"The room and the service in the hotel were both really good, we were very pleased. However, the location was a disaster, it was central and incredibly noisy with mopeds roaring around late into the night and early morning, the noise insulation was really poor. There also was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and while breakfast was fine it was very expensive. Unfortunately due to the noise levels we wouldn’t stay here again, a shame as there is a lot to like but we left feeling exhausted."

The location is excellent, just a short walk from both the beach and the train station, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Our room was spotless and well maintained throughout our stay. We also loved the atmosphere of the hotel, which is beautifully decorated with photographs and paintings that give it a unique and artistic charm. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Hotel San Desiderio to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and authentic place to stay. "The hotel is in a very convenient location: 10 minutes walk from the train station, on the embankment. It was not indicated anywhere, so I will write that there is a mini-fridge in the room (water in it is paid, but you can not take it, and use the refrigerator). The bathroom, as we say, is separate. Nearby is an intersection with a roundabout, it is noisy with the windows open, but quiet at night."
