"Perfect place to stay in the rainforest. We planned to make excursions in the area to seek birds and wildlife. They all came to us. Cassowaries and delicate little pademelons under our veranda. Green-winged pigeons, whip birds, catbirds, rifle-birds visiting. Missed one photo of rifle-bird because it was perched on camera. Scrub turkeys everywhere. Possums. Stream just below with turtles and platypuses. Complementary tour with resident nature expert, who pointed out tree kangaroo and fluorescent lichen. Cabins are charming, tucked into forest so you're unaware of neighbours and feel very private. Fire on cold evenings, well equipped kitchen, to cook at home, since it seemed foolish to be elsewhere. Highly recommended."

"Our room was clean, comfortable and modern. The reason to visit Chambers though isn’t for the room but the location and the wildlife spotting, We loved our overnight stay and it was a perfect location for a two day tour of the tablelands. Being down a track in the middle of the rainforest really felt special and we were all blown away by the wildlife we were able to see from the hide in the evening. "

"Best air bnb type accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely immaculate. It was clean, extremely well appointed and had everything you could possibly need plus many little extras. Location is perfect to explore the Atherton Tablelands region. Hosts were so welcoming but while they lived in a seperate house on the same property, I never knew they were there, my privacy was completely respected."

"What an amazing place. It can be found along a track about 3km off the nearest road. On arrival the owner met us and explained the walks and gave us a tip that we could see platypus in Yungabarra just up the road at dusk, we did see them too. The treehouse we had was 2 bedrooms and had a proper kitchen(except an oven) with a super duper microwave that cooked anything!. You receive a welcome hamper in the fridge which has eggs, bread, milk and cereal. The views are amazing and the noises of the insects at night and the birds at sunrise will live with you forever. There are a few walks on the property or you can venture out to one of the local lakes. We saw the musk rat kangaroos and lorikeets being fed in the morning at reception."

"We booked the entire Mt Quincan Crater Retreat for our wedding and stayed for four nights. From the minute we arrived, we knew we’d made the right choice. The warm welcome set the tone for our whole stay. Freshly baked scones with jam and cream, along with a homemade loaf of bread, were waiting for us when we arrived. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel instantly at home. Our cabin was beautiful. The fireplace, spa bath, robes and knitted slippers made it feel so cosy and relaxing. Everything was spotless, and you could tell how much care goes into looking after the retreat. The views are absolutely stunning. Looking out over the rolling green hills towards the Seven Sisters, with cows grazing in the paddocks below, is something we’ll never forget. Every morning we sat outside with a coffee, listened to the birds and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was exactly what we needed. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The fresh local produce provided was delicious, and we loved being able to cook it ourselves and enjoy it on the deck while taking in the view. Having the entire retreat exclusively for our wedding made the weekend even more special. We held our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our family and friends could relax, enjoy themselves and really make the most of the beautiful surroundings. It created such a warm, intimate atmosphere that we’ll remember forever. The location is also great, with Atherton only a short drive away if you need to grab anything during your stay. If you’re visiting the area, we’d also recommend spending some time in Yungaburra. We had great meals and coffee at the Yungaburra Hotel, Our Place and Mr Belson’s Café. Mt Quincan isn’t just a place to stay—it’s somewhere that stays with you long after you leave. It was the perfect place to celebrate the biggest weekend of our lives, and we honestly can’t wait to come back."

"A wonderful place deep in the forest where all you can hear is the birds - and get the most fantastic views of them. Our bungalow was just beautiful. It was clear that so much thought had gone into providing us with anything that we might need for a great stay - it felt, and was, generous. The port in the crystal decanter was just the loveliest touch and we will never forget the wonderful displays from 'our' riflebirds, whipbirds, catbirds and so many more. Highly recommended!"
