Fantastic hotel, staff, amenities and location. The staff let me drop my luggage off early and then check in early and then let me leave my luggage there for the day

Was definitely a stay in won't forget (Unsatisfactory!). From the moment service starting whilst checking in another guest quite innocently was returning their key card as requested by a staff member was rudely brushed off, this set the tone for the majority of the further interactions from staff. Secondly i was having issue processing payment for a food delivery from an outside vendor and even though we kept ourselves off to the side of other guests we were met with a unwelcoming tone and unwilling to assist from reception staff despite a polite request to offer a solution. Thirdly I paid for late checkout at the point of checking in with the reception as I was aware I would require to sleep late as my visit meant quite a late return to the room from the previous night only to be awoken at the regular checkout time by unaware sanitation crew. My conclusion even though this is my 2nd stay with this Hotel (1st being during ongoing renovations) I shall not find myself back as this location. Very unsatisfactory service considering the cost for a 2 night stay

Room was rather spacious and check-in was smooth. The hotel is conveniently located near Rotterdam Central and is also near the Staduis station which made it easy to travel around. The gym was also decently equipped with towels and a water carton provided. Only issue that I had during my stay was that one of the two lifts were under maintenance on one of the days and when I took the lift that day it came to an abrupt stop while I was still inside. Although the hotel feels rather dated, it feels very clean and polished, and was a comfortable stay during my time in Rotterdam.

Location was perfect, close to walk everywhere we wanted and central station. Hotel itself was beautiful, outside of rooms was space to sit, read a book or work on laptop. We loved our candy house. Bed was extremely comfortable, shower pressure spot on 👌 Reception stuff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there is no parking so what we did we parked on train station P+P for two nights.

I booked quite last minute so quite an expensive stay but still good value especially taking into account the wide choice and excellent continental breakfast and a free drink as I am an IHG member. Checking in staff patient and helpful which is always appreciated as an older woman travelling solo! Well located near the main station in walking distance but also tram stops practically outside the entrance (if your case is heavy as mine was) and you can pay by swiping your debit card on/off as you do now on the tube -just so easy to do. The shop in reception was well stacked with a good variety of items which were more expensive but you’re paying for the convenience. The room was great and the air conditioning a real blessing in the heatwave. I’d definitely stay there again and would happily recommend it to others especially solo travellers. I felt very safe there.

It is a nice place to stay in Rotterdam with a more affordable price. The room is well soundproofed, we didn’t be wake up by noise from outside of the room indoor or outdoor. It also got a nice view from the room with the magical sky. The smart tv having YouTube and Netflix app which we could login our own account, but the most impressive thing is the free channel to watch World Cup during our stay! Although the hotel is not located around the city centre of Rotterdam, it is only 15mins train to it. The hotel is located just at the start of a huge park, we spent lots of the just chilling and took a little walk there every day. There is a large indoor mall just a crossing away, different brands of everything are there. Even not going to city centre, we could enjoy ourselves in this neighbourhood for 3-4days. When the time we stayed in this hotel, the event venue Rotterdam Ahoy didn’t have any shows, it might be quite different it has one. Anyway, we enjoyed the stay here with the quiet environment.

The location is convenient. I arrived by bicycle and was able to secure my bicycle the the racks in the square in front of the hotel. It is a 10-15 walk to central station, cube house, Oude Haven and other tourist sites. There is shopping precinct and major supermarket 10 min walk away. I went to a concert at de Doelen which was next to central station so easy to get to. I recommend doing to 15 min walk to the waterfront and getting the water taxi from Erasmusbrug as a cheap way to do a river cruise … the water taxi even goes all the way to Kinderdjik , the famous windmill area. I stayed in the triple female only room. The was one other roommate with whom I had no problems. The room felt spacious. Each bed had its own light and charging point. There were no curtains though the board with the lamp and charging point acted as a privacy shield. Bedding is laid out on the bed and you make the bed yourself. Comfy bed. There were several showers and toilets located in the corridor as well as separate sinks. The shower had hot water …. Is the type you press the button to 30 seconds of water then press again which helps conserve water. Bring your own towel or hire one. Rooms have keycard access. You need your own padlock for the locker in the room. The locker will not fit a big suitcase though my carryon sized luggage fitted ok. I was on the top floor in an annex type area where it was very quiet. I had no issues with cleanliness though I did notice an empty drinks container in the toilet for a couple of days. There is a small area near reception with seating and small tables where it is possible to sit and eat your own food. There is a small kitchenette area with one fridge, kettle, microwave ,air fryer and a hot plate. Using the hotplate for foods such as pasta, rice, boiling eggs is permitted but not frying nor cooking smelly foods. It is very helpful to be able to use these resources for quick food prep, though keep in mind that you may need to wait at meal times and utensils are limited. There appeared to be some people living there who had their own cooking utensils. Like many places in the Netherlands there is a steep staircase to get in, so even though there is a lift to get to the different floors, the first staircase will be a hurdle for those with a large suitcase. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

Room (twin room) was clean, room was ready very early and we even received bananas and water for the marathon which was really nice + the bed was comfortable. Location is also good, near the central station and city centre. We sadly had a really bad sleep here because people (not sure if they were guests or staff) kept slamming doors very loudly on our floor through the night, as late as 4 pm. It kept waking us up, even while wearing earplugs. The hallway isn’t soundproof enough.

Quite a nice hotel that is very close to the flixbus bus stop. Water pressure and heater are great. The air condition gets quite cold but you can always ask the reception to adjust it. It's an old building so every sound made within the building is amplified. Apart from that it was a very good stay.

Location is exceptional - just outside Markthal and a 5 min walk from the harbours. 20 second walk from Rotterdam Blaak Train and Metro Station. You do get what you pay for however - rooms are VERY small (as depicted). There is a Shared “kitchen” area with tea / coffee also there. Our shower didnt drain properly and so anything longer than 5 mins flooded the hotel room lol. Also no privacy in the bathroom - no lock and its frosted glass so be wise who you share it with! Only had 2 flat pillows for a double bed so that was a bit meh. Also a draft in the window so being December it was quite cold. AC / heating didn’t work either. TV worked with Netflix and Youtube, and you could stream from your phone but this was a bit temperamental. Reception were kind but seemed a little unorganised / unsure about things. Would defo come here again however for a budget stay in the city, the location is absolutely unbeatable :
