Well was very reluctant to book the stay so I booked 2 nights.
Firstly the location was good as it is very near to big district like Shibuya, Shinjuku. Gotanda is new to me slightly quieter. Cleanliness was good, well maintain maybe it was quite new.
I don’t like the part where by we need to check out at 11pm and check in again at 3pm it was inconvenient when there were people staying more than a night.
Anyway it was ok overall.

Best stay!! The staff member at the concierge Ms M Matsui was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me in making some urgent local calls cos of my inability to communicate in Japanese. The staff were all v gracious and hospitable. Great location. Good food everywhere. Safe and clean environment. Fantastic spa with outdoor and indoor onsen. A hotel with taste and class!

The hotel is quite new and in a very convenient location. The room is not big but sufficient for us. Amenities are great. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Overall I think its location, convenience to other areas in the city and nice neighbourhood with plenty of F&B choices are the biggest draw. We will definitely stay here again.

I absolutely love this hotel, it is small in size but provides everything you need, from bathroom robe, slippers to shoes Polish paper and free drink each day. It's good value and about 30 minutes from the hotel to Tokyo Tower by foot. It's a very nice walk at night if you enjoy a bit of explanation at night.
Walking from the nearest train station to the hotel is about 8 minutes, if you travel without young kids and big luggage, this hotel will be perfect for going around.

This hotel is a little way from Gotanda Station so if you don’t mind the 9 minute walk and it’s worth the price difference then it’s okay. The hotel stay was okay, it was relatively clean for a business hotel but not as thoroughly clean as some higher end hotels. The comforter was stained which was a bit disappointing to see. I stayed 5 nights and it was fine, however I wouldn’t stay again. The service from the staff was standard.

Very convenient location, 5 mins walk to Shinagawa train station which was very convenient to travel to Kyoto. Front desk staff was not accommodating when I requested for extension of 10 mins check-out time even though I have stayed in the same hotel twice during this trip. Room was small, not enough space to open up the luggages.

The check-in SOP was a bit amusing — we arrived about 30 minutes early and were asked to take a queue number and wait until exactly 3pm to collect the room card, even though the room was already ready. ps: waiting area is hot and limited seats

KkhosodaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and very well maintained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing more than enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is another major highlight. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, transportation, and restaurants. This made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm and professional attitude. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. Every meal I had was satisfying and enjoyable.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

The location is excellent which the metro exit is next to the hotel but the exit is only stairs. Those travelers who have big luggage might be very concerned. There are many restaurants nearby also convenience store.
The room is very neat very tidy but a bit crowded if 2ppl. Not much space for your luggage. The amenities are great!
I loved the onsen so much!! Because i came for Garmin Run Aisa and it helped me recover alot!
I probably recommend my fds to come and I will come next time for my trip to Tokyo.

The location is really convenience. Just 10 minutes pf less walking from useno and okachimachi stagion, surrounded by all the foods, shoppings, and night life. (And it was very quiet and serene in the morning. )
The onsen/public bath is good. If you are early or time it a bit, it would be almost no one there. A plus for those who might be intimidated by the culture. Also, maybe most of the customers are foreigner, the percentage of public bath enjoyer looks pretty small.

SSupattra(kung)The room is small, Japanese-style11 sqm i book conneting room, The location is very convenient, close to JR. There’s a FamilyMart, AEON, and many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. You can walk to Tobu Department Store every day for shopping.
The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinks—perfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay here—the price is very reasonable too.

And after a long day in the city you can come back to enjoy the onsen. The only bad thing I can say about my stay was the someone in the capsule across from mine snored so loud it was nearly impossible to sleep.

It has a modern and stylish vibe overall, making it a good fit for travelers who enjoy a bit of personality and contemporary feel.
The rooms are decent—not particularly spacious (typical for central Tokyo hotels), but the design is pleasant and they come with Simmons mattresses, so the bed is comfortable to sleep in. What stands out is that the hotel has a very large number of rooms (reportedly over 400 in total), making it a mid-to-large-scale property. Check-in can occasionally feel a bit busy in the lobby due to the volume of guests, but operations run smoothly. Room types are quite varied, from standard doubles to loft-style rooms, offering good flexibility when booking.
Location is one of the more debated aspects of this hotel. It is very close to the heart of Shinjuku—right inside Kabukicho—so you’re surrounded by endless restaurants, izakayas, convenience stores, drugstores, and nightlife. Walking distance covers popular spots like Korean Town in Okubo or Golden Gai, which makes evening strolls and late-night eating extremely convenient. Also, the bedsheets are changed everyday, you get clean pyjama and towels everyday.
One thing that was annoying is the size of the lockes, it is very small and little bit inconvenient with the card sistem.
Also keep in mind that you have to be out of the hotel during the certain hours due to cleaning.

The only downside was limited space if you’re traveling with large luggage. The hotel’s location is very convenient it’s close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. There’s also a grocery store and a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, which was very helpful. The laundry area was another nice bonus for families traveling longer. Overall, a great and convenient stay in Ueno.
