s parking area as the parking gate opened. After realizing the error, I proceeded to the lobby, completed check-in, and moved my car to the designated drop-off zone for valet service. At this point, a parking attendant aggressively confronted me—hands on hips, speaking in a condescending tone, and demanding how I’d accessed the area. His demeanor was more suited to scolding a trespasser than addressing a paying guest. To be fair, the front desk and concierge staff were perfectly polite and efficient. Had I not encountered this particular employee, my overall impression would have been positive. But for a hotel branding itself as a luxury establishment, even one hostile interaction is unacceptable. A guest’s entire perception can be undone by a single moment of poor service. The incident casts doubt on the hotel’s training standards. Why does such a disparity in staff attitudes exist? I hope management addresses this, as no amount of century-old tradition excuses rudeness. Until then, I’d hesitate to return or recommend Esplanade Zagreb without caution.

Beautiful hotel, clean, rooms are cozy, loby, elevators and hallways smell really nice. Breakfast was really nice, various tipes of fresh bread, veggies, fruits, meats and cheeses. Parking has own garage but i parked on public street parking, there was some place and it is cheaper option. Has huge pool with warm water.

First things I like to express my appreciation to Toni at front desk who's very friendly welcoming my first day check in and helping me when I have problem with rental car. He really put his effort making so many calls when the rental car didn't response well, but finally all problem solved. And he sent his regard throe his friend at front desk on my second check in after 7 days traveling to Split and Dubrovnik, his name also Tony and he also very friendly. Thanks to both of you Toni & Tony ( I hope I didn't wrong spelling your name ) It's highly recommend for all type of traveler, the room is very quite, I can't hear anything from next room or outside, sleep like a baby. I love the spacious shower room and all luxury amenities. If not mistaken I think this is a brand new hotel. Since i drive a car, for me location is not important, 8 minutes drive to the old town, not too far. I like the neighborhood is so quite. Breakfast has many menus and tasty too. I only now stay at this hotel when I am in Zagreb. From the moment you walk through the main doors and into the reception area, you are warmly acknowledged and greeted. You are a valued guest and are treated like one. Check in process is smooth and seamless. The room is well-appointed and given the time of the year, cosy and warm. The bed wa super comfortable and the pillows offered enough support to ensure a good nights' sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the heated towel rail was much appreciated. If you are so inclined, the mini bar is stocked and there is also excellent room service. The buffet breakfast is sensational- the best in Zagreb. Something for everyone and for all dietary requirements. The one thing that always impresses me here is the fact that all employees and acknowledge their guests- from the room attendants to the kitchen staff. I will alway come back to the Astoria Zagreb. Thank you for looking after me.

Really easy check-in process. Self check-in is available, they send the code to open the main gate and room. Location is near the tram station which make it safely reachable in midnight also.

The building is old but has a classic feel. Was surprised that the traditional key is still used for the room. Location is close to a mini market, a bakery, pizzaria, kebab store and walking distance to a tram/bus stop and Nikola Tesla museum.
