PPengguna Tetamuthe staff was very friendly and very helpful. I called the hotel contact number for help after realizing I lost my small handbag somewhere. They collected my contact details right away and promised to look for me and contact me as early as possible. They called as promised even though my handbag wasn't there. Their dedication and kindness and professional service are so much appreciated!

RRay72Nice hotel, good location. We rented a suite for a combined business and pleasure trip. Hotel is rights above a supermarket. Be careful!! Supermarket delivery trucks keep you from sleeping at night. Also Internet connection not working. Strongly recommend to not stay here. At least not when you are expecting a good night sleep.....Only poor excuse was offered. Friendly staff, just noisy rooms. Stay away!

RReeveer89We had a very pleasant stay at Motto’s. The room was compact (as in the descrilption when booking) but well organized, clean and with a big comfy bed. We slept very well. The staff was helpful and kind. The position is excellent near Blaak station, we reached almost every place we wanted to see by foot.

KKen5335Arrived at 7+am due to overnight train. Service staff initially refused my Euro note for city tax that I exchanged in SG. It had at most a 0.1-0.2mm tear. Asked for legal policies, but the staff incorrectly stated that the note is not allowed to be accepted in the Netherlands (it is a hotel specific policy which probably the accountant has attacked the staff not to accept such notes for fear of bank rejecting?)and had some altercations, finally service staff sarcastically accepted my Euro note saying she will take a risk with her manager Mr. Z. Beside that bad altercation, it is a no frills clean hotel. Beware of luggage storage fees I saw at the counter. Luggage storage might not be free as per usual all other hotels.. You are better off paying for early check in or late check out if applicable. Breakfast was good as well. Location is okay as well.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaIts a small hostel with limited room facilities, tiny toilet, broken lift, and horrible shower. Room isn’t really clean, there are couple of students also live there and said they haven’t clean since they move there like 3 days earlier before me. So in total 5 days weren’t be cleaned. Staff is nice tho and central, close to station, 9 minutes walk. Basically rotterdam is a walkable city . I got room with view to the main street which beautiful but very loud.

We appreciated the spaciousness of our room, which provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The decor is stylish, with a marine theme and dark tones that add a cozy ambiance. However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city. Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.

PPengguna TetamuThe room was decent but unfortunately the window was right above the entrance as everyone is smoking right under it, so don't think about opening the window. We arrived and there was a sock on the smoke alarm, went downstairs to notify reception and another customer told us it had been there when he stayed days back. Clearly people smoking in rooms, but we couldn't smell it much so that's a plus. The reception staff came to take it down swiftly but it should have been caught way earlier by the cleaning staff! The bathroom was nice. WiFi worked great in rooms as well.

PPengguna TetamuOk let's start with Abigail ( hope spelling is correct) She was delightful. Checked me in and gave me several pointers for where to go, what to see and directions. Other staff there hangIng out also a great tour guide, sorry did not exchange names. The room was good. Only the shower was rough to enter with the glass door opening only part way. Was noted when I checked out to repair. But soo much walkable places close to eat and drink.

PPengguna TetamuLocation is exceptional - just outside Markthal and a 5 min walk from the harbours. 20 second walk from Rotterdam Blaak Train and Metro Station. You do get what you pay for however - rooms are VERY small (as depicted). There is a Shared “kitchen” area with tea / coffee also there. Our shower didnt drain properly and so anything longer than 5 mins flooded the hotel room lol. Also no privacy in the bathroom - no lock and its frosted glass so be wise who you share it with! Only had 2 flat pillows for a double bed so that was a bit meh. Also a draft in the window so being December it was quite cold. AC / heating didn’t work either. TV worked with Netflix and Youtube, and you could stream from your phone but this was a bit temperamental. Reception were kind but seemed a little unorganised / unsure about things. Would defo come here again however for a budget stay in the city, the location is absolutely unbeatable :
