Posizione eccellente, in centro a Le Mans a 6 km dal circuito Ottima organizzazione per late arrivals viene fornito un nr di cellulare da chiamare che fornisce un codice per entrare e le chiavi sono in una busta posizionata dentro una cassaforte di cui viene dato il codice. camera spaziosa e pulita , letto comodo lo raccomando, tornerò sicuramente

The hotel was a little further out than I expected as it says central, also the room we were given was lovely but a few things need improving, the bathroom stunk of garlic when we arrived, just the bathroom and it went on opening the door and spraying perfume after a while but smelt liked they cleaned it with garlic oil, also there is no fan or air-conditioning and it was very warm, we had the windows open but both my daughter and I got eaten alive by mosquitos so a fan in the room would be helpful! Also was very noisy outside, building works opposite at 7am and uni students opposite the other way laughing and singing till the early hours so not much sleep between the noise, Hest and mosquitos! The actual room is lovely, with a kitchen area but just a few improvements would make it better.

Perfectly located, just a 10 minute walk from the beachfront, restaurants, watersports and ******, this apart/hotel is an ideal base when visiting La Baule and the surrounding area. It's nestled within a residential area so much calmer than the busy seafront. Rooms are decent, well equipped with a good bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful (they booked our terre de sel visit for us). There is a small pool and a ping pong table. Breakfast is available for a fee, but we found a really nice epicèrie just a 5min walk away, selling bread, croissants, fruit, veg, paté and coffee too. WiFi could be a bit sporadic at hotel, but I would highly recommend.

They touched the bed linen with their hands, they looked around the room as if they were looking for something or if they were police. My regret was I should have asked for IDs before letting them in or call reception. Like I said, we were not quite awake, I wasn't ready for this, and this was so completely weird. It felt completely unnecessary. I have dual citizenship French and British, this wasn't a language problem. I can't imagine how someone who wouldn't speak French could process this situation. We have decided to never use this hotel group again as a result and waited over a month before writing this review. ---- The hotel replied my husband. We cannot accept all of their excuses For Intrusion of Privacy! 1/ The hotel said, they posted a notice inside the lift. But we didn't see any notice - they can come into customers' rooms to check/ count a towel anytime. Normally, if you have a customer/ traveller, you will not read all notices inside a lift with some heavy suitcases. It seems the hotel just wants to find an excuse to deny their faults - 2 staff went to our room when we just woke up with our pyjamas at 9:30am. Also, it doesn't make sense. That's meant - the hotel staff can do anything they want that they can go to customer room anytime if they post any notice. They should inform all our customers when we check in face to face at the counter. Besides, we needed to use a card access the lift to go up. It's also very annoying as the cards didn't work a few times, so we needed to go back to a reception to refix our cards during 4 nights stay. If they really posted a notice - How can every customer can read this notice because we had the cards problems already ??? 2/ the hotel messages also make us feel more upset and disappointed. They told us, actually, 2 staff were a hotel director and reception manager who got into our room to count a towl at 9:30am. They didn't show us their staff card / ID. The didn't say they were a hotel director and receiption manager. I asked my friend who is working in one international brand hotel. She, this Nantes hotel made a big trouble and fault..So, it's not acceptable. Since a customer rents a room, a staff should not get into a customer room except a cleaner or having an emergency situation. We DID put a sign - DON'T DISTURB. 2 staff still knocked our door and they needed to go in. Honestly, they are a hotel director and receiption manager who should know more hotel rules than a junior staff. We cannot accept these kinds of excuses. We would not rent this brand of hotel anymore. Not Recommended.

I stayed to catch an early train in the morning. Perfect location across from the train station. I stayed in the single room and it was very clean but not much of a view but sun did come in. Black out curtains as well. Looks like a recent renovation.There was an elevator for my large suitcase. Staff was friendly. Resto/ food options nearby. Internet worked fine while I worked on a small desk. Lots of plugs. I would stay again.

Very good value, clean, functional, everything you'd need for a few days stay. Limited, but adequate cooking area with fridge, coffee machine, oven, hob, microwave, but no kettle or toaster. Bathroom good, but no toiletries provided. We got into the private underground car park, at Euro10/day, but perhaps not big enough for all guests?

