Restaurant lasagne middle warm while the dish itself couldn’t be touched as it was the only hot thing.
The Pool Pumps are high pitch streaming several times per day, which is very annoying.
Restaurant „reserves“ table for non showing guest for hours. Prevent us from sitting at a nicer spot. And removed the reserved sign when we were done. Don’t Reserve seats… all this does is upset off other customers.
The rooms were small and clean but the aircondition made a loud Sound very time the Compressor switched on. So sleeping well was not possible. The toilet Seat in the bath was just loosen attached an fall off on the time. Simple things no one seems to notice and fix… a bit disappointing
Also be aware that you cannot lock your door and keep the ac running, as they use physical keys for the door, welded to the AC activation card.

เราจองห้องสแตนดาร์ด 2 คืน ได้มาในราคาเฉลี่ย4ห้อง ตกคืนละประมาณ 1450 บาท สภาพอาคารค่อนข้างเก่า เราได้ห้องไม่ดี พื้นห้องเป็นไม้และบวมอาจมีสาเหตุมาจากแอร์น้ำหยด แอร์ไม่เย็น นอนร้อนทั้งคืน พื้นไม้เหมือนมีเชื้อรา ห้องมีกลิ่นอับ เราเป็นภูมิแพ้ ตอนอยู่ในห้องมีอาการจาม น้ำมูกไหล เนื่องจากดึกแล้วเลยทนนอน 1 คืน วันถัดมาเราเดินไปแจ้งพนักงานว่าแอร์น้ำหยด ห้องมีกลิ่นอับ พนักงานบอกว่าเด๋วแจ้งช่างให้ไปดูให้ค่ะ แค่นั้น ไม่มีเสนอจะเปลี่ยนห้องให้ แล้วเราก็เดินมาปรึกษากับครอบครัวซึ่งทางครอบครัวแนะนำให้ขอเปลี่ยนห้อง เราจึงเดินไปถามพนักงานอีกครั้งว่ามีห้องอื่นว่างมั๊ย ขอเปลี่ยนห้องได้มั๊ย พนักงานถึงให้เปลี่ยนห้อง ซึ่งตอนย้ายของไปห้องใหม่ ห้องเดิมก็มีช่างมาล้างแอร์ แต่พอเข้าไปห้องใหม่ 1.มีกลิ่นบุหรี่และแจ้งพนักงานให้แม่บ้านมาฉีดสเปรย์ 2.ไม่มีทีวีแต่ไม่เป็นไรเพราะไม่ได้ดู 3.ไม่มีไดร์เป่าผมอีก เราไม่อยากไปแจ้งพนักงานอีกรอบแล้ว เลยต้องไปยืมห้องน้องมาใช้แทน
เราชอบบรรยากาศโดยรวมของโรงแรมค่ะ ร่มรื่นดี อาหารอร่อย ราคาไม่แพง พนักงานส่วนใหญ่ก็น่ารักบริการดี อาหารเช้าก็อร่อยค่ะ แต่ต้องระวังลิง ลิงดุ เปิดประตูได้ ถ้ามีสัตว์เลี้ยงไปด้วยต้องระวัง มีโอกาสก็อยากไปอีกค่ะ แต่คงเลือกพักห้อง Type อื่นค่ะ

Для нас это классика не дорогого проживания, где есть все необходимое (для нас это кондиционер и холодильник, как минимум+бутилированная вода, туалетная бумага и полотенца с постельным бельем в базовой комплектации)+ухоженный сад + все рядом (магазины 7/11 и CJ, массажный салон, аптеки, пекарня, кафешки на любой вкус, макашницы с шашлычками и роти с бананом и шоколадом, фруктовые ларьки, сувениры, фудкорт с нашим любимым корнером Infinity, бары, шаговая доступность моря). Приятным бонусом free cofee на ресепшн(чай, кофе, сахар, сливки, бойлер, кружки). Можно тут же взять скутер в аренду. Мы вернемся)

Had a great 3-night stay in a Superior Room. The room was sparkling clean, the staff were lovely, and the resort gardens are a nice touch. The location is right in the center of everything. We rented a scooter from and could reach all the main spots in just a few minutes. Great value and super convenient!

Stupende villette situate in una lingua di sabbia tra da una parte il fiume che sfocia e l altro lato il mare. Meraviglioso!! Un po fuori dal mondo infatti per raggiungere il resort devi percorrere dalla strada principale altri 2km circa tra strada e sassi. La villetta ordinata e pulita, ancora ben tenuta. Niente colazione o mini market nelle vicinanze.

