"Stayed here for one night; very pleasant and comfortable. Hotel doesn’t look like much from the front, but in fact, it is located in a lovely setting on the shores of a small lake and a large park beyond. It is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, through the park, to the riverside pathway along the Danube. The place is modern and the staff are welcoming. My room was spacious and comfortable. I’d let them know I was travelling with my dog, and when I got to the room, I found they had already placed a full water bowl for the dog, as well as a food dish with a note to inform me that they could provide dog food if I’d forgotten to bring some. I had a very pleasant dinner in the outside part of the hotel restaurant, sitting next to the water. Highly recommend."

"You don't expect any luxury for this price. But what you can expect is a clean and WARM place for the night. Nothing if this was true. The bed linen was stained and full of holes. The lamb above the sink was not working. But worst cast scenario: the heating didn't function at all. It was awful cold in the room (outside temperature in Ulm-May-2026: -1 degree celsius). Although the landlord was notified twice, he didn't react. Therefore: don't even think about renting these rooms."

"We stayed in this lovely, rustic style hotel for two nights. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, with plenty of storage space, comfy bed, mini-bar and lovely wood features. Free parking. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. It was in a good location for hiking, cycling or taking a bus into Ulm. Good restaurants near by too. We would be happy to stay here again."

Great very careful rooms, super bathroom with rain shower.Little attention in the room. In the EC, a nice small cafe, extremely friendly staff. The accommodation price includes 1 hot drink and 1 cornetto each. Very good price-performance ratio. Rathaus garage 3min away, cheap."

"We visited Hotel Lago in Ulm for breakfast with friends and were fortunate to get a table on the terrace overlooking the lake. The setting is truly beautiful – peaceful, spacious, and very comfortable, making it an ideal spot to start the day. The breakfast buffet is not overly large, but well-curated with a good variety of quality items. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty. A highlight is the live cooking station where egg dishes are freshly prepared to order. However, the wait at the egg station was surprisingly long. Guests are required to queue up and wait quite a while, which can be inconvenient, especially during peak times. Overall, it’s a lovely experience in a stunning location – just be prepared to bring a little patience if you're hoping for scrambled eggs."
