"We start from the positive notes: excellent location near the historic center, beautiful view from the room. The painful notes come for cleaning the rooms really scarce (we found cumulative hair and powder), lack of air conditioning that for a 3 stars I gave for suppose there was The persians don't close, and the night sleep openly, to look for a little fresh, it made us eat from the ants. If you cannot smoke in the pool area (as reported at the entrance, seeing from us only after being blamed badly) the said cartel also indicates that you cannot make tuff or eat.. It is a pity that we were reproached only us while a child (10 years old about so not very small) disturbed the pool adventurers all the time, making us and other people go away while his family was intended to eat dirt also on the ground. Common areas with well-clandestine and unsigned cameras (noted only because at the reception I saw the monitor's reflection and being suspected of how the lady from the reception hastened to scream for the cigarette). There are no electrical grips near the bed but we had to load our devices in the bathroom one at once, because the only grip available in the room was used by the fan that if you didn't want to get out of the heat we could not shut off. I wouldn't even come back for dirt."

Our apartment A6 was ideally located with a large garden space in front of the terrace, bedrooms and a beautiful living room, 2 bathrooms. The person (Mathieu) who welcomed us was helpful and friendly. We thank him again for doing everything to make our stay fabulous! We recommend this establishment located less than 10 minutes from St Paul de Vence."

"We planned on staying 2 nights but didn't stay even for 1 night. Room was tiny, fridge still dirty with olives from previous client in fridge. ice box iced up. Big stain on ceiling, door to room paint flaking off, bathroom shower floor tiles broken and looked dirty. Poolside rough stones and grass surrounding pool mostly soil. No cushion for wooden sunbed so very hard.very noisy due to construction site next door. First time I have ever left a hotel as felt it was not clean. "

And especially, the lady on reception who on hearing that that I lost the back of a diamond earring promised to send it on to me if the cleaning staff found it. Three days later, back in the UK, I was thrilled to see a package from Hotel Cantemerle. That's what I call a fantastic service!"

"The hotel in it self is not bad but the management is not trust wordy. I had a financial discussion about breakfast what was paid twice by me. I mentioned this to the staff and the promised to help me. After I checked out I asked it again “ no no problem we will arrange this”. That’s a week ago! I sent 3 mails with “help” not even a reply. Boring your money somewhere else where they really help you when you have problem. Not just Words without meaning."

"My wife & I enjoyed a great stay here. Location is very good, 10 mins walk into the lovely town of Vence & 10 mins drive into St Paul de Vence and only 30 mins dive to Nice. Rooms are very well appointed, clean & comfortable. There’s plenty of sun beds & day beds dotted around the garden to relax and enjoy the sun. WiFi is excellent, strong enough to stream from Netflix. The staff were excellent and very helpful, recommending take away deliveries when the restaurant was shut & providing us with cutlery & crockery when delivered. Restaurant was fantastic (separate review). Only reason for not awarding 5 stars is because of the prices of extras... a cup of coffee was 7 euros!! Small bottles of water in the mini bar 4 euros. 10 euros for a cognac. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "
