I like dongshan. The hiking is great as there is little tourist infrastructure built to disrupt the ”nature” vibe that I and my partner want from hiking. With that being said, this lack of infrastructure hits home when it comes to food, drinks and the etc's. This is why I like this place, it solves the main issues I have with dongshan. The food is good, they have drinks, across the road is a coffee shop and a little convenience store.
The actual room was very good. Very spacious, and worth spending time in. The ac is strong enough that it heats the room in winter in a timely manner and the water pressure is nice. Other places I've stayed in at dongshan have had problems with water overflowing in the shower, which this place didn't have.
Also, big dog. Very friendly, very approachable, and will approach you. I don't know if the dog made me biased. I think it did. 10/10 would stay again.

Saya sangat suka balkoni. Pemandangan tasik di awal pagi dan petang memang cantik. Kawasan awam di tingkat satu dan separuh juga sangat bagus. Wain dan wonton Mak Cik Wang sangat terkenal. Coco sangat sopan dan mesra. Terdapat banyak restoran di sekelilingnya. Ia adalah tempat yang baik untuk percutian hujung minggu.

房子就在太湖邊，馬路邊上特別好找，一進去感覺乾淨整潔，比較安靜，是一位奶奶帶我們去樓上給我們挑了兩間挨着的201和202房間，是靠着湖邊的，這個價位房間裏面空間算比較大的了，而且衞生間也很大，乾濕分離，裝修風格也很好，有中央空調和24小時熱水，門口就可以停車，四樓是天台，有陽光房也有露天平台，風景很nice，雖然去的時候是雨天，很可惜沒有看到落日，但是下過雨也是很舒服的，別有一番風味，晚上很安靜，可以沿着湖邊的公路散散步，早上起床還有奶奶準備的早餐，特別好吃！我一口氣喝了三碗粥，下次還有機會來的話還是會住這家😁

放暑假最開心的當然是娃娃們囉！幼兒園畢業旅行去了新加坡，熱的天天在酒店玩水😂回蘇後依舊意猶未盡，女兒指定要去晉錫堂游泳🏊🏻看來已經成為晉錫堂的忠實小粉絲了，應該是想念他家的“哇哇”了🐱老母親馬上預訂，暑期是旅遊旺季，但很開心的是他家並沒有漲價，此處給一個大大的贊。👍我們這次一家三口來的，訂的一期的房間，這個價格這個環境絕對性價比之王，強烈推薦來這邊度週末，非常適合親子游，泳池在二期那邊，水質很好，泳池人不多，而且比較大，浴巾飲品也是有提供的。停車也方便，到了以後聯繫老闆，他們有專用車位。老闆是美麗又熱情的東山本地小姐姐，我們已經來了幾次了，服務態度很好，對娃也是很有耐心。晚飯我們依舊選擇了附近的農家樂。另外，老闆家的貓媽媽生了幾衹小貓咪，可以免費領養，感興趣的小夥伴可以去了解一下👌總之週末度假我推薦“晉錫堂”😊

在攜程上搜索挑選了這家民宿，看重是新開業，實地感受更好，值了！環境乾淨衛生，房間圖片和實景一致，房間內物品齊全到位，被子睡得也很舒服。院子很漂亮，有魚塘小橋流水有小童遊樂。老闆娘很親切熱情，早餐豐富，都是老闆自家種植大米、玉米、紅薯等，臨走還要送我們紅薯回家吃。地理位置也可以，路口餐廳口味也不錯，性價比很高！下次帶家人來還會選擇這家！👍拍的照片不多，拍的視頻不好上傳🤣。推薦給來西山島的友友們！🉑

第二天早早醒來，被太湖景色震撼到了，那日照島嶼寧靜的湖面，偶爾幾衹湖鷗飛過.我們都特別的興奮，被朋友一個勁的誇讚説這民宿選的好。收拾好去吃個早餐，餐廳環境也很棒，一點不敷衍，餐食搭配也很棒。吃完早餐在民宿逛了逛，幾個打卡點都很出片，轉頭我們就決定再續住一晚。我們原本就是沒有規劃的遊玩，走到哪是哪，如果不是時間緊，我們會很願意多住兩天，然後再在小島上慢慢玩個幾天。漫花島，每年都值得來一趟的地方，選對了住宿，心情很是加分。管家的服務都很貼心、耐心，整體體驗感特別好，走的時候都很不捨……

RRuthWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

1、正好週末巧遇先生生日，加上我們28週年的結婚紀念，我在攜程預訂了同裏湖大飯店。管家亞萍提前一天就和我聯繫，確認了我的需求，還幫我安排佈置房間和預訂晚餐桌位，並幫我對接了旅拍服務。
2、抵達酒店，在大堂辦理入住時就感受到了酒店的銜接工作很到位，不僅告知房間已精心佈置同時還告知準備了一個生日蛋糕會送到房間。
3、進入房間，一眼就看到了床上灑滿玫瑰花的成對天鵝、用樹葉拼出的28年的結婚紀念字樣，還有五彩繽紛的氣球，洋溢着浪漫的氛圍，歡迎水果旁、床上擺放着前廳部經理（英文名字）和客房部經理王芝用心寫的祝福賀卡，如此用心的安排，讓先生都感為歎止。
4、晚上到了卡夫卡餐廳用餐，餐廳鄭棒主管服務熱情，還幫我們精打細算推薦菜品組合，並安排吹生日蠟燭環節播放生日歌慶祝先生的生日，服務員王璐還幫助我們拍合照，感受了淳樸用心的服務態度。酒店送的生日蛋糕很精緻，味道也很贊。
5、第二天早上預約的酒店的旅拍服務，攝影師谷師傅非常有經驗，在達觀園裡根據我的服裝快速高效尋找攝影點、構思造型，管家亞萍全程陪同，還陪我換裝，服務到位。
6、離開前，客房部經理王芝專程到房間送上了小零食和礦泉水，再次送上祝福；我還買了酒店做的蛋黃酥，裏面是豆沙、肉鬆和鴨蛋黃，味道超讚！
除此之外，感受到酒店很多細節體現服務意識很到位，如下車後有人幫助拿行李、辦完入住有人陪同指引電梯、前台人員熱心陪同買蛋黃酥等。
感謝同裏湖大飯店讓我們過了一個圓滿的集生日紀念和結婚紀念雙重意義的週末！

Qqueen_kooIf you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me.
1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants.
2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind!
3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed.
There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!!
Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists.
I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them.
Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

PPengguna TetamuReally beautiful place. It looks to be brand new - maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it certainly looks new. The room (a suite) was very spacious, very clean. Just a very beautiful place that fit well with the surroundings. The whole building was impeccably clean.
I rated the service 5/5 because the owners were very nice, and largely left us alone. The family was processing tea and were quite busy - check-in was extremely quick, check-out too. I'm not looking for hospitality, so being left alone suited us fine - this isn't a criticism at all! The rooms don't really come with much extra (tea, coffee etc.), just a couple of bottles of water, so best to know that before you book if you usually expect this, but we didn't so we were fine with it.
You can buy really good tea from them (maybe we timed it well as we arrived at the peak tea-picking time). The owners were very kind and let us try some, and it's really good tea - we ended up buying some.
Food was pretty good, but again they were quite busy and have specific times that food is available, and no menu, so best to check ahead with them (again, really taking into account that they were super busy processing tea when we were there). Absolutely not a problem as there are so many great restaurants around too.
TV in the room had VOD but without VIP, so if you're looking to watch movies or anything best to bring your own (including HDMI cable as our TV didn't have one).
Location excellent. Space for maybe 4 cars to park, right next to a small hill, very close to the pick-up point for the sightseeing bus to take you up to Xishan, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, B+Bs etc. so if you like coffee, there's a shop just down the road. Very beautiful surroundings - you will be shocked that you're so close to Suzhou as there's absolutely no evidence that you're anywhere near a city!
All in all, really enjoyable. Amazing price for a suite (around Y500 per night) and one of the better homestay-style places we've stayed in. Highly recommended.
