Hotel berhampiran Pantai Las Cabanas, El Nido

* Upon arrival, the air conditioning unit in our villa was not properly maintained. The filter was extremely dirty and clogged, causing excessive noise and poor performance. We had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. * There is little to no mobile signal in the area, and the WiFi connection has been unreliable due to ongoing maintenance, making it very difficult to stay connected. * There has been significant noise disturbance from construction work directly behind our villa, including the use of loud power tools throughout most of the day over several days. * We were only informed about a wedding taking place upon check-in. As a result, we were unable to use the sunbeds located outside our villa and had to relocate further away. Also due to the wedding taking place, the hotel had to make many soundchecks during the day before, playing very loud music which made it hard to relax on the beach. The wedding guests (80+ people) were allowed to use the villa next to us, as their designated toilet, which caused a lot of back and forth from the weddings guests right by our villa. This made it difficult to relax. * Additionally, we find that the restaurant prices are quite high compared to the quality of the food. For example, breakfast at 800 PHP did not meet basic expectations, as even simple items such as cheese and ham for bread were missing. I’m also sorry to say that the chicken adobo is tasteless, and on the menu it says the menu has been created by a Michelin chef. My mango daquiri tasted only of alcohol, so I had to ask for one with less alcohol. As a certified bartender, that is unacceptable. Even the French fries were not done properly as they needed more time in the oven (I think that’s what they used to make them at least, I would prefer if they were fried in oil though). However, very good mango shakes. * We would also like to mention that the access roads leading to the property are in very poor condition. The roads consist mainly of uneven gravel and are full of deep potholes, which make driving quite difficult and uncomfortable. In some areas, it is only possible to drive at around 10 km/h due to the condition of the road. We believe that the roads would greatly benefit from proper maintenance or being paved with cement, as this would significantly improve accessibility and the overall guest experience. We understand that some of these issues may be temporary or unforeseen, but taken together they have had a significant impact on our stay. However I would really like to highlight Hazel from the reception at the Nacpan Beach Villas. She was really sweet and thorough when we had any questions and went the extra mile for us. She deserves a raise. Please let her know we were really happy with her and really appreciated her.

This resort is best resort where I have ever been to. Staffs were really nice and kind every time. They helped us to make good memories. Complementary activities were good. We really recommend island hopping. This resort is rich in nature beauty. I will absolutely come back in near future.

This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. I didn’t feel like leaving! This place is a gem. It’s nestled on top of a small hill with mind blowing views. The room (Joglo 5) had spectacular views from the balcony and was very well equipped. It was clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The infinity pool and restaurant were the icing on the cake. Beautiful sunsets and vibe! Service was also excellent - thanks to Wilma, RV, Maggie, Lemer, Geo, Lester, Ellen, the Chef, and all others!

Clean, spacious beds and super friendly staff at Spin Designer Hostel El Nido. Near town proper so walking around at night is easy + safe. Free breakfast with lots of options. Only small note: the drier area was a bit confusing at first. Great value and would come back!

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Our room was lovely. The location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for—away from the crowded town, making it peaceful and serene. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to provide a few more rugs or floor mats to wipe our feet, as we only had one and the room can easily get wet after island hopping tours. The shower drain was also a bit slow, but it wasn't a big deal. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience at the resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting El Nido.

From the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free. Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site. Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

EL nido suites Location and the hotel facilities are the best. The staff was helpful and room was good. I was able to book massage, tour and motor bike from the reception staff. Breakfast did let me down but still not bad. Bus terminal is next to it and the el nido public market. Vanila beach, lio beach and nacpan beach is not far. Especially old town is around 10 minutes of walking distance from the hotel for the night life and for good restaurants. Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Located near the main town of ElNido, with plenty of bars and restaurants around. However it’s right next to the main road in and out of town and is therefore very noise with traffic until late into the evening. The hotel was basic and clean, but had some issues with the hot water. Once it was repaired it was scorching or not at all. There was also a second shower with a sky roof. The repair could see right into the bathroom with a clear line of sight to the toilet. We ended up hanging a blanket over the gap for some privacy.
