"We only stayed for one night as this was the hotel chosen for us by Tui after our return flight was delayed for 24 hours. Hotel was built in the 1970's and you can guess this without consulting Google. Food was OK and it is a great location for swimming in the lake. There is also a tennis court and 'beach' bars (we saw no sandy beaches at Lake Ohrid), but the hotel backs onto a main road without pavements, so you go for a walk at your own risk. A long way from Ohrid, it felt a little isolated, a bit like a prison. It certainly isn't a 4-star as per the Tui brochure. Don't book here unless you intend to spend a week by the pool and/or the lake."

"This villa has a spectacular view from your bedroom! Your balcony is right in front of your bed with the most awesome view of Lake Ohrid and the mountainside behind you. Very spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows, nice size refrigerator in the room with you. There is a kitchen that you can utilize to cook with. Stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans. There is also salt and spices that you can use too. The cons is the location. Especially if you do not rent a car. Unless you have service on your cell phone where you can call a taxi you will have to rely on the host to call the Taxi for you to get into town. It is a 15 minute drive into town. The taxi ride cost seven dollars each way. There is no rideshare app that you can use in that area. Once you’re in town, it is easy to pick up a taxi from there. You can walk up to anyone along the street and ask them for a ride back to the Villa. "

"I thought it was incredibly cheap! For less than NT$2,000, you get a kitchen, sofa, double bed, and a total of 45 ping (approximately 26.7 square meters). The owner asked when I arrived so they could turn on the heating in advance, which was very thoughtful! At check-in, they even gave me a book about North Macedonia and a map of the surrounding area, and in the evening, they even gave me a bottle of red wine! The owner's excellent attitude made my stay in Ohrid unforgettable. I highly recommend everyone check it out!"

"Im trying to find something positive to right and im finding it extremely difficult. This hotel is very old , evening meal was like a cattle market when things are finished not replaced so you get whatever is left at meal times. The location was excellent close to some nice bars and restaurants with beach front and sea views.. would not stay again . Was probably very nice in the 90s. The rooms were dirty too"

"Very poor. The location is superb but the hotel is very poor and the staff don't seem to care. The first room we were given had old food wrappers and dirty ear buds in the bedside drawers. The second room was bigger but the balcony door was hanging dangerously from a broken hunger, the air conditioning didn't work, the shower didn't work properly, the phone didn't work and there was no fridge. Cleanliness standards are poor and the breakfast nearly inedible. "

"In July 2025, my family and I stayed at Hotel Ohrid, located on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Rooms facing the front have lake views, but those at the back overlook a side road and the backyard, which isn't very appealing. Ohrid city center is a 15-20 minute walk away. The rooms are very small and cramped; the hotel and its architecture need renovation. The restaurant is large and nice. You can enjoy a coffee and watch the surroundings in the restaurant on the ground floor. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are reasonable. It's acceptable in terms of price-performance ratio…"

"For what we paid don't regret our choice. Not 4x, great scenery from hotel, lake tremendous. Lovely village 5 euro taxi. Most limited food offering we've ever had. Veal and pork main dishes. I coped with breakfast, eggs on cardboard toast every day. Don't do fruit or cereals. Bar shuts at 10, which strangely didn't cause us a problem. No where to walk to. No entertainment. Beer and wine were good. Weather was fantastic. Would we go again, yes at the price we paid, but not as a main holiday."

"I received a message the day before check-in with the entrance code and room number, so I was able to get in immediately upon arrival. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Old Town, which is great for sightseeing. It's a bit of a hike up a hill, which can be tough with luggage, but the views are beautiful because of it. The sheets and bath towels were clean, and the floor and bathroom were generally well-cleaned. However, the window panes were dirty, and the window frames were grimy with several dead small insects (I couldn't stand it, so I did a quick clean of the window frames myself). The lake view truly is amazing, though. There's also a small balcony, but it was covered in cobwebs. Amenities were plentiful, with a fridge, kettle, and tea bags provided. Unfortunately, the inside of the fridge was dirty with some kind of liquid and mold, so I didn't use it. The kettle had old water in it, so I washed it before using it. The bathroom fan (which turns on with the light switch) was quite loud, so even though I wanted to ventilate, I turned it off because of the noise. The room key was loose and wobbly, making it difficult to handle. There was only a trash can in the toilet, which was inconvenient. If you're not bothered by small details, I think this could be a comfortable place to stay."

"Hotel Drim is a lovely hotel, beautifully situated by the lake in Struga. The rooms, although somewhat dated and noisy, are kept impeccably clean. While the food selection is not very extensive or varied, everything offered tastes delicious. In the evenings, there is no entertainment at the hotel, and on weekends, there can be parties with quite loud music until 1 AM. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to our host, Bajram, who was always ready with a smile to assist us and ensure everything was perfectly arranged. The hotel also boasts a stunning beach right on the lake. Struga itself is a charming town with many restaurants along the Black Drim River and various small shops. The location provides a perfect blend of relaxation by the lake and the lively atmosphere of a bustling town."
