✨ Acro Capsule Hotel (Japan) 🇯🇵 My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected! 📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient. 🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light. 🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer. 👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier. 👍 Pros: - Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers - Excellent central location - Secure system with lockers for your belongings ⚠️ Cons: - If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one) - Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space - It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times 💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!

This was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Let’s start with the positive aspects first: The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy. Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated. Now, onto the things that bothered me: First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant. During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while. That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well. Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic. Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm. One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside. I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

The location is smack bang in the middle of everything. stone throws away from dotonbori. seconds away from the metro station exit 25. capsule was clean and facilities well kept. will be back again!

First of all, the host very responsive. Every time I ask via email, very fast response. The room very clean and equiped with washing machine, got balcony can hang the clothes after wash. Can fit for 2 handcarry luggage. Walkable around 400m from Shin Imamiya station (north gate). Overall experience is great😊

The locationn is very close to shopping areas such as Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Kuromon Market. There's also a large, inexpensive supermarket nearby, located behind the building. The accommodation is clean, towels, liquid soap, and shampoo are provided. The bed is a good size, not too narrow. My room was on the second floor and had limited space for luggage. There's a corner outside the room with tea and coffee service and a refrigerator, but it's quite cramped. You can buy food and heat it up there. Because the accommodation doesn't have much common space, you need to be mindful of noise levels.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby. The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best. The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep. Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!

The location is very close to Dontonbori, and nanba station, totally walkable. Everything inside the hotel is clean, many shower rooms, no need to wait. One of the best girl capsule hotel I've ever stayed. Will definitely come back next time when I visit Kansai!

It's in a good location near to Nippombashi and Shinsaibashi metro. Bed was comfortable and spacious, showers are clean and well maintained. It's good except that it seems like there are travelers or resident living in the dorm which are weird and strange in my opinion.

Location is perfect for those who needs to use the train. If you are coming from airport, the train (with lift) is around 500m away from hotel. Hotel has a big table in the reception for doing work with plug point. Also in the reception area there is baggage storage with lock. Reception personnel has timing. So good to have your dealings before they knock off. And the main door is lock after 10pm for safety reason. Guest will be given passcode.

Berhampiran stesen kereta api pada tiga laluan (trem 1), sangat mudah. Penginapan agak lama, tetapi kebersihannya sederhana. Isyarat Wi-Fi mungkin hilang jika bilik itu jauh dari penghala. Secara keseluruhan, ia bagus. Bilik mandi mempunyai pancuran mandian dan tab mandi. Bilik mandi mempunyai penyembur. Terdapat kawasan umum, yang selesa. Bilik ini mempunyai penghawa dingin peribadi dan peti sejuk. Terdapat tuala percuma. Harga yang baik. Jika anda tinggal di bandar lain selama 1 malam, anda boleh meninggalkan beg anda.