Stayed in a Family Bungalow with sea view. The listing states 1 queen and 2 singles but only singles were provided. Staff rectified by joining 2 single beds together for the parents. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast included was good enough, with a few new Thai options daily. The pool area could so with a revamp, sun loungers are old & cushions worn down. Kayaks for rent 150 baht/hour. The food choices on offer can become stale after a few nights. Other options mean travelling into Kai Bae which costs 200 baht each way. Given the location of the resort, It would have been nice if they offered a free shuttle service into town as walking is not an option.

Сейчас на острове все гостиницы «доживают», то есть они были крутыми 15 лет назад, потом было долгое затишье с туристами, и только последние пару лет снова поток стал восстанавливаться. Номер обычный на 2 этаже корпуса, очень уютно, красиво, ремонт конечно поживший и тем не менее впечатление приятное. Обслуживание отличное, хороший завтрак в соседней гостинице, массаж, бары на пляже- все есть. Ходят такси, на каждом углу аренда байков, магазин практически за углом от входа

This was an amazing hotel, very clean, and well maintained. The room was very spacious and cleaned daily with fresh towels. The pool was fantastic with plenty of sunbeds as was the beach area. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and nice coffee. The staff were very nice and attentive, they couldn't do enough for you. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Kho Chang.

Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort
I stayed in a room with a private pool. A little splurge on myself! It was so fun to have my own pool, to wake up in the morning and just jump into the water for a little cooling off. I could lay on the recliner and read to my heart’s content with no distractions, feet in the water.
Morning breakfasts are fantastic and the beach view is amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful.
What to know?: it’s the “Cliff Beach Resort”, which means your on a hill… which means climbing. It’SA steep walk from room to beach, but a great opportunity to get your blood flowing. Embrace it.
Room for growth: the bedding smelled a bit sour. It’s wet here, so making sure things dry properly is a challenge. My greatest complaint about the room is that there was a ladder propped up against the backside of the pool wall, meaning someone could climb it right into my private room. A little sketch. The ladder is for maintenance, so I just pushed it off the wall. The pool could use a bit of chlorine as algae was present on the pool walls, but honestly, I’d rather have the non-chemical water.
The biggest negative which the hotel has no control over is the nighttime noise. There’s a bar across the street which pumps loud music (starting at 10pm and going til like 4am). The hotel actually gives you earplugs when you check in. So lame.
There’s two pools. One up on top of the cliff with excellent views. One down by the ocean.
Overall, a pleasant stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a wonderful stay at The Aiyapura Koh Chang. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and welcoming. The king room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The resort itself is beautifully located in a peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the special arrangements at the restaurant made our evening even more memorable. The view, atmosphere, and overall service were excellent.
The facilities are well maintained, and the quiet beachfront setting makes it ideal for couples looking to unwind and enjoy nature.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Koh Chang. 🌴✨

PPestova NataliaThe hotel is old, like really old, it was built in **** and it’s very visible. The bedsheets, towels are so old and dirty like 2 star motel.
Deluxe family room looks like rooms in **** also. Not modern at all. We upgraded to villa (had to pay a lot for this) and it’s good, a bit old but much better, with beach view and private territory.
The territory of hotel is really beautiful and big, it’s like a park and beach is great. You can also take cayak to get to the small island nearby. The birds (hornbills) that live at the hotel are really beautiful and worth seeing!
Everything closes really early - even game room - it’s just a room with board games and we wanted to play there and the staff told us that they were closing at 7.30 p.m! Why not open this room until 10 at least 😀
No evening activities at all. Everything gets quiet and dead at 7 p.m. There is beach cinema announcement at reception on Sundays, but when we arrived on Sunday, the staff told us that there will be no movies 🫣

Прекрасная территория и пляж. Птицы-носороги - это восторг.
Обезьяны нас не беспокоили - но мы жили на вилле рядом с морем. Думаю, в лесных номерах их полно..
В 7 часов вечера в отеле все закрывается, полная тишина. Никаких развлечений.
Пляж прекрасный, надеюсь, что отель займется реновацией номеров, приведением их в современный стиль.

Excellent food and brilliant service. The staff helped the kids during meal times.
Everything can be done by the hotel but there are local amenities just a minutes walk away including laundry and Marco’s fantastic Italian.
The hotel is split into 2 parts opposite each other - water park is where most families like us stayed, the beach side is also great. I didn’t realise the beach was so beautiful- definitely worth a visit. The beach here was much nicer than down the coast: soft yellow sand and gently getting deeper- good for kids.
High recommend.

