"My friend and I visited this hotel for the first time on New Year’s Eve 2026, and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rooms were cosy and very clean, the steam bath and sauna were excellent, and the food was abundant, diverse, and genuinely tasty. However, the real strength of this place is its staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, not only professionally trained and polite, but also sincerely warm and attentive toward the guests. I was particularly impressed by the way the hotel manager handled an unpleasant situation involving a family with two very young children who had unknowingly booked through a fake travel agency and arrived without a valid reservation. She not only found a solution but treated the family with remarkable care and empathy, as if they were close friends. It was clear that she has the ability to make every guest feel special and truly looked after. Every request we made was met with personal attention. Before our arrival, we casually mentioned by phone that we would need an electric kettle, and without any further reminder, it was already waiting for us in the room. We were also offered free transport to and from Bansko on New Year’s Eve, whenever we wished. What truly makes this hotel stand out is the human connection: the relationships between staff and guests create a friendly, family-like atmosphere in which you feel comfortable, genuinely welcomed, and warmly accepted — an atmosphere that makes you want to return again. "We checked in on September 10th, and immediately upon arrival, the receptionist insisted we only had one person booked in their system, offering to pay for a second person for three more nights. After we persisted, she called someone to check, and it turned out everything was fine and we had paid for everything. She was rude, as if we were being rude. We also booked a room with two separate beds, as the photos showed, but they gave us a room with one queen bed. We upgraded to another with two queen beds, but we had to separate them and ask for two sheets. She also said the washing machine was broken, and two days later, another girl said only the dryer was broken, and we didn't have time to wash our clothes. The outlets on one wall in the room didn't work, and the TV didn't work either. The kitchen has a stove, but no pots or pans, so we couldn't cook anything. The breakfasts were quite good, with plenty to choose from and enjoy. The rooms were really clean. The spa and pool were practically deserted at that time, but swimming was possible. There weren't many restaurant options for dinner, and the nearby restaurant was only open three days a week, which was too late for dinner. The gym didn't have much equipment, and one was broken, which was a concern for my husband, who was upset. It's worth a visit if you have your own car and want some peace and quiet."

"Great Mountain resort with external pools and stunning views. We are not golf players, but they offered free golf lessons. It was really interesting for us, as we have never tried to pay golf before. Food was delicious and the variety was enough to satisfy individual preferences. Rooms are spacious and are well equipped. Staff is speaking also English, which help foreigners to receive all the information needed."

"Just got back from a 7 night stay. Family of 5 2 adults 3 children (17,15,7). We had a 4th floor 2 bedroom apartment. The views were beautiful and the location was lovely altho you would need car hire as a bit out of nowhere. The apartment was ok bit basic. On arrival we had no kettle, cutlery or cooking equipment. I contacted reception who informed me that they dont leave it in the room it has to be requested (this was not advised on website or booking info) they promptly brought up all we needed tho. Being on the 4th floor we had ceiling that sloped this proved to be challenging in the double bedroom and the bathroom. The double room had ceiling windows the blinds were all broken and one of the blinds had been screwed to the wrong part of the window meaning you couldn’t open it. The bed was a bit unstable headboard broke off (my partner had to screw it back on). Mattress quite hard and uncomfortable. No side lights so you have to switch the main light off before getting into bed which can be fun in the dark lol. The twin room was nice and spacious plenty of room but yet again mattresses quite hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom had toilet bath and over bath shower. However the toilet didnt work (luckily there was a separate toilet) and you couldn’t stand up in the shower due to the slope on the roof. Living area nice and spacious. Sofa bed easy to work altho really uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. It advises WIFI but thats only in the reception lobby not in the rooms. Outside pool was very cold (i dont think it was heated) and floor around the pool was very uneven with some broken slabs and loose cement. PE toy of sun beds altho there was a lot of broken ones. Didn’t use the spa, gym or steam room. Indoor pool was nice and warm, a little small but ok for a handful of people. Only used restaurant for breakfast which was continental with plenty of choice. Staff seemed ok they didnt really talk or interact that much tbh. It seems a nice hotel but we just felt that our room needs a bit of money spent on it to help improve it. I’m not sure if we would stay again "

"We went for a skiing trip to Bansko with friends who are Bulgarian, and they recommended this hotel. We didn’t regret the choice! Sadly, there was no snow this December in Bansko, which meant we had to rely on our hotel to somehow compensate the disappointment. It didn’t fail: the spa is excellent with many varied steam rooms and two pools (inside/outside); the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant had varied and tasty food. There is a small gym in the hotel, which we didn’t use much, and a game room, which we did use a lot. Everything was working well and the wi-fi had good speed. From negatives: there is absolutely nothing to do outside the hotel as it stands kind of in the middle of nowhere. It it’s only a 10 minutes drive to Bansko, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and a pretty old town. There is also a skating rink there, too. Also, the water in the pool was too warm for me to stay any longer than 5-10 minutes. It was easily 31-32C. However, if you swim outside it provided a nice contrast to the cost air. Also,"
