Hotel Romantik di Beijing

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel. The entire environment is beautiful, calm, and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff truly exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly polite, caring, and attentive to every detail. Their warm attitude and impeccable professionalism made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. We are deeply impressed by the high level of service and the overall quality this hotel provides. We are extremely satisfied and can confidently say that this hotel is truly outstanding. We highly recommend it to everyone — it’s a place where comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality come together perfectly. The hotel’s SPA center deserves special praise. The atmosphere is relaxing and elegant, and the service is simply exceptional. The therapists are extremely professional, attentive, and skilled — every treatment felt carefully tailored to our needs. We were truly impressed by the quality of the procedures and the warm, respectful attitude of the staff. Their care, precision, and professionalism made the experience unforgettable. Great hotel, very big and resembles the old style but new. Very spacious rooms, we had a great view of the Great Wall from our windows.. specially at night.. magnificent views.. staff very helpful but language was a great barrier.. the translator machine didn’t quite work or understand properly.. so a lot of questions were unanswered or incorrectly… and the biggest thing was getting there.. no one really gave us proper directions on how to find the hotel from the entrance when the DIDI driver is not from there or the address is for the precinct not the hotel..

This is a very nice hotel. Room was spacious and comes with complete amenities. Staying in the hotel allows unlimited access into the Watertown park and the entrance is just next to the hotel. They also provide shuttle bus to travel into the Watertown and the main highlight was to be able to climb the Great Wall at night. A wonderful experience staying in this hotel altogether.

We booked our stay at the Yanqi hotel to get away from the city for a few days in the middle of our Beijing trip. The room was very clean calm and spacious with very comfortable bedding, although compared to other 5 star expericences I had, the finishing of the room were not great. the tiles around the bathtub were chipped and put back togehter with sloppy caulking the terrass/balcony was missing a seat cushion and the balcony door didn't lock. Also I had quite the trouble with the light switches thoughout the room which for some reason didn't respond every time you pushed them. The water pressure is my last point of critique, it took 45 minutes to fill a bath. The staff is friendly and helpfull. probably due to the vast size of the hotel and number of guests our stay didn't feel very personal. this may also be because some of the staff members don't speak English. the day on our arrival (around 2;30 PM we would have liked to have a drink and a light lunch on a terrasse, unfortunately the kitchen of all restaurants were closed and they don't have an outdoor bar (only an outdoor seating area). Our only option was the lobby bar but they didn't sell savoury food, only cakes and candy. staff told us roomservice might be available but would take a very long time. This meant we skipped lunch. (there is a vending machine on the property that sells instant noodles, which for us is not an option) All together our stay was a little bit dissapointing eventho the island is very well maintained and quite relaxing and has a huge potential.

We stayed in Monchhichi room which was beautifully decorated for us and our son. We really loved the night-time laser lighting in the room. Apart from the beautiful location, exceptionally friendly service, the cherry on the top of the cake was the assistance that the hotel staff did to celebrate our marriage anniversary. They prepared a perfect surprise for my wife by preparing cake and balloons in the front room. Wonderful experience! Looking forward to visiting again… soon!

Hotel room was great with ample space even for 3.Directly Connected to the hot spring which we can enjoy all day. Hence, you don't have to worry about cold weather. This hotel is near Daxing airport. Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

We spent two nights at this Club Med hotel with our two children. Having had a fantastic experience at another Club Med previously, we were looking forward to this stay—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel feels outdated and neglected. Our bathroom was worn down, and many facilities were either closed, broken, or simply abandoned. The indoor pool was shut, the outdoor pool looked like a ruin, and several machines in the fitness room didn’t work. Even in the indoor water park some hot baths and the sauna didn’t work. Food was average at best—both breakfast and dinner buffet lacked variety and quality. Service was underwhelming too: despite few guests, I had to fetch the high chair and children’s cutlery myself every time. One activity offered was a trolley ride from the hotel to a nearby vineyard. My wife was looking forward to a proper wine tasting or a guided tour of the estate. Instead, a woman briefly showed us two shelves of wine available for purchase—no tasting, no tour. It was disappointing, especially given how impressive and vast the vineyard itself was. On the plus side, check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. But overall, this stay was disappointing and far from the Club Med standard we had come to appreciate.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent—right in front of a metro station, with bus stops nearby, making it very easy to get around Beijing. There is also a nice bakery downstairs and several shops in the area, which was very convenient. The hotel provided all the amenities I needed, including an iron, and I was especially grateful that the staff arranged an early check-in for me, which made a big difference after my journey. The only minor downside was that my room's window faced the inner courtyard, so there wasn't much natural daylight. Also, the hallway rugs made it a bit difficult to roll luggage around. However, these were small inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience. The hotel was comfortable, well-equipped, and very convenient for exploring the city.

It was a great choice for a hotel in beijing, all staff speaks English, some even French. Everyone is very caring and helpful. The rooms look exactly the same as in the pictures, the cleanliness is beyond great, the breakfast tastes amazing, the location is perfect as it is close to everything. I even befriended Mr Yang, the manager, who recommended all the touristic places, helped me with setting up WeChat Pay, bicycle apps and much more. I even went back for a second time, after my journey in china, with direct contact of the hotel and it felt like I'm back home again. I highly recommend it for anyone who's going through beijing, words aren't enough.

The hotel looks very interesting and authentic on the outside, but in reality, it didn't meet our expectations at all. The room was not clean at all and very dusty. Don't try to wipe anything with a tissue or you would be disgusted. There isn't much space inside if you have big luggages. The breakfast was good and the girl working at the reception was very nice. The location is central and located in the hutongs of Beijing. In general the room does not justify the price paid, so I sadly wouldn't recommend this place.
