Stayed before. Last time I was in the main block where the swimming pool was and had a good stay with only a couple of disappointments. I also had a twin room deluxe.
This time I booked a double room.
I thought it was a deluxe but was told a standard room.
This room was in another tower above where the breakfast restaurant is.
My room was on the 7th floor The first thing I noticed was a lot of stains on the carpet in the corridor and damaged on the walls probably due to trolleys.
The room was in very poor condition really. The curtains were damaged and not hanging straight. The double bed was two singles pushed together not usually a problem but they were using the bedding from the two singles, sheets tied together at the corners and some really quite old blankets. The moment I got into bed it all came apart and ended up on the floor.
The old air con had an on/off switch near the door so I needed to get up and turn it off when cold , the temperature gauge didn't work just cold and off. So I had to get up again if I was too hot.
The telephone was broken so I couldn't call reception to report anything so mentioned the problem when going out.
No hot water in the morning. I rose early but couldn't get a hot shower until after lunch. For three days.
The staff were friendly and the location was good in terms of area but outside the hotel was really quite drab.

Super friendly and flexible staff! The room was a bit small but very clean. The proximity to the Night Bazaar is fantastic; it was a little noisy at night, but earplugs solved the problem.

Air, teh dan kopi ditinggalkan di dalam bilik. Mandian dan air panas mengatasinya.. Gim yang hebat dengan banyak peralatan dan kolam renangnya bagus. Jadi hotel menyediakan semua yang saya perlukan. Hotel yang tinggi dengan 24 tingkat dan sangat sibuk. Stsy yang menakjubkan bernilai setiap sen. Pusat kepada semua pasar serta jalan pejalan kaki. 7/11 bertentangan dan seberang jalan dari kafe Hard Rock dan Mcdonalds. berhampiran dengan Phae Gates yang terkenal dan saya cadangkan untuk melakukan lawatan menaiki dan turun bas, yang anda boleh dapatkan berhampiran pintu pagar. Ia membawa anda ke taman gajah dan harimau juga. Selamat meneroka! .

Highly recommend this guesthouse located right by the edge of Chiang Mai's Old City! I have booked this hotel multiple times for my mum and my mum truly enjoys every stay here. The staff are consistently polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, which makes a big difference to her experience. She would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mövenpick Chiang Mai for their dedication and effort in maintaining such a high service standard.
She was especially delighted by the festive touch, with Santa Claus distributing chocolates to guests, which added a lovely and thoughtful atmosphere to the stay. My mum also commented that Mövenpick stands out compared to Dusit Princess Chiang Mai, particularly in terms of accessibility and overall service quality.
Thank you once again to the entire team for making her stay so enjoyable and memorable.

The location is highly advantageous, with several key attractions within walking distance. Warorot Market is a 11-minute walk away, and Tha Phae Gate can be reached in approximately 15 minutes on foot. The immediate vicinity also offers a wide selection of cafes and local restaurants, providing convenient access to meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner by walking distance (for us within 20mins is acceptable)
However, a notable issue arose on my departure day concerning the room card. It ceased to function prior to the 12 PM checkout time. Fortunately, a cleaner was present and able to grant access using her access card.

I’m a solo female traveler and stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I really loved my room — it was compact, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, always ready to assist with anything I needed.
The lobby was also well-equipped with amenities like a water dispenser and coin-operated washing machines. If you get hungry late at night, they have instant noodles and drinks available for purchase. Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided for free, which was a nice touch.
The location is very convenient, close to lots of food options and shopping areas. One thing to note is that there can occasionally be some noise from outside, such as people singing, but it usually doesn’t go past 11 PM. If you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs just in case.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place. The price is also very reasonable!

