PPengguna TetamuThe reception was excellent, and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made us feel hopeful at first. Sadly, everything was overshadowed by the condition of the room. I cannot say it was dirty – it wasn’t – but it was extremely damp. The bed was so uncomfortably moist that it was impossible to sleep, which made the stay very distressing. On top of that, the ceramic floor tiles were dangerously slippery, making us feel unsafe. It was truly disappointing, as we had expected a comfortable and relaxing stay, but instead left feeling upset and let down.

I had a very pleasant stay at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. The service throughout the hotel was fantastic and the staff genuinely go out of their way to help.
The breakfast was a highlight. There is a very big variety and great choice of options, which made mornings enjoyable and convenient.
At one point the phone in our room stopped working. I went to reception to inform them and they immediately sent a technician. The issue was fixed in under 10 minutes, which shows how efficient and responsive the team is.
Room service was also very accommodating. I was travelling alone with my daughter and the staff made extra effort to make everything easy and comfortable for us.
Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

IIan LagacLocation is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious.
Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready.
Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait.
Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating.
Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool.
Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people.
Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.

CCJ12A beautiful building in a very pleasant area of Colombo; the architecture and interior design of the hotel are a joy to behold and the vast majority of staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of amenities nearby to suit all tastes and interests. The breakfasts were great both mornings (both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Western style), and they really lived up to the high expectations we’d had from the Instagram marketing we’d seen.
We were upgraded to the North West Suite, which was a larger room, for which we were greatly appreciative; a couple of issues with working plugs and appliances (coffee machine and hair dryer) were reported and rectified, although the wiring/plugs more broadly were temperamental and poorly placed (as expected, possibly, with the charm of an older hotel). However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bathroom was well appointed.
Our only qualm was with the overzealous Head of Housekeeping, who seemed to not grasp the subtlety required for such a role, or the privacy with which guests might like to enjoy the beautiful hotel. It appeared that he lingered all too often in search of a tip, and didn’t quite appreciate the boundaries one might desire when paying a reasonable fee for each night. My wife and I took to speedily locking the door and placing the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the handle to keep his incessant interrupting to a minimum. His deputy was, however, an asset to the hotel, who seemed to comprehend the subtle art of providing high quality service for a luxury stay in a lovely hotel.
All-in-all, a great choice for a hotel in the heart of Colombo, and hopefully, during a busier season, the aforementioned Head of Housekeeping might spread his overbearing attention across the many rooms of the hotel.

PPengguna TetamuI had an absolutely wonderful stay and felt truly taken care of from the moment I arrived until I left. Every request was handled with genuine care and professionalism, and the level of hospitality clearly shows that customer satisfaction comes first.
A very special thank you to Mr Gajan from the Bell Service. He kindly accompanied me during check out and patiently waited with me for quite some time until my taxi arrived. His warmth, attentiveness and dedication made a lasting impression on me and truly represent outstanding service.
The in room dining was also excellent and of very high quality. Unfortunately I caught a cold during my stay and could not explore everything, but I will definitely come back.
A true five star experience. Highly recommended.

MManuri LinaraI recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience.
The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all.
Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers.
The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety.
Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming.
Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money.

We call the reception to check why it’s not cooling and they responded so quickly. It’s clean and properly maintained. For breakfast, it’s good not so many choices but acceptable.

С первых минут чувствуется особая атмосфера — место с историей, характером и своим уникальным настроением. Вид на океан просто невероятный, один из тех, которые остаются в памяти надолго. Шум волн, закаты, общее ощущение пространства и воздуха создают состояние отдыха и наполненности.
Территория отеля приятная, есть всё необходимое для комфортного пребывания. Особенно хочется отметить расположение — оно действительно сильное и является одним из главных преимуществ этого места.
В то же время, есть ощущение, что отелю не хватает некоторой целостности в уровне сервиса и внимания к деталям. Местами чувствуется, что потенциал этого пространства гораздо выше, чем то, как он реализован сейчас. Это не портит полностью впечатление, но создаёт лёгкий контраст между атмосферой и уровнем обслуживания.
В целом, это место с красивой душой, сильной энергетикой и уникальной локацией. При более внимательном и тонком подходе к сервису оно могло бы стать по-настоящему выдающимся.