MML010Located on beautiful White Sand Beach, this purported five-star resort is one of the more luxurious offerings on the island. It is however quite far from the main town (+40 mins by songthaew taxi), with mostly mediocre tourist things in the direct vicinity (expect 150 THB+ one-way to reach any decent restaurant). I booked it because my friends stayed there, so I had little choice, regretfully. While the staff is friendly, warm and helpful, showcasing true Thai hospitality at its best, it could not overcome the poor hotel experience. Especially since the hotel drives up prices aggressively: I paid almost 4x what my friends paid for the exact same accommodation (12K THB/night), severely damaging the value-for-money assessment.
Arrival sets the tone. No porters at the lobby until I attempted to haul my luggage upstairs myself. Rooms are not available before 2pm; even if you book in advance and communicate early arrival, you can just go fish. Front desk staff is friendly but very busy, and I was turned away as they prioritized departing guests. Not exactly the warm welcome expected at this price. There is no air-conditioned space in the lobby, so guests wait in the heat or purchase a coffee next door. The “guest lounge” turned out to be a derelict storeroom with no air-conditioning, stacked with leftover furniture and no bar or restaurant in sight.
Despite audacious pricing, this is not a true five-star establishment. It is a mass-market, high-volume family beach resort with four pools, devoid of exclusivity or subtlety. The two main pools host happy hours for early afternoon binge-drinking. The other two have zero service and poor maintenance (closed bar, broken chairs). The resort is huge: a quieter Villa section; a main section with dated “Deluxe” rooms; and an annex Hillside building across the road with a rooftop pool and slightly newer rooms.
Rooms are reasonably furnished with good amenities (beach bag, towels, slippers), but cleanliness is a serious issue. Upon arrival my floor was sandy and the room infested with mosquitoes due to sloppy cleaning practices. Requests for water, towels and ice went unanswered for hours. The Deluxe room is worn down, clearly a converted twin, leaving no bedside sockets to charge a phone. There was not even a socket for the room’s own lamps. Amateur hour.
After one night I had to move to Hillside due to booking issues; there was no way to remain in the same room. The rooms are newer, but the building feels poorly maintained. You walk past stacks of old mattresses left in the open to reach a musty elevator. The annex reception doubles as an evening gathering spot for guests drinking and smoking. My “hillside poolview” room overlooked the main road and next-door private pools, offering little privacy. Facilities were marginally better, but still not worth the price. Bed was fine. Housekeeping was dreadful: the bathroom was skipped altogether, leaving a dirty toilet and used toiletries untouched. At this price and class, unforgivable. Again, many mosquitoes.
Breakfast at the main restaurant is decent and service good: made-to-order eggs, Thai pork noodle soup, warm Thai and Western dishes, plus oats, pastries, fruits and juices. Served until 10:30am, and credit to management for not shutting it down on the dot.
Other facilities are worn by intensive use: sunbeds (hard to secure), main pools (single entrance despite huge size), and spa (beachfront massage amid constant noise of children).
In conclusion, without most of the excellent staff, this would have been a nightmare. Their friendliness could not compensate for offensively priced, poorly cleaned rooms and a mediocre mass-market resort experience. Refuse this place if it asks more than 6K THB per night. At higher prices, there are true five-star options; at this level, better value exists elsewhere.

A very cozy, clean, and comfortable hotel that makes you feel at home from the very first days.
The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the snow-white bed linen is a real pleasure to sleep in.
The air conditioning works perfectly — the temperature in the room was always comfortable.
Special thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for.
Honestly, I was almost in tears when it was time to leave.
This is a place you want to come back to again and again.
Stage Hotel is not just a hotel — it’s a feeling of comfort, calm, and warmth away from home.
We will definitely return ❤️

AAmideeThis hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood!
The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable.
It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat!
Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there!
The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming.
You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!

It is an excellent choice if you want privacy, relaxation, and great swimming pools, but it is not the best choice if you want to swim in the ocean directly from the hotel beach.
Key Features
• Location: It is located at Bai Lan Bay, which is south of the popular ”Lonely Beach.” It is very quiet. To find nightlife or a variety of street food, you will likely need to take a taxi or rent a motorbike to drive about 5-10 minutes to Lonely Beach or Kai Bae.
• The Beach: Important Note: The hotel has a private beachfront, but it is quite rocky. It is beautiful for sunsets and relaxing on bean bags, but it is generally not suitable for swimming due to the rocks.
• Pools: To make up for the rocky beach, the hotel has two excellent swimming pools. One is a large free-form pool by the ocean, which is very popular with guests.
• Rooms: The resort offers a range of rooms from Standard to Private Pool Villas. The rooms are generally reviewed as spacious and modern with Thai influences. The Pool Villas are highly recommended for couples seeking privacy.
