MMengmengmamaChoosing InterContinental Osaka was hands down the smartest decision I made!
The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go!
The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it!
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless!
When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming!
It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!

LLilian Liew See ChinI recently stayed at this hotel in Osaka and, while the property itself is commendable, I had a very disappointing experience with a front desk staff member named Sears.
When I politely asked to borrow a pen to sign some paperwork, rather than assisting me in a courteous manner, she reacted with clear irritation, rolling her eyes and displaying a lack of professionalism. This behavior continued when I asked her a few questions, and it was evident that she had no intention of providing the friendly service one would expect from a hotel of this quality.
It was disheartening to witness her treating not only myself but also other guests in a similar disrespectful manner during checkin. This experience significantly tarnished an otherwise enjoyable trip.
I strongly urge management to address this issue as customer service should reflect the high standards of the hotel. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst front desk experiences I've encountered. I hope future guests do not have to deal with similar treatment.

CCincindycThe hotel is very close to Universal Studio and JR station. We went to the city and its only 20min by JR, very convenient. The room is big enough, we had a double bed and 2 single beds for 4 ppl. My kids had a fantastic trip!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a superb location, directly opposite the Tenmabashi subway station exit. The self-check-in machines at the front desk offer Chinese language support, and staff are readily available to assist. Moreover, the subway station is conveniently located right beneath a shopping mall, making it incredibly easy to find dining and shopping options. The area itself is more residential, so you'll encounter mostly locals, ensuring a more relaxed atmosphere free from overwhelming tourist crowds. Osaka Castle Park is just a ten-minute walk away, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Tenshukaku (main tower) from the hotel.

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room.
The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds).
Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid.
There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games.
As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for the second time and was impressed by its consistent quality. The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.

DDesignYourLifeTips❤️Very close to Bentencho train station. A lot of good izakaya restaurants and convenience store surrounding that area. Most importantly, is just a few minutes train to Universal Studio Japan. Very comfortable and clean stay, staff is friendly and helpful. Defintely recommend this for business travel or leisure.

GGuest UserThe hotel is centrally located in the Juso district, not too far from Juso Station. A great supermarket (Don Quijote) is situated very nearby. Juso also offers plenty of affordable, tasty, and less crowded options for food.
Juso Station is primarily served by the Hankyu Railway and is therefore not on the JR Line. If you’re using a JR Pass and aiming to save costs, this may be a factor for consideration because we found we had to travel to the Osaka metro station to get to places. That being said, the cost of the hotel was reasonable, perhaps offsetting the additional travel expenses. Additionally, Juso is a nice area.
We enjoyed interacting with the hotel staff, who were very friendly and always did their best to help us. Check-out was automated.

KKwong YanSmall hotel at Osaka, that provides up to standard service at a very reasonable price. Breakfast is quite good and is freshly prepared, not like those only providing basic food. It is difficult to find similar hotel in a big city like Osaka. If you take JR, you have to come out from the main access and walk towards the AKA hotel, or you can take 600yens taxis to the hotel from the station
