Westotel Taverny - Paris Val-d'Oise ★★★★

📍 1 Rue Marie Sklodowska-Curie, Taverny

"It is nearby for business trips, and the location is a bit far from the city center and Charles de Gaulle Airport. The room is spacious and the environment is good. It is the first choice for staying nearby."

"For the price, it's very good. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and the experience has been good. The bathroom is quite small, but for the price, you can't ask for much more."

Hotel des Iris ★★★

📍 21 Rue du Général de Gaulle, Auvers-sur-Oise

"When I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM, I found it locked and empty. Someone relaxing in the cafe next door called out to me and called the owner directly. They said the back door would open if I entered a PIN. Since I didn't receive any notification and it was my first time using this system, I was confused as to why there were two keys on the box. I'll count that as a minus. However, the room was beautiful, had a coffee machine, and was well-cleaned. The room was spacious and convenient, enough for two people to open their suitcases. I would have liked to stay several nights. It's close to the nearest station and a great location for a pilgrimage to Van Gogh's holy sites. It's a shame that the supermarkets and surrounding shops close early."

Hôtel Mercure Cergy-Pontoise Centre ★★★★

📍 3 Rue des Chênes Émeraude, Cergy

"Ran down hotel, needs more than a few updates. No electric outlet in bathroom unless you want to shave. Beds are hard as a rock and pillows are flat. Breakfast was underwhelming. When I return to Cergy for business, I will NOT book this hotel again."

"I do not recommend it, the hotel is being renovated (which is not indicated on the website), noisy because the transport company is just behind it and starts at 4 a.m.!! It's a shame that the room itself is very good, comfortable, and there is plenty of space in the shower area."

Hotel Campanile Nature - Cergy Pontoise ★★★
"Our stay at Hotel Campanile Nature – Cergy Pontoise turned out to be a comfortable stop during our travels through France. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway, making it easy to reach without any detours. Because of its location, it seems to attract a mix of guests—small sports teams gathering for events and workers staying during the week. Despite the variety of visitors, the hotel felt fairly calm during weekdays, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it made good use of the available space. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, and the room was equipped with the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Most importantly, the bed was genuinely comfortable, which is always something I appreciate after a long day on the road. The only real drawback was the soundproofing. Unfortunately, the walls seemed to let through more noise than I would have liked. One neighboring room happened to be occupied by a couple who is having affair. Their arguments—and other activities that are best left private—became an unexpected soundtrack throughout the night. It was one of those situations where you find yourself wishing the walls were just a little thicker. Overall, Hotel Campanile Nature – Cergy Pontoise offered a practical location, a comfortable bed, and a peaceful atmosphere for the most part. With improved sound insulation, it could have been an even more restful stay."

"I booked a room for 2 people but the room had 3 people max capacity. My daughter who is 14 was to stay with family members but plans changed for that one night and was to stay with us instead. Front desk lady did not care or have consideration we came from Canada and we had to book another room! She wouldn’t allow my daughter to stay in the same room. We even offered to pay for another person for our room, she did not listen. Horrible customer service. We had to write in a card and asked for a pen. They asked for the pen back as they didn’t have more. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Never would go back or recommend to others."
