Its location is unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk to the city centre, 600m from the Cathedral in High Street, and 1km from Rhodes University, putting shops, restaurants, and landmarks within easy reach. Even better, the lively restaurant and bar scene is a short stroll away, while Sunshine Coast beaches are a manageable 37-mile drive for a day trip.

GGyanenduThe property is located right next to airport and gives you a nice, safe and hygienic space for shorter/ longer stays. From tourist point of view its like 10 mins Bolt ride from here to Summerstand and Walmer. It is highly recommended for short stays where in you have business near port or airport. The breakfast has limited menu and one can get bored quickly after 3- 4 days. The staff is very friendly and accommodate any special request like early check-in or late check-out. The room size is at par with pricing and well maintained by the staff. I was here for a personal work near airport by so it worked out perfectly for me as being a solo traveler I wanted a budget, safe and clean place. The location of the other Road Lodge is right in front of marine drive and in the middle of happening place if you are looking for restaurants and shops at walking distance and a safe environment. Highly recommended for people who want a cozy place to crash and freshen up to catch a connecting flight or who want to stay really close to airport. You can literally pick your bags from baggage area and walk to the property in five minutes.

EEddieBA Pleasant Stay at Carslogie House, Port Elizabeth
We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed by the gentleman on duty, who was friendly and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease after a long drive. Our room was spacious, clean, and overlooked the pool, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. All the facilities were excellent, and we appreciated being able to safely park our rental car inside the property.
Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with a good variety of options and a thoughtful vegetarian choice for me. The setting was calm and comfortable, perfect for starting the day.
The only issue we experienced was during breakfast service, where the staff seemed more focused on the larger groups and overlooked us for quite some time. We eventually had to go to the kitchen to place our order. It wasn’t a major problem, but it did stand out given how excellent everything else was.
Overall, we had a very good stay at Carslogie House. The accommodation, location, and overall hospitality were all great.

LLize007We had a slight mix-up with our booking before arrival, but the team quickly stepped in and offered us an upgrade. In hindsight, the new cabin didn’t quite have the deck or view we had originally booked, so it didn’t entirely feel like an upgrade—though we did really appreciate the inside shower, which turned out to be a nice bonus.
That said, the staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The location is fantastic, and we loved the added charm of two little springboks roaming around the property! We also enjoyed a couple of great braais during our stay, and the massage before we left was the perfect way to end the trip.
All in all, we had a lovely and memorable experience, and we would definitely recommend it.

I had high expectations for Radisson Blu, but my stay was pretty disappointing.
First off, check-in was delayed because the rooms weren’t ready, and even after waiting, they still weren’t properly cleaned. There was even an empty milk carton left on the desk, which didn’t inspire much confidence in their housekeeping.
The room itself was pretty dull, aside from the great view. It also needed some serious maintenance—bits of wood were coming off, and the paint was peeling in places.
The biggest issue was the water from the taps—it came out brown, which was a major red flag.
Overall, for the price, I expected much better. I wouldn’t stay here again when there are likely better options out there.

LLize0074 Stars – Great One-Night Stopover!
Exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. The staff were absolutely amazing—so welcoming and helpful—and the food was delicious! Big shoutout to the bartender, who made watching the FIFA final a blast; great company and great vibes.
Location is perfect too—walking distance to the Hole in the Wall, and we even had some cute local doggies tag along for the stroll!
A couple of minor hiccups: the bed was a little squeaky, and the bathroom window didn't have a handle to close properly. Nothing major, just small things that could use attention.
Overall, a solid stay with fantastic service. Would recommend for a short trip!

PPaetzoldWe have stayed here many time because it is a beautiful building in an excellent location. The general staff are outstanding and the food and rooms are amazing. Unfortunately the front desk is just not the same as the rest of the experience. When I wrote in to ask for an early check in I got no reply- on my arrival I asked about this and was told because I got no reply that means it’s fine. I find this odd as I explained that we were arriving after a three part flight over 18 hours. We have stayed here at least 3 other times and my comment for each time would be pretty much the same - I feel the front desk could do better to Mach their rest of the experience.

PPatricia KitshoffThe Premiere ICC Hotel is a fantastic choice, boasting a perfect location and amazing views that truly elevate the experience. The stay was enjoyable, but there were a few areas for improvement:
Missing Amenities: We had to call to request gowns and slippers, which should ideally be provided automatically. One of the robes was still moist, suggesting it hadn’t been dried properly.
Heating Issues: The heating either wasn’t working or we couldn’t figure out how to operate it, which made the room uncomfortable at times.
Despite these issues, the hotel’s strengths make it a solid option, and with a little attention to detail, it could be even better.

DDONGHUASelf-driving Garden Avenue, depending on the positioning of the hotel. The location is good, go down a bit at N2. When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered that the hotel looks better than the pictures. I booked a family room, but it turned out to have three beds and a small garden with the side door open. The room is very spacious. The decoration of the hotel is very retro, and breakfast is generally a buffet. Overall, the price/performance ratio is high. It’s also great to go around. The location is good. Highly recommend the restaurant next to the hotel, the lamb shank is super delicious!

SSarah JoanOur stay at Barefoot was absolutely amazing and we loved the property and the fact that we were away from the hustle and bustle! The staff are fantastic and make you feel like family! Shout out to George, Olivia, Kellen and James! Our game drive on the property was one of the best I’ve experienced with James being so knowledgeable about different wildlife, plant life and nature conservation. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for making us feel so at home!
