"The room was tidy and comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was terrible, the decomposed tartare was nothing special but the ribs with pineapple were not good, too fat and then the pineapple didn't fit at all and then with the barbecue sauce... I couldn't eat them."

"The hotel is located a little outside the old town, about a 10-minute walk away. The furnishings are very basic, but clean. The only downside is that the key cards constantly malfunctioned and had to be updated at reception."

"Beautiful location in old town close to all attractions. Staff all obliging especially lovely lady on desk . Bar man also . The room is bright well furnished. Little things like shoe horns hooks in right places huge shower that doesn’t leak and perfect temperature. Lighting superb all little things that you often don’t get . I travel to Poland often and will return here. Breakfast imaginative and satisfying."

"Advertised as a duplex apartment Terrible experience, paid Eur200 for one night to stay in a room with a box built in to house the bathroom and bed on top leaving a 1 meter space all round it to fit in everything else. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix etc. All cutlery for 2 ppl. No wine glasses. When we asked they said go and get from restaurant downstairs!!!! Also just one clothes hanger!!! And the river view non existent. All you see is houses and trees. Photos attached"

"Located in the middle of the Old City. The reception clerk is kind and helpful. The room is basically good, but the kettle in the room was very dirty and obviously not cleaned. The faucet shape in the room is weird and too stiff to give out water, and the shower switch is faulty and sometimes doesn't respond. The elevator stopped working suddenly in the morning. The facility looks like a typically mismanaged American hotel rather than Polish one, which honestly I didn't like. Polish old classical hotels have better services and facilities with cheaper price."

"- beautiful accommodation in historical granary. It is in historical part of the city so you cannot park your car directly in front of the accommodation, but there is big paid parking place nearby. - breakfast is served from 9 a.m., but there are enough cafés nearby where you can eat or buy something to eat if you need or want breakfast earlier - we had maisonette apartment with river and Leaning Tower views. The apartment had full equiped kitchen with coffee and tea making equipment and big refridgerator, there were two single beds and smaller bathroom in the ground level and double bed and bigger bathroom upstairs - in case I come to Toruń again, Monka will surely be my accommodation no. 1 choice."

The location in the Old Town is excellent, with many great bars and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. A bit more attention to detail would be appreciated. For example, the reading lamps in the room did not work properly and should be checked. Other than that, I would gladly return anytime."

"I recommended this place in a company I worked with and we did a small Christmas Party here with people from all over Poland. It was nice, cozy. The food was delicious. Later, between 2020-2022 I had the opportunity to be in this place a few more times and I just have to say that was is even better. The food is equally delicious and the breakfast buffet is my favourite. The rooms are renovated, preserving their former mood. The place keeps changing for the better. In addition, it is worth exploring Toruń from this hotel. The location is perfect and the atmosphere of the historic place is truly amazing. There is no other place like this in Toruń! Will definitely be back, highly recommended."