PPengguna Tetamu漂亮特別的小型奢侈酒店。酒店米其林餐廳的食物也好吃。但是太吵了，第二晚半夜圍牆外的party，12:00還在歇斯底里地大喊大叫😱，給孩子加床的封閉露台，鳥叫聲簡直了👍我油耳朵，耳塞戴不住，夜裡很煎熬😫（預訂時一定要避開最裡麪那排，我是22號房）
帶孩子的家庭建議不要預訂，下午2:00-3:00帶孩子們在泳池玩，孩子們跳水居然被投訴，説太吵🥶.這是公共區域，遊樂場設施，也不是睡覺時間（都能裝修施工的時間段），要安靜為什麼不回自己房間！！！我是來度假的，不是來躺屍的。建議酒店如果很介意孩子的噪音，關鍵是並沒有大喊大叫，遠沒有半夜party那麼嘈雜，可以拒絕帶孩子的家庭入住。下次，希望不要再對帶孩子的家庭提出這種無理要求。我當場就反駁了：孩子們非常正常的嬉戲，請投訴我們的白人夫婦回自己房間，那裡肯定安靜。
住了三晚，餐廳的服務都非常好，元宵節那晚邀請朋友一起用餐，3個女孩在外面跑來跑去，我們在聊天沒留意😢,服務生很有技巧地把瘋丫頭們引去了可以遊戲的區域，也沒來投訴，點贊。

Jjuan nkoyeuStay in Villa Mahabhirom was fantastic from the rooms to the service. We were greeted with smiles and warmth by the staff as we arrived at the villa ....special mention to Driver (his name), He is very informative and speaks clearly , The staff including hotel manager Yaya were so pampering. After the checked in we were surprise with 2 birthday cakes, beautifully decorated with fruits and flowers and presented by all the staff of that day with birthday song .. They were so thoughtful and the gesture really touches us.
The villa has the most beautiful garden, very well kept with healthy plants and trees. We were always greeted with smiles and cares as we go in and out of the villa, All the staff are very well trained....good job, Yaya, Driver and Eye. We will definitely come again.

Suka pemasangan comel kuda nil dan badak sumbu sebagai hiasan. Karya seni mewah di lobi. Biliknya luas dan bersih. Cermin di bilik mandi mempunyai tiga lampu dan fungsi pemanasan Walaupun hujan, restoran ini menawarkan makan malam bufet hujung minggu dengan hanya 180 bhat setiap orang. Pemanduan singkat dari lapangan terbang, hotel ini terletak di lokasi yang memudahkan, boleh berjalan kaki ke kelab, restoran, kafe dan kedai butik yang menarik.

IilovetravelyeahhIt’s lovely to have a fully vegan resort. The property was very clean, the food was excellent, and I absolutely loved the breakfast. The breakfast buffet chef is fantastic, as is the chef at Moreganic, the main restaurant. I genuinely enjoyed all the food and loved feeling safe knowing everything was vegan.
What could have been better was the overall hospitality vibe. Many of the staff we interacted with felt quite disinterested and not particularly warm or welcoming. There were some standouts – Orn, Kham, and another staff member who was always smiling (I didn’t catch his name) – but most others felt lacklustre. On several occasions we went downstairs and were not greeted at all, even though staff were sitting at the desk.
There was also background music on repeat – a very short piano loop (around 15 seconds) that played continuously from around 6am until night in the breakfast and common areas. It became quite overwhelming over time and is unfortunately very memorable.
The room itself was lovely and very clean, however housekeeping was inconsistent on two days of our six-night stay. One day, when we had the eco card on the bed (meaning no fresh sheets), the beds weren’t made at all. Another day, my kids’ beds were only half-done with a quick fold at the end. Generally housekeeping was good otherwise. Different housekeepers rotating I think.
The air conditioning units had visible mould on the flap, which I wiped off myself. This raised concerns about whether there may also be mould inside the unit. There was a slightly musty smell in my room (we had two rooms). Luckily, as it was winter, we mostly used the fan, but this does need addressing.
English proficiency among staff was quite limited overall. Orn was great, but in general communication was difficult. I noticed this at another hotel in Chiang Mai as well, so it may not be specific to this resort.
On the positive side: the small gym was excellent and open 24 hours, with clean air conditioning. The bathroom had a great toilet bottom-wash-hose with good pressure, clean towels and sheets, bathrobes, a chain lock on the door for extra security, and a filtered water station.
Would we stay again? Probably not. The main reason we chose this resort was the vibe – friendliness and feeling taken care of – but it felt more like a serviced apartment where you provide your own hospitality, apart from the restaurants and generally good (but inconsistent) housekeeping. That said, it is aesthetically beautiful, and being able to eat anything without concern was a huge plus.
It would also be great to have hotel transport available during the day, not just for airport transfers, so guests can move around in a trusted vehicle. The airport pickup could have been more welcoming and smiling and the wai.
The food is exceptional. Moreganic is often empty, likely because prices are around 60% higher than local restaurants, but we really enjoyed our meals there, at breakfast, and via room service. The app-based room service worked very well and delivery was fast.
I noticed the pool-access rooms and feel they lack privacy, as other pool guests can sit right outside. My jacuzzi jets also didn’t work.
I don’t enjoy giving critical feedback, but I didn’t receive a post-stay feedback email, so this felt like the appropriate place to share it. With staff warmth improved, housekeeping consistency tightened, the music changed, and maintenance issues addressed, this would easily be a full-star stay for me. A fully vegan resort is truly special and unique, and the concept is wonderful.
We stayed about 26 days after the Queen’s passing, which may have influenced the atmosphere.
P.S. There are some lovely temples nearby, including Wat Mahawan, and others just across the road. All are about a three-minute walk from the resort. There’s also a great jewellery store close by called “I Do I Design.”

