Hotel Dengan Pools di Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

The facilities were clean and easy to spend, and above all, the staff were great. I ate sashimi set meal, seafood bowl, and hamburger steak that my daughter ate at night was very delicious! Children are very satisfied with the pool! The sunset was beautiful and the best weekend. I made the next reservation on my way home! Thank you again next time.

A group of five people stayed for one night! The staff is courteous, happy! The room is very spacious, especially the small living room location on the terrace. After soaking in the hot spring, I have a chat with friends at night and enjoy it very much! Fresh, special, delicious dinner ingredients! Breakfast buffet is rich, multiple choices, expect to stay again!
