"Solo female travellers , If you have a late night flight or an early one from daxing , this is the place to stay!!!! The receptionsts were incredibly helpful and accomodating and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable . My luggage wheels have been broken due to a flight and they helped me in the best ways possible. The airport shuttle is a fantastic service that picks up and drops off every 30 mins on time with the airport being 10-15 mins away . They upgraded my room and offered me face masks which was very nice of them . I only stayed for a few hours but from what I discovered there’s a mini market that you can shop from right beside the lobby . The room was very clean , had everything you could possibly need . I woul definitely stay here again !"

The check in process was seamless, highly professionally and highly personalized which does makes one feel great checking into the hotel. Great appreciation to Staff Mr 尹英达 who went the extra mile to share with us information on the town, what to do and also the app where we can look for more information. He even left his WeChat number for us to contact should we require additional assistance. The hotel is located right in the middle of the Scenic area and the 24 hours shuttle allows one to go for the hot bath till 1130pm and yet still about to return to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Overall, experience was excellence and special thanks to the staff at the hotel.

Gubei Watertown Hotel is the best choice we ever made for Gubei trip! The hotel came with the package of spacious room overseeing Simatai Great Wall, unlimited entrance access to Watertown via face recognition, 1 afternoon tea at QingYe Inn (we were pleasantly surprised with the food that they served!), 1 Chinese tea 禅茶with cookies/ fruits n nuts in TongYuan pagoda. We stayed 3D2N in this lovely serene town during this freezy winter but we were paid off with no crowd and zen feel. Breakfast choice is superb based on the varieties that they prepared. Simatai Great Wall is just walking distance but we go with free shuttle service since we are the hotel guests. Simatai Great Wall ticket with 2 way cable car cost CNY220 for day trip. Simatai Great Wall also has night view with cable car cost CNY200 but if you are the hotel guest then special rate at CNY120. It is the only Great Wall that has night view n it is lovely n touching to see Gubei town at night from top of Great Wall. After night Great Wall, we went to sauna spa (voucher provided in hotel package 🥰) n the pool overlooking Great Wall, lovely isn’t it? I want to specifically thank the hotel staff 冀英杰being super helpful to show us the room, recommended the best food, showing the way of work for Great Wall route n he was the one who highly recommend Great Wall night view and I truly appreciate it. He has also helped me to get the money changing since we are back to Beijing via bus, also helping us to keep the luggage after check out as we are walking around to wait for 5pm bus. Overall, I really felt happy to choose this hotel with full package which cost optimal with quality stay. What a memorable trip in Gubei!

We booked our stay at the Yanqi hotel to get away from the city for a few days in the middle of our Beijing trip. The room was very clean calm and spacious with very comfortable bedding, although compared to other 5 star expericences I had, the finishing of the room were not great. the tiles around the bathtub were chipped and put back togehter with sloppy caulking the terrass/balcony was missing a seat cushion and the balcony door didn't lock. Also I had quite the trouble with the light switches thoughout the room which for some reason didn't respond every time you pushed them. The water pressure is my last point of critique, it took 45 minutes to fill a bath. The staff is friendly and helpfull. probably due to the vast size of the hotel and number of guests our stay didn't feel very personal. this may also be because some of the staff members don't speak English. the day on our arrival (around 2;30 PM we would have liked to have a drink and a light lunch on a terrasse, unfortunately the kitchen of all restaurants were closed and they don't have an outdoor bar (only an outdoor seating area). Our only option was the lobby bar but they didn't sell savoury food, only cakes and candy. staff told us roomservice might be available but would take a very long time. This meant we skipped lunch. (there is a vending machine on the property that sells instant noodles, which for us is not an option) All together our stay was a little bit dissapointing eventho the island is very well maintained and quite relaxing and has a huge potential.

Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

I only booked this hotel because I had a bike race on the Sunday morning. It’s location is incredibly convenient, and it’s great they allow you to take your bike in to the room :) The room had a bathtub and a separate shower, which is always great, though the water wasn’t hot enough for my liking. Included within the room rate was a noodle buffet, though that in all honesty was very limited and had minimal taste, though you can’t look a gift horse in the mouth. My friend and I were considering the hot spring after the bike race but I was simply too exhausted, and it was full of kids, and didn’t consider it a relaxing prospect. I therefore cannot comment on its quality. The location of the hotel, while only 100 yards from the park itself, please expect a 2.5km walk to the nearest shop/restaurant/convenience store. The lobby has a small cafe/bar that sells a couple of pastries, a limited selection of beer and wine. They do have spirits behind the bar but they look seldom purchased. Although their prices very reasonable, it is not manned so you’ll have to get try to get the attention of a member of staff, which was a slow process. Positive: Clean room Bathtub (not hot enough for me) Can bring bike in room Hot spring availability Negative: Slow service No shops close by Limited noodle bar

We spent two nights at this Club Med hotel with our two children. Having had a fantastic experience at another Club Med previously, we were looking forward to this stay—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel feels outdated and neglected. Our bathroom was worn down, and many facilities were either closed, broken, or simply abandoned. The indoor pool was shut, the outdoor pool looked like a ruin, and several machines in the fitness room didn’t work. Even in the indoor water park some hot baths and the sauna didn’t work. Food was average at best—both breakfast and dinner buffet lacked variety and quality. Service was underwhelming too: despite few guests, I had to fetch the high chair and children’s cutlery myself every time. One activity offered was a trolley ride from the hotel to a nearby vineyard. My wife was looking forward to a proper wine tasting or a guided tour of the estate. Instead, a woman briefly showed us two shelves of wine available for purchase—no tasting, no tour. It was disappointing, especially given how impressive and vast the vineyard itself was. On the plus side, check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. But overall, this stay was disappointing and far from the Club Med standard we had come to appreciate.

One of the best things about this hotel is the location. The subway station is just a few steps from the lobby. Since it’s on Line 2, we could easily reach most major sightseeing spots in Beijing without any hassle. The hotel staff is well trained, very polite, and most importantly, helpful, especially the front desk staff, 嘉鑫, who helped us solve many problems with professionalism and efficiency. Big shout-out to her! The luggage storage service is also very convenient. We used it after check-out so we could still explore around Beijing before heading to the airport. The process was smooth and hassle-free. However, there is one area that could be improved to make the hotel even better: dining. Every day when we went to the dining hall for lunch around 11 a.m., we were told to wait in line for at least an hour. Because of this, we ended up relying on ******* delivery for most of our lunches. The delivery locker system was very helpful, since the restaurant clearly has limited capacity and cannot accommodate all hotel guests during peak time. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with great facilities and service. Totally worth the price.

It was a great choice for a hotel in beijing, all staff speaks English, some even French. Everyone is very caring and helpful. The rooms look exactly the same as in the pictures, the cleanliness is beyond great, the breakfast tastes amazing, the location is perfect as it is close to everything. I even befriended Mr Yang, the manager, who recommended all the touristic places, helped me with setting up WeChat Pay, bicycle apps and much more. I even went back for a second time, after my journey in china, with direct contact of the hotel and it felt like I'm back home again. I highly recommend it for anyone who's going through beijing, words aren't enough.
