MMattSchmattGreat hotel. Feels very new, fancy public areas and rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and fresh. Balcony was a nice thing also. Location is not that bad but there was a really annoying trumpet playing early morning from the nearby military compound. Otherwise no noise from street or corridor. Staff was good and mostly helpful but check in and out a bit cumbersome. Breakfast options really amazing. Also had some drinks and snacks at the rooftop bar but plenty things sold out. Would definitely come back but then try get a room facing the other side away from the trumpet people.

GGiangpThe room is starting to show its age, but it remains very well maintained, functional, and thoughtfully equipped. Everything worked as expected, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. In-room dining was on the expensive side, but the portions were surprisingly generous and good for sharing. The only downside was the road construction right next to the hotel. The noise continued throughout the day and sometimes into the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault, but it did affect the overall experience. Other than that, everything was great and I would happily stay again.

PPengguna TetamuFlamingo Bay Resort in Cat Ba has a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and nearby attractions. The setting is definitely one of its strongest points. During my stay, there were quite a lot of kids around, which made some areas feel a bit noisy and less relaxing than expected. Also, the outdoor pool was under renovation at the time, which was a bit disappointing since it’s one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Overall, it’s a solid choice for its location, but the experience may vary depending on what you’re looking for in terms of atmosphere and available facilities.

IIgor-KНомер чистый, все необходимое есть. Персонал доброжелательный, стремятся помочь. Дизайн отеля и номеров немного специфический, в стиле шика из 90х, но это не критично. Расположение немного в отдалении от центральных улиц, но сам район нормальный. Я остался всем доволен.

SShardaleI needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.
