The best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. Papa - here are my words of love from the bottom of my heart, for your care. For every morning and evening When I came to the pool bar, I always smiled when I saw you! Thank you for your kindness. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. The rooms and beds - a separate love Nowhere else have I found such comfortable and ergonomically correct beds Not only a locker, shelf, lamp and socket, but also a large amount of space on the side of the bed where you can conveniently lay out your things (and hide your backpack in a large locker under the bed) No mess and always clean. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! Great hotel. Feels very new, fancy public areas and rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and fresh. Balcony was a nice thing also. Location is not that bad but there was a really annoying trumpet playing early morning from the nearby military compound. Otherwise no noise from street or corridor. Staff was good and mostly helpful but check in and out a bit cumbersome. Breakfast options really amazing. Also had some drinks and snacks at the rooftop bar but plenty things sold out. Would definitely come back but then try get a room facing the other side away from the trumpet people.

This is a hotel that I really like and frequently use. I often stay in the suite rooms here. If you do not have your own motorbike or car to drive, it might be difficult to stay at this hotel because there are not many places to go or convenience facilities nearby. However, the staff are always friendly and everything is clean. The breakfast is also good. Overall, I am satisfied with almost everything about this hotel. I usually stay in the suites, but the carpet in the suite rooms is often dirty and you can see stains on it. Sometimes the sink lever is broken or the water does not drain well. I visit quite often, but it seems like these repairs are not handled very well, which is a bit disappointing. Still, I am satisfied with the service and overall quality of the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in Waterfront City, making it easy to travel to both Cat Bi International Airport and Hai Phong city center. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, while the swimming pool and restaurant met my expectations for a hotel of this standard. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the service, especially at the front office. Although the hotel was not particularly busy during my stay, the staff did not appear very welcoming, and greetings were often missing. There was also no luggage assistance upon arrival. When I asked about the possibility of a late check-out, the front desk responded in a rather inflexible and unfriendly manner, which left a disappointing impression. In addition, no one asked whether I was a One Harmony member or informed me of any applicable member benefits. On a positive note, the security staff were excellent—very proactive in guiding me to the parking area and providing clear directions, which I truly appreciated. Overall, the hotel’s facilities and location are solid, but a warmer and more guest-oriented service culture would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Stayed at Wink Hotel Hai Phong and had a great experience. Conveniently located in Hai Phong, the hotel offers a modern, stylish design with smart features. Rooms are compact but very well designed, clean, and comfortable. The self check-in system is fast and efficient. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities like the co-working space and 24/7 lounge add extra value. Overall, a trendy, good-value hotel ideal for business or short stays.

Flamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points. During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

Here’s my honest, heart-felt take on Aui Nguyen Trai in Hai Phong City, Vietnam. From the moment I stepped through the doors, Aui Nguyen Trai felt like a calm exhale in the middle of the city’s lively rhythm. The location is spot-on—close enough to Hai Phong’s cafés, markets, and landmarks for easy wandering, yet tucked just enough off the main flow to stay quiet at night. The rooms are bright, thoughtfully laid out, and impeccably clean; little details—good water pressure, comfortably firm mattresses, and reliable Wi-Fi—made it effortless to settle in after a day out. Service is where the hotel truly shines. Staff were warm without being overbearing, quick with local tips, and genuinely proactive—everything from a smooth check-in to helping with rides and recommendations felt easy and human. Public spaces are tidy and modern, and the overall vibe is understated—more “well-curated haven” than flashy boutique, which I loved. Value for money is excellent; you get the kind of comfort and consistency that usually costs more. If you’re visiting Hai Phong for work or a quick city break before heading to the islands, this is a place that makes travel feel simple—in the best possible way. I’d gladly stay here again.

Most positive point is very useful location! This hotel is closely from bus line, and easy to go to drink to somewhere! So cost and performance is very great! And following picture's bar was very good. I recommend this place to go to drink somewhere.
