WWendThe hotel is new and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool is spacious and clean. The room comes with an amazing view of the mountains. The breakfast is delicious and freshly made. There’s also afternoon tea with an amazing fruit platter and the night drink. We had an amazing experience! Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuDe Vivre Daizhai Hotel is more than just a hotel…it is an experience. From the moment you arrive you’ll be treated like royalty and made to feel like part of the family. Nothing is too much effort for Elva and her friendly team.
The beautiful boutique hotel is exquisitely designed down to the last detail, and for keen photographers it’s a dream come true. The surroundings are stunning, and the hotel provides a pocket of peace while still being conveniently located and close enough to the beach.
This is by far my favourite place I’ve stayed in a long time on all of my travels, and I would come back next weekend if I could! Highly recommended for a weekend, or week, in Wanning!

PPengguna TetamuI only spent 5 days at Roots, but I left the place with so many memories that it felt like much longer. The owners, Shuiku and XiaoXiao, are incredibly nice and welcoming: they helped me find a great surf coach, indicated where to get good food and where to surf the best waves (we even surfed together a few times!). They really made sure that everyone at the hostel had a good time: for Chinese New Year, we had a home cooked Chinese New Year dinner for friends and guests. It was lovely.
I only speak a tiny bit of Chinese, but this was no problem, as both the owners and many of the guests spoke English.
Finally, apart from the nice people, the hostel itself is very comfortable to stay at: it’s clean, in a calm location surrounded by rice fields and cute coffee shops, and only a 5-10min scooter ride to the beach.
I hope I can make it back to Roots one day, I already miss it!

PPengguna TetamuOur family of 6 stayed at Yandunhai No 1 Courtyard. My MIL particularly likes the SMART AI facilities in the room. She enjoyed herself talking to “Xiao Duo”- AI Speaker that played her favourite songs.
We enjoyed the quietness of the entire courtyard, as it was during the lull period of travel to Hainan. I must mention that the staff at YandunHai were particularly helpful and friendly. They went the extra mile to arrange their own transportation, ferrying us to nearby “Yan Zi Dong” to experience the ATV and scenic photo shoot, as well as to Hele Station to catch our high-speed train to Sanya—all at no cost to us.
To us, their service was truly fantastic.

Отель новый, открылся в 2025 году, но уже чувствуется серьёзный подход к деталям.
Мне понравилась атмосфера — территория зелёная, ухоженная, с видом на рисовые поля и пальмы, при этом чувствуется стиль: марокканские мотивы, много антикварных вещей, красивое освещение. Очень чисто, спокойно, нет ощущения перегруженности.
Номер просторный, чистый, с выходом в бассейн. Из приятных мелочей — мини-бар, проектор вместо обычного ТВ (подключили ноутбук и смотрели сериальчики).
Отдельно отмечу сервис - на связи 24/7, любую просьбу решали быстро и без лишних вопросов. Помогли с возвратом оставленных вещей в другой гостинице
Развлечения в самом отеле — приятный сюрприз. Можно бесплатно взять сапборд, сходить на йогу или собрать урожай в саду. Есть кино под открытым небом, мини-гольф. Детям тоже есть чем заняться - творческие занятия по расписанию.
Расположение удобное: до серф-пляжа Riyue Bay — минут 10 на бесплатном трансфере отеля. На пляже можно поужинать - большой выбор кафе и баров.
Отель оставил очень хорошее впечатление. Подходит и для спокойного отдыха, и для активного (сёрфинг, прогулки). Качество сервиса и состояние номеров выше ожиданий. Рекомендую, если цените комфорт, уединение и внимание к деталям.

VValentin BriandPerfect apartment for a stay close to surfing spots, bars and not too far from a little village.
We recommend renting an E-Bike for your stay (50¥ / day). Explore the village and the road going to the mountain. Go to the best surfing spot in China and rent a board to surf with locals or just enjoy a cup of coffee with a view !
The location is perfect, the apartment is clean and includes towels, bedsheets, cleaned every day.

PPengguna TetamuThe bunk bed was rock hard, and the thin “mattress” was filthy. The showers were falling apart, but there are also newer showers in the bathroom stalls which were usable. Wifi was incredibly slow, I could not load a single web page on my laptop.
This is an absolutely gorgeous area, and there are a ton of cute cats and a cute golden retriever, which were a huge plus. The communal meals were also delicious and cheap.
If you can put up with the hard beds and lack of cleanliness, and don’t need WiFi, this would be a great place for you. But I needed WiFi so I left this place after 2 nights.

PPengguna TetamuThe vibe at Surfers Garden is chill and cool but a little bit too much. My room had no towels, no toilet paper. Cabinet to store my things in the shared room couldn’t lock. The room itself can’t lock from the outside as well and too often when I was looking for someone at the reception there were no one …
When you finally catch someone to give you a towel, be aware that it’s a disposable towel. So better bring your own.
In the morning, don’t hope to get a coffee at their bar before 9am or 10am. The whole place looks a bit messy and the reception space looks unfinished. Staff is friendly tho.
The guesthouse is surrounded by many little shops and local restaurants. You can reach the Ri Yue Wan beach where you will find bar/coffee, clubs, shops, surfing clubs etc. in 15 min walking or 5min by e-bike. Ri Yue Wan beach area is definitely the place to be to enjoy a good “beach/surfer” vibe sipping a cocktail in front of the beach. At night, this place turn into a music festival area where everyone display live show music and DJ and expect fireworks on the beach almost every 15min. If you are looking for surfing club in this area, I would recommend to check Shaka surf club. Good service, good price, and so far the most professional to me at Ri Yue Wan.