Location is good for those who like street shopping and street food. Not far from Maya shopping mall. Catching Grabcar during Loy Krathong festival is very challenging. We almost miss our flight. Luckily the hotel staff help us to look for private car.

HHninicholasThis hotel is well located at a very accessible and convenient place. There are shopping mall, eateries, pharmacies, Starbucks, massages nearby. It is just a few steps away from the Main Street.
Upon arrival, it is themed with lots of Moose mascots and signs around the hotel. At the hotel lobby, there are complimentary snacks and drinks available. Every noon and night, there are even tea break snack and night snack available. The hotel service is pleasant and efficient in helping us during our stay there.
The room is spacious with a king size bed, decorated with Moose plush and signs, it also came with a bathtub. The place is clean and tidy. For the daily hotel breakfast, it is decent and sufficient. We have a very pleasant and enjoyable stay here.

MMai Suzystayed there for 4 nights with my mom! we both super love the room, very clean, mattress is very comfy, love the bathroom and the nice breakfast. location is super close to nimmanhaemin road. Saw few bad reviews of loud noises, the hotel do provide some ear plugs but me and my mom could fall asleep without any ear plugs. It is not issue for us. super love the hotel and very welcoming! and so pretty. staff are very nice too! thank you for amazing stay

I have never stayed in this type of home style hotel in my life. First, when I checked in I was like OMG... it's definitely not my style and perhaps consider move to five stars hotel?
However, I was greed warmly by sale director as soon as I parked my car. He helped me check-in process and explaind about the hotel and etc.
As soon as I checked in I said to myself I will stay here for a night and probably going to check out tomorrow. I then went to dinner and came back to the hotel.
At that time, one of the hotel staff has explained to me about the history of this building, property, and most importantly the room that I have booked for #201.
I was so amazed this hotel has a very unique history and very happy to stay in the very memorable, honorable room.
Not only the history about the room and building, the staffs are fully trained and has vast knowledge about the history.
I am very thankful for the General Manager, Sale Director, and all staffs for their excellent services.
I felt that they treated me as a family members instead of the guest. I have considered that this hotel is my second home in Chiang Mai.
I will not consider stay anywhere else except my second home here.

PPawee Bank NontamongkoltornStaff: Mostly friendly and professional, except few. I asked the female staff for early check-in and left my luggage at the designated place. Then, she said, “No, you have to wait until 14:00”. Immediately after her response, the male staff approached me and processed it. He also allowed me to change room without any charge and to store my luggage in the room, instead of the designated area.
Room: For those who like 80s-90s vibe, this is for you, and me too. The AC is loud and cleaned. The ceiling, on the other hand, has strains from water. The curtain has a strain that looks like either blood or coffee. The wall looks unpolished, creating a running down impression of the hotel. The socket, TV, lift, and fridge are functional, fortunately. 2 bottles of water are set by the hotel standard. Please clean up those strains and walls.
Bathroom: It contains dusts on the ventilation fan’s cover. There is mold strain on the wall that could be mistaken as black mold initially. Please clean up it as it could evolve to such in the future.
Location: Not far away from the pubs, so music can get loud inside the room as it has poor soundproof. Unless you don’t mind the sound, or want to stay away from the city centre, go for it.

Pro: reasonable price. Great location. Friendly staffs swimming pool.
Con: room should be a bit more clean than that. AC was really loud.