Je ne suis pas du tout satisfaite de mon séjour dans cet hôtel. J'y est séjourné courant mars. J'ai oublié une paire de chaussures dans la salle de bain. je m'en suis rendue compte une fois rentrée chez moi le soir. J'ai appelé la réception dès le lendemain pour signaler mon oubli mais on m'a répondu que la femme de chambre n'avait rien trouvé.... J'ai rappelé quelques jours plus tard, et on m'a fait comprendre qu'on ne pouvait pas réclamer auprès des femmes de ménages... Le responsable m'avait demandé d'envoyer une facture pour me rembourser mes chaussures, chose que j'ai faite. J'attends encore le remboursement.... Autre mauvaise expérience dans le même hôtel : 1er matin, 7h45, j'arrive pour prendre le petit déjeuner : plus de pain, plus de viennoiserie, plus de brioche... il a fallu attendre plus de 30 minutes pour voir arriver du pain et des croissants congelés réchauffés au four. A 17 € le petit déjeuner, c'est du vol !!! bref, hôtel à fuir, ce sont des voleurs !!!

-A 250EUR deposit for a 2 night stay is abusive -Heat wave or not heat wave, the temperature inside the room is unacceptable. It hits over 32 celsius when outside is 36. There is a problem with termic isolation or the building was designed for something else. But they provide a fan and a quilt (just in case) -A spring mattress from the previous century hard like a rock -There is supermarket just in front with a generator that makes a loud noise all night. They also have a sensor-triggered light that turns on randomly illuminating my room temporarily in the middle of the night -Arrangement of the studio is bad. Toilet wide. Corridor very wide. Room is tiny -Price was very expensive providing what you get -Staff cannot manage any situation besides arguing ‘not our fault’ or ‘don't complaint. You have a fan' They are just incompetent showing an outmost contemp for their customers All in all, a sick & disgusting experience. I just didn’t want to stay in the room… felt it was unhealthy. Worst ever place i’ve ever been. The manager of this place should spend just a night to ‘enjoy’ the experience Ps. To the place, Please restraint from providing canned answers. Just close this place in summer if this is what you can offer. Arguing that is not your fault is unaceptable. If you are not responsible for offering a livable space, then, what are you accountable for? [try to answer this to yourselves] Ps2. Habitué d'un hôtel 2* assez proche mais sans ascenseur, j'ai choisi cet hôtel Astoria 3* à l'occasion d'un voyage avec mon épouse et ma fille pour ”leur offrir un peu plus de confort”. Mal m'en a pris. D'une part, les chambres de l'hôtel Astoria sont petites, aménagées sans aucun goût, quelques petites étagères en guise d'ameublement, une salle de bain réduite avec une douche étroite et sans rideau ce qui permet d'inonder la salle de bain à chaque coup. Pour cette venue, l'ascenseur était un point important, eh bien l'ascenseur était en panne ”depuis hier” (une classique dans les réponses de ce type) et n'a pas été remis en marche durant notre séjour, ce qui ne s'est même pas traduit par ”un geste commercial” de la part de l'hôtel. Quant au petit-déjeuner, le choix est maigre pour les 11 euros demandés. En résumé, un séjour beaucoup plus cher que d'habitude pour 1* de plus et du confort en moins.

Chosen mainly because it offered secure car parking together with location and a reasonable price. It’s not at the heart of the city but close enough and everything within walking distance. When arriving by car, pop into the hotel to get the car park remote and detailed instructions on how to access. Despite it seeming complicated the lift from the car park comes up in reception. We had booked a studio apartment but got a one bed. Comfortable bed, shower worked well. Spacious sitting room. This is not a luxurious place but it was clean, everything worked and the staff were great - especially the Mexican lady working mornings. It represents a solid choice.

J'ai pris un apparemment avec deux chambres à l'étage et une salle d'eau. En bas une grande salle avec un canapé une table 4 chaises une kitchenette un réfrigérateur et un petit congélateur. La pièce et très spacieuse. Il est vraiment très bien. Un tout petit bémol sur certains endroit où le nettoyage n'était pas optimum. L'accueil est bien. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt bien la salle et un peu petite on se marche facilement dessus lorsqu'on veut accéder au buffet.

Avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Très bon accueil. Hôtel vraiment très propre. Le logement se compose d'un petit coin cuisine salon avec TV, frigo ...une salle de bain avec serviettes. Une chambre avec une excellente literie. Les chambres sont très bien insonorisées, nous avons très bien dormi. Un balcon de taille raisonnable avec une petite table et 2 chaises. Le parking extérieur coûte 3€ le parking souterrain 5€. Des places sont aussi disponibles dans la rue. Personnellement nous avons opté pour le parking extérieur à 3€. Le petit déjeuner coûte 12€/personne, c'est un peu cher à notre goût. Une piscine à l'extérieur est minuscule mais elle a le mérite d'être là. Nous ne l'avons pas testé car déjà 5 personnes dedans du coup 3 personnes de plus on se serait cru dans un jacuzzi donc non merci. Également présence d'une petite salle de sport la non plus non testée par manque de temps. Donc, pour récapituler hôtel propre, calme avec une bonne literie

Spoilt due to poor reception accounting. The hotel itself is in a great position for the beach and sightseeing locally, the staff are very helpful and the room was more than average with a decent sea view balcony. Food was basic and decent while the wine list was restrictive and expensive for the quality offered (and this is local to the Bordeaux vineyards!) When settling the bill I noticed that the hotel had taken $400 TWICE on the day we booked and then again on the day BEFORE we left from my Amex Card. They then said they couldn't credit an Amex Card. No apology no nothing............ So they had $1200.00 to pay a bill of $700 for our 2 day stay and said they couldn't refund. They took the sums in my opinion illegally and then refused to credit as ”Amex doesn't allow a refund....” Rubbish.... they do it every time I've ever asked as a 40 year customer. Eventually they credit a different Visa card...... Such poor service. Shame as the stay and Hotel were really very good.

La moquette comportait des tâches. Tâche ”blanche” présente sur l'oreiller rouge sur le lit. Deux bâtonnets de coton usagés dans la poubelle de la salle de bain lors de la réception de la chambre.

Première fois dans un hôtel campanile. Chambre très agréable et propre, lits confortables, TV appréciable après une longue journée. Seul petit bémol, des petites traces dans les recoins de la salle de bain. Autrement rien à redire, un service d’accueil très courtois et aimable.

Ibis is a know commodity. Modern, clean, no-frills. GREAT breakfast, very helpful staff. Quiet. A little warm in the room. I think I would have liked it 10 Euros cheaper per night considering Nantes isn't particularly touristy. I wasn't especially happy that the front desk told us a cab to the airport would be 40E, and it ended up being 65E, with the driver having confirmed the settled price with the hotel - unbeknownst to me - after the fact. No matter. We'd stay here again.

Hotel muy céntrico, perfecto para ir andando a todos los sitios de la ciudad. Tiene muy cerca el tranvía. Personal del hotel muy amable y cervical. Hotel muy limpio, es nuevo y bonito. Nuestra habitación estaba bien, no era muy amplia pero correcta. Hay secador, champú, toallas… hasta una tetera. Si volvemos a la ciudad, repetiremos encantadas nuestra estancia en este hotel.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli dans cet hôtel. Cet hôtel est lumineux, accueillant et propre. Nous avons apprécié notre chambre pour 3. Elle est très bien agencée et belle avec un balcon. La literie est bonne avec des bons oreillers. Salle de bain avec douche et vasque assez grande et bien équipée. Wc séparé de la salle de bain. Ne convient pas pour des personnes âgées car l’accès de la chambre avec les escaliers est compliqué avec des valises. Nous gardons sans souci l’adresse de cet hôtel.

The hotel is functional and an ideal stopover point for travelling in France. The room was very clean and the bathroom facilities were good. The beds were quite hard and the sofa bed used by our children was very squeaky!! Breakfast is very good with local and organic produce.

Comfy bed, great shower and a clean room. Good breakfast. If your going to le mans circuit it's perfect, great cheap parking 2 minutes walk away, tram to circuit 5 minutes away. Town center 10 minutes.

We arrived on our bikes in the middle of a heatwave and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We able to store the bikes in their secure car park, the rooms were clean with very effective air conditioning. We ate dinner in the hotel which was OK, but it's just reheated pots of food. Breakfast is served very early if requried with a very good choice.

Hotel is located adjacent to the river and opposite the historic old town, which has a vast choice of excellent restaurants. All public spaces and rooms in the hotel are very clean and the staff friendly. Bedrooms, although not over large are clean and have efficient aircon. Beds are comfortable except in warm weather when the plastic mattress cover makes them sweaty and uncomfortable. We stay in many Ibis hotels and this is the only one where covers like this are used. Breakfast selection is reasonable, however, the hotel seems to be understaffed with the person on reception having to double as a breakfast food replenisher. This causes shortages of some items until they get replenished. There is now no proper restaurant at this hotel, just a selection of pizzas, salads and microwavable meals. Again, prepared, cooked and served by the person from reception assisting one other person. This is not really good enough in a 3 star hotel, but fortunately, other restaurants are nearby. The hotel offers secure car parking at extra cost. Therefore, in spite of its shortcomings, because of its location we still recommend it as being good for an overnight stay.
